“I got the salmon/cucumber crumpet and it was very nice and rich. The employees were kind even early in the morning. It's hard to find a cafe in Seattle where the baristas aren't standoffish (and this is coming from a Seattle barista). It had a charming and quaint ambiance, reminds me of old Seattle.“

“Such a cool hidden gem in Burien! I got a slice of cheesecake and a slice of the pistacchio as well. Total of $19.08. A little pricey but the quality is really good and they have a good selection. The staff is very friendly and it is in a cool building with glass window hole in the floor so you can see what is going on beneath in the bakery. A cool place so if you are in the area (say to have the best spaghetti and meatballs at Vince's Italian, right around the corner), then stop in here after.“

“This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Seattle! The pastries are delicious and the staff is very friendly. There is usually a free seat upstairs where everyone is working on their laptops (so I am assuming they have good wi-fi). The coffee is wonderful! I had a blood orange donut per the recommendation of one of the staff members and it was delicious!“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️Was aimlessly wandering SeaTac and stopped by to try a sample…the sweetest woman introduced me to my new favorite coffee. I was nervous about the taste after attempts to choke down dirt water (other mushroom coffee alternatives), these are SO GOOD! Very smooth. The night time tea is also delicious if you like chamomile ☕️“

“We really enjoyed the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich, the bread it was on and the sauce were amazing. The avocado toast was great as well and made on amazing bread. I wish it was a little less lemon forward as it was quite tart. The coconut pie doesn’t have much coconut flavor which was disappointing, I just expected more from the signature dessert.“

“This cafe has unique seasonal flavors of your classic coffee drinks and bakery pastries. There’s ample space in the air conditioned upstairs or in open air seating outside. I enjoyed a Cardamom Rose Iced Late and chocolate croissant. The single all gender restroom was clean, well stocked, accessible, and had a changing table.“

“Oh my goodness ... Brotherman & company are doing it! Not only did it smell phenomenal in here, the atmosphere was warm and cozy.Brother man came from behind the curtain. Like the wizard of oz, and I immediately got excited. OK OK, okkkkklay , wait, let me back it up. I just lied to you all, I actually got excited when we pulled up. And I saw all the little black illustrations. Mix with the Asian flare, you know. It's always a good day when brown town sticks together!!!Go back to the experience, Like I mentioned, he came from behind the curtain like the wizard of oz..Let me pause for the cause and give a shot out to the INTENTIONALIST, (if ya know, ya know..it's an IG THANG) Because of Laura , get to re-discover my city in a BLACK&BROWN dope kinda way! It's crazy that I am actually from Seattle. But I feel like I take this to stranger in regards to how much it has changed, especially all of the gentrification ??I am so happy and please that for the month of February. The intentionalist Team is offering a BLACK history month pass, which includes ten stops that you can get special free goodies from...Super dope that UMAMI KUSHI was on the list!I'll be honest. I have seen this place a few times going to that corner store, But every single time it is closed, once we drove up on it today, I instantly got excited and knew the full circle of how I felt before even coming to explore. We selected the jerk chicken and curry beef options. Finally, I made it to the house and stuck them in the oven, flipping it over once .. And having the bright idea to take their chimmi-churi sauce and mix it with some spicy Mayo I got from a sushi place. How did the lyrics go??? " I'm in heaven, simply heaven..." Yes, like that.Safe to say. I am from Seattle, like I mentioned before. And I am most Def sleeping on this food. Additionally, if you haven't tried it, so are you!!The flavor was phenomenal, the crunch was superb, it hit all the right taste buds , and it made me say DAMN WHY DIDN'T I BUT ANOTHER ONE??And I'll leave you with this. They even have a tofu option. And I'll be the first to admit proudly. I am not again. I repeat for the people in the back. I'm not not a fan of tofu, but i'm excited to go back and actually select their tofu version as well. This was just a great vibe of a place. It was warm and inviting. The illustrations are so fun that you wanna take the idea home in slap it on your own wall.Brotherman was amazing!! All the way from his respect level, his hospitality. What he stands for is what he's doing. The knowledge he shared is energy and everything in between. We will MOS DEF be back when we can!!Appreciate you for sharing your love and passion in your food , right there off of SEWARD PARK.“

“Best tasting coffees! Pro tip: if you like a mocha, try their Medici. Doesn’t get any better than that. Pastries are all really good too and the Staffs super nice. Cozy inside with a few spots to work and then during the summer they have a few outside tables.“

“AMAZING spot for a quick breakfast! I'm not one who's super into sweet breakfasts but I looove pasteurized and this place had such a great selection it was hard to choose! I got the chicken adobo and the bacon jalapeño scone, the scone was such a nice bread texture and was my favorite. I also tried my friends raspberry pastry and it was all delicious. The atmosphere was also really comfortable and cute, and the staff was super friendly and service was quick. I wish I was a local, I'd be a regular!“

“After recently moving to Seattle after many visits here, I have finally found my favorite coffee place. I am a former barista and current at home barista and super picky about my latte. Anchorhead Coffee by far has the best quality, taste, and preparation, at least for a latte and chai. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the options. They let me try the drip to see if I wanted to buy a whole bag of the beans. I ordered a 10 ounce oat milk latte with a splash of maple syrup and let them know I don't like it too sweet and it was perfect. The espresso was flavorful, not bitter, or too watery, and the milk was perfectly steamed and not burnt which if you drink a lot of lattes you know is hard to find. The place was busy and a bit loud but that's just Seattle coffee shops in general. I will continue trying new places, but Anchorhead is now my go to. 10/10 would recommend even for the pickiest coffee drinkers.“

“I’m so glad I found this place! You can taste the love in the food. I got here just as they opened so they were still setting up for the day but it fills up fast! Inside is mainly standing room but there are some tables outside where you can enjoy the food.“

“An absolute gem! Such lovely decor and amazingly happy and courteous staff. The free gift was also very thoughtful! Delicious chocolate cake, delicious coffee and yummy cinnamon rolls. The cake and cinnamon roll had just the right amount of texture! The croissants were crunchy and crispy. The chocolate cake was very moist and flavorful, not too sweet, but showcased the dark chocolate. I also got a free mug!“

“I was lucky enough to have a friend bring me some almond croissants when he was visiting. I got pastries here years ago, and I had forgotten how large and flavorful they were. There's a nice crust on top and just the right amount of marzipan. Again, the croissants are huge. Definitely reheat them in the oven before consuming!“

“The pastries I grabbed to go were both very very good, as you would hope from a place called Bake Shop. I tried the cardamom twist and the biscuit with jam and butter. Highly recommend both! The service was friendly and helpful and the ambiance was nice. There's what appears to be an all gender restroom and they have both indoor and outdoor (uncovered) seating, where I saw a pup politely requesting a muffin from their human. Would definitely come back for more pastries!“

“Came here during my first ever visit to Seattle and this spot did not disappoint!! Their wide array of baked items make it almost impossible to pick - but I do recommend their rotating pastries! I had a mushroom croissant-like pastry and a pear-yogurt sweet pastry, both were to die for. Service was immaculate, I felt so welcomed and appreciated the help selecting what to get. The space it large, inviting, and has tons of windows for natural light - the perfect spot to read a good book while munching on some yummy food and sipping on a delicious coffee!“

“I work right next door. It's a blessing and a curse. The blessing is how hands down delicious these cookies are.. like.... The stuffed cinnamon roll..? How did they even do that? The ice cream is also heavenly, get the oreo coffee and make sure you're somewhere private, because it's not uncommon to start uncontrollably drooling and "mmmmm oh my godddd"-ing out loud. The curse is, straight the the thighs LOL ?the staff here is great, and the kitchen is immaculate, probably the cleanest open kitchen I've seen in my life, and I know how difficult that can be to maintain even after the first 6 months.“

“I chose Sugar n Flakes based on a referral I received from a friend who recently had their cupcakes at their wedding! The 24 (strawberry, chocolate, coconut, lemon-blueberry) cupcakes we ordered delivery for a baby shower were fantastic! We received multiple compliments on how delicious the cupcakes were! Placing the order was easy and quick; I worked with the bakery for a quote and when it was finalized they sent an invoice to pay online; this was really helpful considering I was planning the shower from out of state. Would def recommend and order again!“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently ordered a cannoli cake from Kelly Cannolis for a surprise party for my wife, and I couldn't be happier with the decision. The cake was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment I contacted them to the final bite, it was clear that Kelly Cannolis takes their craft seriously. The cake was not only beautifully presented but also incredibly delicious. The cannoli filling was rich and creamy, and the cake itself was moist and flavorful. My wife was overjoyed when she saw the cake, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. It was the highlight of the party, and I have Kelly Cannolis to thank for that. If you're looking for a delightful treat that will impress both your taste buds and your guests, I wholeheartedly recommend Kelly Cannolis. They truly know how to create a dessert that leaves a lasting impression. I'll definitely be a returning customer! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“Although finding parking is a bit of a challenge, this place did not disappoint. I chose a variety of items to try, the regular croissant, the chocolate hazelnut croissant, the pan au chocolat, and the Kouign amann. Each and everyone of them was amazing. Perfectly flaky and soft all at the same time, the flavors out of this world.“

“I was expecting this place to be so much better. I’m not saying it’s bad but my biggest complaint is that the pies were not even close to being hot enough. I knew these were not going to be made from start to finish at order but they were barely warm. If that aspect changed I’d probably go back but until I hear from someone else I need my food HOT!“

“What a jewel of a place. Angel’s desserts are delicious creations worthy of the best French pastry shops, prepared with an enthusiasm for the work that I have rarely seen anywhere.
