“I'm biased so I'll be simple. The atmosphere is great to enjoy a game, have a drink and eat amazing food. I love their breakfast, I'm a biscuits and gravy guy and they have the best around. I love the kraken tea it's... you should try it. Ask the burgers are great, the sides are well thought out and the entrees never fail to impress me.“

“Lake City Pub is a great local spot. I was first alerted to the pub via a social media suggestion post. I was so surprised and impressed to read that they only carry local (as in Pierce County only) beers and ciders on tap. We enjoyed an amazing lunch. The hubby had the Cherry smoked meatloaf that was also wrapped in bacon. The meal was served over mashed potatoes and with a side of seasonal vegetables. The vegetables were braised Brussels sprouts. I had the Ruben sandwich and substituted the clam chowder for the chips. The chowder was flavorful and had ample clams. It was thinner than a typical chowder, but the flavor was on point. The Ruben was one of the best I have ever had. I was pleased to find thick slices of tender corned beef brisket on my sandwich. The sauerkraut, dressing, and cheese balanced the whole thing. We followed lunch with a slice of chocolate mousse cake. The staff were friendly and attentive. Food was served quickly. Our water was always full. We will definitely be back.Parking: There is some parking in front of the building and a gravel lot to the left side of the building.“

“Best old school classic American Chinese in area. Tacky old restaurant with lazy Susan's and weird bar. Giant koi pond that fascinates my three children. All food is delicious. Never had a bad dish. This is not a fancy Chinese restaurant, it's a strip mall that used to be a theater. I saw Lost Boys there in the 80's. It's wedged between a pool hall and a nail salon. There will be shady guys smoking, but it still will be worth it. Door Dash and Uber crazy, support in person or call in and pick up. They'll let kids feed the fish. I could put some food porn pic up, but I'm 47 and that's g & r. Go yourself and see.“

“(I didn't rate the food because I have food allergies--and I heard the menu is changing as of March or April 2024)The cider is amazing and the friendly staff is extremely knowledgeable about it. The handcrafted urban chic decor is conducive to great conversation and the musical offerings on Fridays and Saturdays have been top notch.“

“We came here for a late lunch after doing an escape room. The food was really good! Two of us are vegan, one is vegetarian, and the other two are omni. Most of us ate vegan/vegetarian and really enjoyed our meals! The server was fantastic and our meals were really affordable (most of us spent $25 total). It is a dive bar, so the noise level was expected (it's hard to hear and you have to shout). It was also really dark in there. But nothing that would keep us from coming back! I highly recommend the vegan nachos! They were amazing.“

“Parking can be a little tricky, but we parked around the corner at the Safeway. Only about 90 seconds away.Food was all very well prepared and tasty. Slightly under seasoned, but a little salt worked great. Food quality also seemed really good. Everything was prepared well.Servers were on top of things, even with it being busy. Didn't need to ask for much.Drinks did not skimp on alcohol which was nice. Though I didn't enjoy my rum and coke. Probably the only thing that we didn't like.Would recommend this place if you're looking for a solid, local breakfast or brunch spot. I'll be going back here.“
