“Had the hamburger which was delicious. Cooked just right (medium rare). However, it was very busy when we arrived (around 12:30) and service was very, very slow. Thought maybe it was the wait staff. However, we had breakfast there one day and not many customers at all. Waitress was quick but food order was very slow in arriving Took almost 30 minutes to get receive food after ordering. Husband thought it was slow kitchen.“
“the fish and chips were filling, great portions for the price. however, they are cash only which is a bit unfortunate as the food is not cheap. not a ton of room to dine-in, but it was cozy in the way only a food stall can be with "communal" tables (aka ask nicely if you can sit next to someone)“
“Stopped here for lunch. The calamari was excellent. Crab cake sandwich was a 4/4. Ahi tuna sandwich was a 5/5.The bread pudding is the best we have had in years. Reminded us of New Orleans.Extremely attentive staff.Port Townsend Red Ale??We will be back.“
“We had an earlyish dinner here on a Sunday night, and there was no problem getting a table by the window (great views!). The staff were friendly and checked in regularly. I got the fish & chips with coleslaw. My husband had the pork chop special without the gravy. We enjoyed all of it. The parking lot appears somewhat small, but it turns out there is additional parking in front of the adjacent condo building.“
“Fabulous food. Great clam chowder. My curry seafood was fabulous. My wife's mussels and clam linguine was perfect! Both of us got huge numbers of mussels and clams. My curry seafood had salmon, cod, as well as the mussels and clams. The yellow curry sauce was perfect, a mild slow heat. Makes me want to learn how to replicate it at home!“
“Food is excellent. They were very very busy and surprisingly we got in and got a table pretty quickly. We have visited this place a few times in the past and never got in because the hours posted don't match the hours that they are actually open. I'm going to assume that they run out of food because they are very popular with the locals and so sometimes they have to close early. Every single thing that we ate was unbelievably great. I thought that they did a really good job handling the deluge of customers in the morning. So I would say go early and don't believe the hours but definitely do come and eat. Dietary restrictions were also accommodated very elegantly.“
“My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and had an amazing time. The room was beautiful and had an incredible view of the water. Had a lovely swim at a park just half a block away. So many surprisingly great restaurant choices. Slept with balcony doors open. And then woke up to great coffee and bagels flown in from midtown Manhattan from a coffee shop on the block. Definitely coming back. Love this place and Port Townsend.“
“Omg! So we are currently in the room!!!! It's 3:33am and some weird sounds are starting to happen. We literally saw a large tall man standing in the bathroom but when we turned the lights on, there was no one there. Seems friendly enough though as we are still alive! My friend here who is a Self-Proclaimed "Ghost Expert" thinks that it signifies protection in vulnerable spaces aka creepy bathrooms. We just heard another sound like moaning of a female and the expert at hand thinks it's a sign to get naked and dance with the spirit. Seems friendly enough though as we are still alive!Wow! Just saw face of a god dripping from the ceiling And falling down the walls. The "Ghost Expert" interprets that as, "Very nice excited, this vision is a 10 out of 10 as seeing the face of God is good luck!"Seems friendly enough though as we are still alive! It's now 4:32AM and the room is full of a certain fragrance of Jasmine flowers! The "Ghost Expert" interprets that as, "it's good luck as that's the smell of growth in life"Seems friendly enough though as we are still alive! It's now 5:43 AM and there's a presence. We ar“
“We stopped at Siverwater Cafe looking for a simple lunch. It is definitely not that kind of restaurant, but in the best ways! Their french fries are the best I've had in town. I had their hand battered cod and it was amazing! It has a house made dill batter which pairs very well with their tartar sauce. My husband ordered the Apple salad and loved it! The portion sizes are generous and the staff are friendly and obviously supportive of one another, making the vibe positive and relaxed. Definitely check it out!Dietary restrictions: Another customer needed a gluten free version of their meal and the staff was not only able to accommodate, but also spoke about the preparation of food in the restaurant.“
