“Legit Mexican food...I knew when I saw them hand pressing tortillas I was in for a real treat, its always the places you'd never expect that blow you away...if ever nearby you must try...much love put into the craft here.....you will not be disappointed. “Extensive menu with all the usual delights of a Mexican restaurant, plus a lot more! We each had one of the three kinds of Alambre on the menu, and all were delicious - and large, and filling! Lots of authentic food for reasonable prices. It was busy when we arrived for dinner, but we were seated promptly, shown the salsa and chip bar (included with your meal) and served beverages promptly. Our meals arrived soon and all were piping hot and freshly cooked. Friendly service, great food, good prices. Highly recommend.“
“La popular is a great place to get food to dine in or to go. This is an orchard community with workers whom I'm sure are amongst the hardest workers anywhere in the planet. I enjoy many of the Mexican choices on the menu, and they make hamburgers?it's all good at La Popular. If you're in the area or just taking a road trip it's worth it to stop in for their yummy food.“
“My only complaint is that I've finally found my favorite Mexican eats and it's 5 hours from my home. Guess more road trips to Mattawa are in my future.Excellent service, amazing tortillas, clean and bright interior. 100% will come back.“
