“Ate here for the first time today and it was really good! I had three Adobada tacos and I swear I haven’t had ones these good in a long time! I also tried a bite of their Asada tacos, and though it tasted different than most asada tacos I’ve had, it was also pretty good. The beef almost tasted smoky, which I liked. Next time I’m in Wapato or passing through I will definitely come back for some tacos!“
“Great tasting tacos. Highly recommended. Service and atmosphere lack in comparison to the flavor. Not the cleanest of places. If you are looking for some of the best tasting tacos around at a very decent price and care about nothing else then definitely try this place out. Highly recommend bringing cash. Debit or credit will increase your price per taco considerably.“

“Ever since JJ's opened up in Wapato, there have been a lot of us that have been hoping that another would open closer... Now we have a couple, and all is right with the world! Queso Birria tacos were not invented here, but in my mind, they represent the inception of such a wonderful dish. Primarily because it's the first place I ever had them. They do more than just beauty get here, but Manda, I do that well. For those who have not had. Tacos, think of meat that sat in a slow cooker for a couple days, and is then put into a taco that is being hugged by another taco with cheese in between. it is seriously all the best things taken to another level! Traditionally, it is done with goat, but the beef down around here is very good. You didn't get a cup of consuming, which is effectively the drippings from the slow roasted meat. It's sort of a red soup, and man, it's good enough to swim in! They have one of the better California burritos in the area as well. The Cali burrito is everything that is awesome about a burrito with fries added inside. It is next level good! The standard tacos, Chalupa's, and really everything they make here, are spectacular. The folks that work here are always helpful, and despite everyone of these places, being perpetually, busy, to get everybody served and well taken care of! The actual inside of the restaurant is simple, but there's plenty of space to spread out and the number of large and small tables. You owe it to yourself to try this place. It is seriously the type of spot that you will try and then come here three days later because it's so good! Welcome to town JJs!“
“Great service with a smile. You can tell they care about their customers. I got four different types of tacos. The chicken, pork, beef, and shrimp tacos were all unique and tasty. The price was pretty low for the amazing quality of food you get.Definitely recommend stopping here to eat!!! ?“

“Good lord, sweet jesus. This is my 100% all time favorite Mexican restaurant in the state. Don't agree--I'll fight you.Their chicken is roasted over apple wood coals, fresh tortillas, great salsas. My parter and I will day trip from Olympia to Toppenish just to eat lunch here. I can't recommend this more highly.Caveat, not the fanciest establishment. “A friend I work with took me here my first time, and I'm hooked. Today I went alone, and got fresh tortillas from blue sky market, and barely made the cut before they sold out of carnitas. Its busy, and when you dig in you'll see why. I topped mine with a spicy pico salsa, and it was the best carnitas I've ever had. Whoever is responsible for that perfectly cooked pork is truly a Genius. You taste the quality of the meat, and the perfection in their process; not a ton of salt or seasonings, just pure perfect porky goodness! I Pray their business is blessed, and profitable for many generations. I'll be back often!*Edit- I called in an order today, and it was ready when I got there. I was given a sample; which worked out because I had hot tortillas waiting in the car! I tried the salsa today, and it's perfect. It's a must get! “After being a customer for 15+ years, needless to say- this is my favorite taco place in town. I love the fact that the food here is wholesome. Ingredients are simple and I can order with confidence knowing the side of beans for my infant are not fried in lard and the tortillas are not dipped in oil. Just delicious handmade corn tortillas with whole toppings. What keeps me coming back is their fiery habanero salsa which never fails to disappoint!“
“I've had Belis Catering twice and it never fails to please me. Something to know ahead of time is that the parking lot is only for 3 cars, meaning, you would need to park at the gas station next door or near Dairy Queen (not too far either). I went ahead and ordered myself a Sope and some rice and beans on the side. The Sope is as big as a to go box; It was very delicious. The dining area is quite small and you'll be smelling like food when you leave the place. I'll definitely be coming back for more!“

“We were here from out of town and had no idea where to eat and decided to try JJ's. We had the birria tacos with the dip with rice and beans. Iam pretty picky about mexican food because I cook my own, so we never go out for mexican but this was over the top good. We loved it! It was hard to choose because of the great menu selections but seems like we picked the right menu item. The gentleman that took our order was patient and helpful when we asked questions. The only negative thing I have to say is it was freezing cold in the dining area and it was 68 degrees outside so I don't understand why it was so cold in the restaurant. Having said that tge food was fantastic.“
