“We stopped in here after copper and salt had a 45 min wait and we were so pleased! My friends were chilly and loved the fireplace area to sit! We ordered bloody Mary's and holy cow! They came with almost a meal in them!! YUM!!! We also each got some different entrees to share, some pizzas and salads. Everything was very good. We had pleasant servers too! Loved the options of drinks on the menu. Can't complain, this exceeded my brunch expectations as far as a pizza place goes! Thanks for saving the day!“
“I had a chicken burger and Irish coffee. It's a smaller restaurant/bar and that makes it a little loud inside. If it hadn't been cold that day I would have preferred to sit at an outside table instead. The photo is not bar seating, but a small seating area near the kitchen. It's kind of cool seeing the team expediting orders.“
“A wonderful and unassuming place run with obvious care. The quality of every ingredient makes even the simplest menu items a joy to eat. Great variety of slices available, lots of options for meat eaters and vegetarians, and I am a huge fan of gluten-free crust. Very comfortable, casual setting. Highly recommended!“
“One of the best pizza's ive had and maybe my personal favorite. I know everyone has there own preference but hard to beat the deep dish, i dont really order pan pizza's often but this one was amazing. Desert was great to would highly recommend“
“Dorky’s is such a fun vintage arcade! We will visit this downtown Tacoma location on the occasional weekend night for some drinks and arcade games. We did have to present ID for 21 and over this night, but I know they allow minors during normal business hours. They serve a variety of beer, cider, and seltzers at the counter for a low price and they have ATMs and coin machines on site. I highly recommend trying out this great local location!“
“Came into Bar Rosa with my husband tonight! FULL house! Our food and cocktails were incredible as always! Our servers were amazing! Very friendlyAnd accommodating. However there was this rude lady sitting with her family across from us complaining about the conversation of another table and how loud they were being. But honestly I didn't think they were being loud or obnoxious at all! This lady was being a total Karen. Scolded our servers as if they could control what the table talked about. They offered to move their table. Mind you the place is full and they refused. The lady tried to ask me if I thought they were being loud and I told her not at all. She gave me a rude glare for the rest of their time there. You could tell her husband was embarrassed by her shenanigans. The staff handled it very well!Best pizza and service in Tacoma! We will be back !“
“We love coming here for absolutely delicious pizza, calzones, and sub sandwiches. It's not New York but in terms of vibe and food quality, it's the one that comes closest in Tacoma. There's a LOT of good pizza in Tacoma but this place is modest and you'd never know by looking just how good the food will be. Bonus points for serving single slices every weekday before 3 for the neighborhood high school students from the School of the Arts.Kid-friendliness: A perfect place to bring kids. Super casual and spacious.“
“This place never ceases to amaze me. With the best little neighborhood vibe, the experience takes you to a whole different atmosphere, which changes with each visit. You will never be disappointed with anything this place has to offer. This place is a hidden gem, hidden in plain sight for an enjoyment your bound remember. You will always go back, only because they have it like that!“
“Great atmosphere, but they need to work more on their pizza doughPros:They have a beautiful yard with picnic tables and benches, and felt a great place to be on a warm sunny dayThey use high quality toppings on their pizzas, which is rare even for Neapolitan pizzas in WA, and practically non-existent for any other types of pizzaCons:They need to work more on their dough. It was very firm, unleavened, and felt unpleasantly chewy. I’m not sure if they were using tipo-00 flour, but if they did it was waste of an expensive ingredient.Even though the toppings were of high-quality, the balance wasn’t very impressive. Finally, the pizzas are 20% more expensive than comparable Neapolitan pizzas in Seattle area, but I guess this is normal for a restaurant on an island.“
“Pizza was very good! Came in with my family and everyone loved the food. I got the pepperoni mushroom calzone which was one of the best calzones I had. They did bring the pizza out on some plastic serving plates that had a slight smell of cleaning solution. It wasn’t bad but not pleasant as well. We put the pizzas on ceramic plates and smell went away. We would go again possible ask if the pizza can be placed in a to-go box to avoid the smell.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Camp Colvos Pizza, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, the inviting aroma of freshly baked pizza greeted us, setting the stage for a fantastic dining experience.First and foremost, let's talk about the pizza. The pepperoni pizza we ordered was simply divine. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside yet delightfully chewy on the inside, and the generous topping of gooey cheese and savory pepperoni was a true taste sensation. Each bite was bursting with flavor, leaving us craving more.Despite the bustling atmosphere, the staff at Camp Colvos Pizza managed to provide impeccable service. Even though it was very busy, we didn't have to wait too long for our beer or our pizza. The servers were attentive and friendly, ensuring that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. The ambiance of the restaurant was also top-notch. The rustic decor and cozy seating added to the charm, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family.Overall, I highly recommend Camp Colvos Pizza to anyone craving delicious pizza in a lively and welcoming setting. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to come back and try more of their mouthwatering offerings!“
“Went in for quick grab to tyde my gf and i over till a late dinner , service was quick and attentive , we snack on a slice while we waited (5 min maybe) for our club !! Which was great plus there selection on snacks and beverages is bar none keep up the great work !!“
“What a nice place to enjoy a sandwich outside by the water. My wife had the Italian sandwich & I had the chicken salad. When they came my wife said, "Oh my, we could have shared."Both were delicious. It's not a big place, so I can imagine there not being open tables.“
“This is not a brick-and-mortar restaurant rather it is a catering service and they have a pop-up tent at the Tacoma Proctors Farmers Market on Saturdays where you can get counter service of some really delicious options. The stuffed Hoagie was such a delicious melty alternative to a Philly cheesesteak. So good!Vegetarian options: All vegan!“
“Our soccer team booked a private room for our team party. I called ahead and placed the pizza order. Everything was ready at the expected time and the Round Table staff even held some of the pizzas under the warmer for our late arrivals. I appreciated their attentiveness to our group. I highly recommend Round Table. Service was great and food was delicious. Thank you, Round Table.“
“I came in earlier this week and had wonderful experience. The pizza was the best I had in a long time! And I’ve been to a lot of pizza places. I recommend the Sammy’s combo. The employees were also enthusiastic especially Sean. Good job Sammy’s!“
“Beautiful little hidden gem in Tacoma.Parking can be a little hard, and the door easy to miss.Once you get in though, it's a gorgeous little, clean, chic, modern bar and bistro. We tried the Margherita pizza and the Spicy Vegan. Both are on point. Great chew and texture to the crust, and fresh, quality ingredients.“
“As always, great food and customer service! Just had my son's birthday party here for the second year and we are very happy with the whole experience. Such a great value, too! You can reserve the party room for free as long as you intend to order food. Thanks again for a great time!“
“Not impressed. Went in on a Saturday night before 6. There were 5-6 tables occupied and most had their food already. Sat and waited 20 minutes to be acknowledged by staff. Placed an order for salads and a pizza at 6:12. Salads didn't arrive until 6:50, when the server said "oh, your pizza is up too, do you want me to bring it out or wait". I told her to wait rather than just let it cool on the table while we ate the overpriced side salad (a small plate of lettuce and dressing for $8) We went there because we had heard the pizza was good. But if you're going to call your pizza a "meat lover" style pizza, it should have a noticeable amount of meat on it. On the attached pic I had to use arrows to highlight the minimal amount of sausage. The other meats were pretty scarce too. Nothing that I ate or experienced at Salomone's tonight will cause me not to go to The Cloverleaf in the future. Wishing I would have gone there tonight.“
“We stopped in for a late lunch. We were pleasantly surprised the place wasn’t crowded. Ordered the popper hamburger and the angus burger. Both cooked perfectly, one medium rare and one medium. Tater tots were not greasy or overly salted. For a decent lunch and great price point give them a visit.“
“This place is like a blast from the past, something that's increasingly difficult to find. Loved it! Small, clean, friendly, and comfortable. We bowled, enjoyed a pizza and a pitcher of beer, appreciated the positive experience created by a really friendly team of employees, and just had a great time overall!“
“I absolutely love this place. Great drinks, delicious food including salads, and really nice pizzas with a gluten-free crust option that is exceptional. Great atmosphere. But most of all, I love Reagan, the bartender, service person, Person-Who-Does-It-All!! She is GREAT at her job, and makes you feel welcome and at home and like you have a friend. She is the reason we are regulars. :-)“
“I had never heard of this bar before, I started coming when Sheri posted she was working here. I knew her from some other places so I was excited to check out something new and something close to home. We came a few times and really enjoyed the food. We came once when it was Sheri’s day off and the service was horrible. The bar had maybe 2 people, and there were 2 tables occupied. We were told we had to order at the bar. I could see the if it was busy…but why if it was so slow? We have definitely noticed a significant improvement since the previous manager left…not only more people but the people who work here just seem friendlier and the food has improved. My friends and I come often for the tacos on Tuesdays (which are so good) and we are happy to see the place so crowded and doing well!“
“usually this place is awesome. guess I visited on an off day. Craven is amazing but he wasn't here today. my waitress pretty much ignored me opting to help tables with guys. the pizza was flat and she gave me the wrong sauce. I order two meals, one for now, one for later. but not today. her forced smile and brisk manner was off-putting but at least she left me alone in favor of other tables.“
“4/24/24 5 pm food was great. My wife had fish tacos I ate two of them I had hums plate very good lots of food on the plate my wife ate half of it LOL The white and red wine was very good Then service was GREAT we came as a large group. My wife and I will be back here again. I will order the tacos next time. Our group liked the food and service as far as I could guess there was about 40 of us.Jim“
“Probably best pizza ? in Tacoma. Delicate crust and thoughtful high quality toppings make this our time tested favorite.Vegetarian options: It’s pizza so you can mix and match and enjoy.Parking: Street parking. Should be able to find a spot but be ready to walk a block.Kid-friendliness: Casual atmosphere, kiddos (non screaming) would fit right in.“
“We stopped in for dinner before heading to the movies. We had the Prosciutto & arugula pizza & spinach & artichoke dip. Both were really good and we had plenty of leftovers for two people. Service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be back!“
“We lived in the area for almost a decade and we'd come here often. last time we came here was after the remodel. it was super nice. now.... not so much... service was atrocious, no one was friendly at all.. and you have grown adults literally jumping in front of KIDS to play games... kids that were patiently waiting to play... adults walking around barefoot, just being straight up disrespectful, and they just let it happen. we arrived when they first opened and multiple tables were still completely unwashed, and half their sodas were out. Just utterly insane how crap the service was today... extremely disappointed. The guy in the photo in particular is the punk that was jumping in front of kids patiently waiting. My kid being one of em, was walking up to that exact spot and he jumped in and scanned before my kid could. super cucky of him.“
“Came in with my son's basketball team. Everyone was so friendly. Food was tasty. I had ordered a few more pizzas to go, and the lady assumed I don't eat pork (I wear a head covering) so she changed the pizza cutter to a new one to avoid any cross contamination. I didn't even ask. You guys have a new repeat customer from this alone! Thank you“
“Can't rate the food anymore. Had to find another place to get my daily takeout. They changed the best part of my normal meals. Tried it 3 times. Can't get the hang of it. Not for me.I love the people who work there. They were always great to me. So much so they would answer the phone saying hello Kevin. I don't drink so I'm going to miss them & the atmosphere when I did eat in the pub with friends. Thanks for the great run. Anyone who leaves a bad review about service is just having a bad day or just likes to complain about everything. Never had an issue with anyone. Even when super busy they always got it right. Be patient & wait your turn unlike the previous review.“
“Hey, this dude work hard. Can never remember a name but he and his delivery driver were the only ones working and he was able to keep a good demeanor. That's not easy when you're the only one working. Super friendly too, couldnt not give a good review. Keep up the good work. Oh, and great pizza too and flavor “
“Great atmosphere. The area looks great and the patio looks fantastic to sit in during the summer. Food left something to be desired. Both me and my friend felt like our entrees were missing a little something that could've made it fantastic. Alas it fell short. Appetizers were pretty awesome. Our waitress was nice and attentive until the end where we waited almost 30 mins to pay our check.“
“Dexters is such a homey, classic shop. The food is straight forward and delish! It’s a great stop for something filling and lovingly greasy. I also saw a couple people getting just milkshakes so those must be super tasty too! I’m definitely coming back for “
“My family stopped into Sammy's on a whim while on a walk around North Slope. First of all, the restaurant was incredibly clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered a medium pizza (half garlic chicken/half chicken bacon ranch), a small meat lover's pizza, and a house salad with a chipotle ranch dressing. All of the food was excellent, the ingredients fresh, and served within a timely manner. Our family highly recommends this place and we'll definitely be back very soon!!“
“Each week, I buy a family size pizza through the app. Last week I thought I sent the order to the store. When I arrived to pick up my order I discovered it did not go through. The team did a great job of getting my order completed in about 10 minutes.Parking: Small parking lot. Bigger trucks and vans will have a hard time parking. Only one entrance and exit.“
“Two of my most hated jobs. 1. Getting an eye test - I have a fear of failing an eye test. (I actually prayed for the optometrist). 2. Then picking new glasses. Both the Costco Gig Harbor optometrist ( Dr Louie) and Gig Harbor Costco optical were SO amazing. Treanna and Teresa brought out frames that were not on the floor that were immediately perfect for me. ❤ Thank you! I am praying that when they arrive that they will be perfect!“
“I met a new friend here for a quick bite to eat and to get to know each other better. We were so deep in conversation that we forgot to even pick up the menus our server had left, lol. She came to take our order, but we had to sheepishly ask for more time. Rather than being annoyed, our server gave a genuine smile and graciously offered to come back later. We decided on my friend's favorite, pepperoni and pineapple (remarkably good by the way) and it was brought out piping hot and delicious a few minutes later. Our server was very attentive, bringing out drink refills without being asked. She seemed to genuinely enjoy her work, making the experience that much better. We never felt rushed to leave, or like we were taking up valuable space.Overall 5 out of 5 in all categories.Parking: Since we arrived in the late afternoon, there were a good amount of spaces left. I can see how the relatively small lot could be overwhelmed. There appeared to be an underground lot as well, but I wasn't clear on whether it was for the restaurant or not.“
“Enjoyed my Sunday here. Food is absolutely amazing, was a bit of a wait but the quality made up for it. Great ingredients, all fresh, from scratch. Drinks are good, quick reactions from the bartender made it so I was never with an empty glass. This is a hole in the wall spot and a great place for a care free good time.“
“The food and the service was amazing!! My wife is gluten sensitive and they were very accommodating. Several desserts to choose from (even for my gluten sensitive wife). Prices were very reasonable as well. The ambiance was great, with plenty of views of the water. The only downside was the noise level, however we were there on a Friday night and it was extremely busy which I'm sure was part of reason. Will definitely be coming back to this gem!“
“I must say, this is one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant in quite sometime. Upon entry me and my SO were greeted and asked if ee had any questions and to please reach out if so. After looking at the menu we went up to order, even before I could begin my 21 questions about how items are cooked Amanda immediately inquired if I was vegan or vegetarian from my order requested. Amanda was extremely knowledgeable and undeniably thoughtful to take the time out to inform me of how the food is made, cooked, and the ingredients on menu items ect... This came as a huge surprise as I always have to asked so many questions to the individual taking my order, considering I am vegan and do not consume ANY animal products. Amanda, went above and beyond to accommodate my needs with a gracious attitude. When we finally received our food, it was plentiful, and delicious. This has by far been the best service I have ever received at any establishment. I want to genuinely thank Amanda for her exceptional hospitality and thoughtfulness. Not to mention after we wrapped up she stopped me to suggest a few vegan restaurants, that cater to my dietary needs. I may say I do not take this lightly and am grateful for individuals like Amanda that display such care and compassion. Truly thank you to everyone at "Its Greek To Me Tacoma" for such a memorable dining experience.Dietary restrictions: Willing to accommodate“
“Food and service are great. Jenna took very good care of us. She was especially attentive to our son, bringing him pizza dough to play with and suggesting a yummy strawberry lemonade for him to drink. Our pizza was delicious and my Lavender Haze Martini was both beautiful and tasty. Thanks Jenna!!!“
“Today I ordered pizzas from my favorite pizza spot, Mod Pizza at 10427 Gravelly Lake Dr SW, Suite 102, Lakewood, WA 98499. I got all my pizzas home, 4 in total, and dropped one. It flipped out of the box and fell face down on the ground. I called the store and spoke to Natalie. I told he about my dilemma and asked if they do pizza forgiveness like another well-known pizza restaurant. I wouldn’t have been upset if they didn’t. But to my surprise, Natalie graciously agreed to remake/replace the pizza which I had dropped free of charge. I really appreciated her kindness, professionalism and dedication to satisfying the customer even though she didn’t have a responsibility to do so. Thank you, Natalie, and the rest of the team at the Lakewood Town Center Mod Pizza. I’ll Be Back!!!“
“Dave,Kathy, and Olga are/were great friends of mine since 1986!Service is great!Food is greatBeer flows Plentiful and Cold!Pizza is greatSPECIALS are just that! But delicious!Attitudes are welcome!Conviviality cool and demented......what else can one ask for?Check it out@...... ( used to be Great Dane friendly as long as you feed it Fries)Cheers!Ozark; Mike! Lol“
“This place has a wide variety of beer and cider at a reasonable price. It's self service and they have complimentary popcorn which we found to be a really great touch. The atmosphere was perfect. They have shuffleboard and a few other games and plenty of seating.“
“The staff was great, and worked hard all night. But if I can't say naughty words in a bar full of drunk adults having a great time then that's just not the place for me. Shaming me on mic during the song for singing one bad word during karaoke isn't really all that cool. It's pretty embarrassing. Especially when I wasn't warned beforehand. The context of the word wasn't directed at any one person, group of people or even had any sort of negative connotation. I could understand if the song was raunchy or inappropriate. It was actually an expression on how well the person singing the song could play guitar. We won't be back for karaoke.“
“Great food and awesome locally owned family business! I expected the wait to be longer on opening night with every table packed, but the service was good and shorter wait times than expected! I had the gnocchi and it was amazing! The Fundido app was also awesome“
“Great Food and Great service! Quiet and relaxing spot to enjoy some good food. I had the calzone and fettuccine as well as the garlic bread and Caesar salad everything was presented very well. Our server Skip was top notch very friendly and recommended the chefs choice. you gotta try this place if you're in the area!“
“Been coming to this location for years...it's great. Placed an online order today and it was ready in ten minutes. When I arrived, there were five young people working and churning out the pizzas. They were polite, working hard, and clearly having fun. Don't see that very often. Anyway, great place!“
“Everytime I've been here, I've never had an issue. The workers are amazing, fast and friendly. The place is always clean. Outside can get messy here and there, but I honestly expect that with Pacific avenue. The messes are at no fault of the staff or the owner! People are just rude and dump garbage sometimes :( The pizza is always made to perfection (you do still have to cook it at home lol) but I love this location. Right now, it's the closest location. But I will literally keep coming here after I move to Lakewood. YALL ROCK!!!!!! Never stop being amazing people!!!!!!“
“An absolute gem! Great food served by a friendly and knowledgeable staff. I lived in Tacoma for 20 years, but have been away for 23 years. Now back in the area, we went back to our old favorites. The so-called fine dining, well established restaurants we used to enjoy have really gone downhill! So disappointing. So glad I found Macaluso’s to celebrate our anniversary. Great food, fantastic staff that really work at serving their guests to make it an enjoyable event. Special thanks to James and Johnny! It was a pleasure to meet the owners who came to greet us at our table. We will be back! Highly recommend it.“
