“Food is really good, well-priced, and plentiful. It's far enough away from Market to have plenty of parking around. It was cold but they had a couple of nice heaters to sit under - they could use a few more probably. Strongly recommend!“
“Bongos is a fusion style restaurant serving unique dishes from a few different nationalities. I ordered the gumbo and the jerk chicken plate. The gumbo was tasty but definitely not southern style as expected. The jerk chicken breast was super juicy ? but I found it lacked flavour. The value for food here is really good.I have to mention that all dishes are being served in plastic containers and cutlery that are not even being recycled, this is horrible. Serve your customers some real plates and metal utensils, I can't even imagine the amount of waste coming out of here. Get it together!“

“Excellent Cuban restaurant that has been consistently dishing out quality dishes for many years. It is rare to see such consistent quality over such a long time. Service is also excellent and even though since the pandemic they are short staffed at times, they have remained patient and top notch.In the food menu the sandwiches are very well executed and popular as are the Empanadas, but the main dishes are the ones which kick it all out of the park.“
“We came for dinner tonight and we were greeted with the welcoming staff and their smiles. That set the stage for the evening. We started off with virgin mojito. It was refreshing and tasty. Then we ordered the mojito platter for appetizer which included the yucca fries, tostones and fried plantains. For entrees we had camarones Carmen Miranda, vaca frita and pescado mojito. Every single dish we tried were so perfectly seasoned, beautifully plated and delicious. You can tell that each dish is made with love. The flavors in each dish will remind you of a destination so far away, a culture represented in its food. We finished off our meal with the desserts, quesillo and tres leches. Both were delicious as well. I highly recommend this place. We will be back to try the rest of the dishes in their menu. This is a hidden gem. Luam, the owner is an amazing host, he’s the owner. He made sure that we had an unforgettable dining experience.“
