“A small local brewery that makes excellent brews. No, eh beer here. From Pilsner to stout and IPA to porter they do it right. They have a great knack for making boozy beers that don't taste or smell boozy, which is also dangerous if you're not paying attention“

“We'd been wanting to try Sorelli's for a while, and finally stopped in today. The lunch special was a great deal, and we even went home with leftovers. The food was delicious, fresh, and high quality. The environment was classic; I felt a wave of nostalgia as soon as I walked through the door. The service, however, is what sets Sorelli's apart. It is clear that this is a labor of love, and it shows in every interaction. We will be back again!“

“I'm on day 3, after purchasing a loaf of the Herbed Olive Sourdough, and it's held up remarkably well! Still a great crunchy crust and flavorfully chewy interior and really wonderful when toasted. Also got to try the new Double-Chocolate Sourdough muffins and loved these as well. I'd been craving choc muffins for about a week so was stoked to see these added and they didn't disappoint. Def a beautiful complexity to the flavor profile but not overwhelming at all. Hopefully, a new classic. ❤“

“Nat our server was absolutely exceptional. We had a large birthday party on the patio and we can’t say enough great things about Nat and how well they handled our party. The food was amazing, we had quite a few vegetarians in our party and they couldn’t believe how good the vegetarian chicken tenders were. 10/10 spot for ambience, food and service!“

“Food is really good, well-priced, and plentiful. It's far enough away from Market to have plenty of parking around. It was cold but they had a couple of nice heaters to sit under - they could use a few more probably. Strongly recommend!“

“Bongos is a fusion style restaurant serving unique dishes from a few different nationalities. I ordered the gumbo and the jerk chicken plate. The gumbo was tasty but definitely not southern style as expected. The jerk chicken breast was super juicy ? but I found it lacked flavour. The value for food here is really good.I have to mention that all dishes are being served in plastic containers and cutlery that are not even being recycled, this is horrible. Serve your customers some real plates and metal utensils, I can't even imagine the amount of waste coming out of here. Get it together!“

“We had an amazing dinner at a specialty pizza restaurant in Seattle named Sunny Hill. It’s a little hole in the wall that has the best Pizza and appetizers in Washington. If you’re ever in the area, make sure to check it out. It was so good to be with the family and finish up some details for today’s big event.“

“If you come here on a sunny day expect to be in an extra long line. It gets really busy. Even at night when it's cold it's still so busy. But the line moves pretty quickly for the most part. The staff work quickly and are very efficient. Even when it's busy they are still very friendly and attentive. I didn't feel rushed at all even with a huge line behind me. They're happy to answer questions and provide samples. They have a lot of fun interesting flavors. Even the flavors that might sound odd are actually really good. I suggest sampling their unique flavors and see for yourself! It is a bit more pricey compared to a typical chain ice cream place but the quality of their ice cream stands out from those other chain places. The space inside is small and it's just barely big enough for the lines but there's lots of seating outside. It's also right next to the play area for kids so that's a bonus for us parents. The kiddos get to play after/before their ice cream treat.“

“$20 flights are just stupid.. $5 per 5oz makes zero sense whatsoever when 16oz is $8. Like I just wanted to sample a few flavors and then buy a pint of the one I like.. why do i have to feel like an absolute idiot to do so. Ciders were fine and great they allow kids and dogs.“

“Took my fiance here with my mother for my fiance's birthday. It also happened to be Easter ?. The staff was still operating at top notch although other places were straight up closed. Glad we walked it.We ordered the seared octopus which was according to my mother who is an octopus fanatic some of the best she's ever had ??..., the scallops which were my favorite (5⭐)... and the spicy steam clams which my fiance adored (delicious green curry base). Over all amazing experiences for grabbing some cocktails and a small bite with friends or family. Come show this place some love so it can stick around ?“

“One of my favorite coffee shops in north Seattle. Super friendly staff, yummy and well-prepared drinks, delicious pastries and ready to go eats (don’t skip on the farmers pocket if they have it - a savory pop tart from salmonberry) and a good amount of seating, though it’s always busy when I go and can be tricky to grab a spot for a group.“

“First time trying and OMG sooo good!!! Inside is kinda small but open seating that like opens it up so it doesn't seem as small. I had the spicy chicken sandwich combo with the like first notch of spicy and it was just right!! Chicken is juicy and huge piece on my sandwich. Fries were excellent. Definitely going here again. Must try if you haven't!“

“Delicious. The owner is very kind and friendly, the food is fresh, feels homemade, as if I were a guest in his home. I am not familiar with Honduran food, but the Honduran enchiladas to me are more comparable to the tostada in form. The mashed potato was a surprise and a fun twist to my inexperienced palate. The sauce on top of the cabbage adds an extra dimension, balancing the meat with a pleasant acidity that beckons me to take the next bite.We also ordered the quesa birria con consomme, which was a huge portion packed with slow-roasted beef, melted cheese, and a lovely dipping broth. The owner mentioned the recipes were passed down several generations. That was the theme across their dishes, a respect and reverence for what came before, treating everyone as a friend, and welcoming you to their casa with a great meal.“

“It's my first time buying here. I am Venezuelan and I have wanted to try these donuts for a long time. I bought the one with guava cheese and 3 milks. Very rich! The only thing is that I didn't like the chocolate base on the 3 leches donut. But I did want to come back and try others on the menu. The hours are a little complicated but I was lucky enough to walk around the area early and visit the store :)“
“fair isle has rapidly become my go to brewery since they opened. a little off the beaten path means it doesn't get nearly as loud and "bro-tastic" as the other Ballard breweries. the beer itself is excellent and their experimental nature means their is always something new to try. the occasional food is always tasty. overall, fair isle is my favorite of all the Ballard breweries; a well hidden secret that I hate to share.“

“Ordered the #1 quesa-birria tacos and was very satisfied! The tacos themselves had a little less flavor than I was expecting, but they ended up being perfect when combined with the consume and salsa. Also, special shoutout to the person at the register whose name I forgot to catch: I ordered the strawberry-hibiscus Agua Fresca, but wasn't in the mood for something too sweet, so they let me taste it before ordering. I ended up diluting it with extra ice to the level of sweetness I could handle and it turned out great. I appreciated their patience while I figured out what I wanted!“

“Food is good. Online ordering/payment system is NOT GOOD. Here’s why:-It says 5-10 minutes for pickup but then when you go to check out the earliest time you can choose is 25-30 min-You have to sign up for a “Joe” account-The default payment option is to hook up a bank account…who does this to pay for a sandwich?-The tip selection is BROKEN! I entered 2.00 for the tip. Good think I double-checked because the webpage entered $52!!! It might have taken 200% instead of $2.Anyway, this online ordering system really made me frustrated and took away from the food experience. The sandwiches and burritos are great though.“

“If you want something good and quick for dinner - this is the place! I've been here twice now and will keep coming back. I've gotten pizza and now the beef/lamb gyro and both are just delicious. The pizza has a really good wood-fired crust and the right ratio of toppings. Its better than some off the other local pizza joints... The gyro is super flavorful and the portion is real generous. And the French fries are just as good as the other things. I'll be back :)“

“The chocolate cake is so delicious...and available by the slice. My usual purchase is a slice of leek and gruyere quiche, or quiche Lorraine, but you need to get to the bakery early as the quiches sell out quickly. The hot coffee mocha is mighty fine, too.“

“Came to check out this local brewery after seeing their post on how they might be closing and wanted to support our local businesses and try out their beers, of course! When I walked in, I was nervous because a lot of breweries welcome children but it's never spacious or have proper seating options (I don't just mean highchairs), but only stool seating you know? NOT Peace of Mind! It is SO spacious inside, booths and stool and even couch areas are available. The bartenders were so friendly and engaging with our kiddos. I loved the booths and the dart and game areas that they provide. Some might think it's a turn off, but I think it's cool they let you bring in your own food. They do have food trucks outside that had pretty decent Mexican food, nothing special... but besides that! Very cozy and comfortable brewery with friendly staff.“

“I'm giving this place *all* the stars. Is it cute inside ("atmosphere")? It has a "local eatery" vibe inside. And the atmosphere is provided by the incredibly good-natured, friendly people who work there as well as the partons who frequent. The fellow customers are kind and friendly if you take time to chat and the chefs are up for a laugh. But the bottom line: this is the best Mediterranean food I have ever eaten. The meat is tender (*beyond* fall apart in your mouth tender) and the servings are generous. Everything is fresh. No one will regret picking thos place to eat over anywhere else in the vicinity. Go hungry, you won't be disappointed!Parking: I can always find parking here. Even on weekends.“

“On the spur of the moment, I stopped at Layers Sandwich Co. last night. Boy, am I glad I did. Everything we tried was delicious!!! We had a Precocious Piggy - slightly spicy, melt-in-your-mouth, amazing. I don't normally like frisee, but here, it worked. We tried a CBR as well. Good meld of flavors. Only thing I'd change about it would be for the chicken to be heated. The Fifis are stupid good. It's nice that we were splitting them because I could have easily just gobbled them up and then I would have been too full for my sammy. At the suggestion of Ashley, the owner who was running the truck, I added a slice of banana bread, which I saved for this morning. Holy moly. The flake salt made that bread POP! If you like delicious sammies, get yourself to Layers.“

“The food was great! The ordering process and layout is a little confused, need more direction sign for people standing around and wonder~All are packed as take out, sit at the outdoor covered seating area, with the paper bag all became trash just for 5 seconds use, seems not so sustainable. Maybe they can have the handbag on the side and customer can take if needed.“
“My mid day study session was in need of a beer, and I'm glad I chose Stoup! Their wifi reaches the upstairs 21+ seating area which was perfect for me.Pretty IPA-heavy selection, but that's pretty expected for most breweries. They still have a couple lighter beers and some sours, as well as canned cider and wine available.“

“Skål Beer Hall provides the atmosphere it markets: a Nordic, viking-esque aura mixed with the chill vibe of a bar. The decorations, wooden architecture, and dim lighting invokes a feeling of relaxation after a long day of hunting.Food at Skål was decent -- there is little variety, but certainly a few unique dishes to try. Specifically the venison and pork belly skewers are a must. It took just one bite to taste the abundance of flavor.Drink choices are solid as well; the blonde ale I had tasted fine. Prices are a little high, but in line with Ballard expectations. One unique note are the various Viking-themed board games available to play. There is a large collection to select from, and provide great entertainment for a party intending on drinking and chatting out into the night.Overall, I recommend Skål Beer Hall as a great place for gathering in general, and even more so for (Nordic)themed ones.“

“During my recent visit to Seattle, I had the pleasure of dining at Swel, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance set a high standard – elegant yet welcoming, perfectly capturing the essence of fine dining with a personal touch. The highlight of my meal was the filet with peppercorn sauce. Cooked to perfection, it was a flavorful masterpiece that melted in my mouth. Accompanying this was a tequila old-fashioned – a delightful twist on a classic. This drink made me rethink my usual bourbon preference; it was that impressive! But what truly set Swel apart was the owner's involvement. Their passion and dedication were evident in every detail, from the meticulously crafted menu to the attentive service. It was inspiring to see an owner so deeply involved, ensuring each guest's experience was exceptional. In summary, Swel is a must-visit for anyone in Seattle seeking a top-tier dining experience. It's a testament to what happens when exquisite food, innovative drinks, and heartfelt hospitality come together. A true five-star experience! Also, make sure to get the scratch-made bread pudding. “as this was my first time trying gumbo, I'm not sure I'm fully qualified to judge this, but I'll give it a shot anywaynormally, I don't like soups, because they're mostly liquidhowever, this was less of a soup and more of a dish with a ton of sauce - due to how much stuff is in hereI loved that this bowl was completely packed with solid ingredients - so each spoonful got you a variety of different thingsthe most important thing in a soup is getting the broth right - and I have to say they pretty much nailed itthe liquid has some spice to it - which very much pleasantly surprised me, and in addition, it has great depth of flavorI found it to be probably the best part of the bowlnone of the toppings are particularly noteworthy - they're all pretty solid additionsas mentioned earlier, the amount of meat in here was pretty fantastic.I noticed chicken and sausage as being especially present throughout, and both were pretty goodthe bread was decent - I thought it could've used more toasting/crispiness and more butter - as it became a bit too softwhen dipped in the gumbothe fries were also ok - i would've loved if they were seasoned with some sort of cajun seasoning - but the sauce was goodthe price wasn't too expensive, around 15 dollars, but the portion size wasn't huge either - so it's about a wash thereOverall, good flavor with a ton of different ingredients. 8/10“

“The baristas here have finally won my heart. I was once a Diva regular, but since I lost my daughter to suicide I couldn't bear to go. We then switched to Lighthouse, which is closer, and has great coffee, but it always felt distant. The other day I ended up spilling to the "crow tat" guy. He's a no nonsense fella who remembers people and drinks, but says little. Today I went and he bought my coffee. Actions, not words. I can respect that.“

“The food was fantastic. It's very much a "serve yourself" type of place though.
