“Solid brunch experience with delicious food and reasonable (by Seattle standards) prices. The menu features classic dishes with fresh, local ingredients, and our meals were well-prepared and flavorful.
We got an omelette, pork schnitzel, and cornmeal pancake. It was all very good!
However, our experience was slightly dampened (literally!) by the weather. Due to limited indoor seating, we were seated outside on a chilly and rainy Seattle morning. While the covered patio offered some protection and the heater offered some warmth, it was still quite cold, which detracted from the overall ambiance and enjoyment of the meal. At least the coffee was hot!
Despite the less-than-ideal weather conditions, the quality of the food and service at Harry's Fine Foods makes it a worthwhile dining destination. Just remember to dress warmly and hope for sunshine!“

“Order at the door and the seat you. Party of 6 or more they auto charge gratuity incase you aren’t anticipating it. Food is great. They don’t come to check on you but probably due to covid/social distancing. Easy atmosphere. Parking is very limited so be prepared.“
“We went in on the evening of August 31, 2024. The staff member on duty was very friendly, and unbelievably knowledgeable about the beers on tap, explaining the ones we chose very easily. The beers themselves were beyond amazing! The music selection was also incredible (assuming you enjoy heavy metal, like we do). Both my girlfriend and I loved this brewery, and will be adding it to our list of breweries to visit in Seattle! Holy Mountain is fully worth the trip from Calgary!“

“After living across from Copine for nearly a year, and then moving, we finally made a reservation, and it definitely lived up to its reputation. The restaurant’s intimate, refined atmosphere is complemented by attentive, knowledgeable service. From the amuse (not pictured) to dessert, every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. Overall, the combination of exquisite food and impeccable service makes Copine a must-visit in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood. We’ll definitely be returning.
Parking: Parking is located in the lower level of the building, entry on 64th.“

“We found this 100% plant based restaurant on Happy Cow. Based upon the reviews, we could not pass up visiting. Since we had to drive into the city, parking was difficult but we finally found paid parking on the street. We visited after the lunch crowd but the restaurant was still very busy with eat in and take out dinners. We had the Chips & Guacamole and Avocado Burrito (asada or satan). The meal was excellent and very filling. If back in the area, we would definitely visit again.“

“Your food and drinks are amazing! Had a burger with a BUN for the first time in a VERY long time! I'd pretty much given up on gluten free buns. The peach sour and the beer was delish! Felt so good to know I could eat anything on the menu and not worry about any cross contamination!“

“We had an amazing dinner at a specialty pizza restaurant in Seattle named Sunny Hill. It’s a little hole in the wall that has the best Pizza and appetizers in Washington. If you’re ever in the area, make sure to check it out. It was so good to be with the family and finish up some details for today’s big event.“

“Nicely traditional, extremely busy, and almost perfect.
One hour before closing on a weekday we still had to wait almost 30 minutes. It's not the biggest restaurant and it's very popular. Definitely worth a try but it can get kind of expensive at almost 30 bucks per meal.
Kurobuta Oroshi Katsu: GET!
The pork is soooooo juicy it's some of the best tonkatsu you'll ever have. The sides are very fun to give it some contrast. Play around with the sauces on your pork and salad too
Katsu Curry: Skip
The pork itself is delicious as above but the curry missed its mark by so much.... I would have loved to give this restaurant 5 stars but this curry was so lack luster I just can't. It was quite plain and flat. We couldn't finish it.
Food: 8/10
Service: 6/10

“Came for Happy Hour alone and decided to order each item from the bar menu and had myself a tasting menu. It was plenty of food... I really should have stopped at 3 or 4 HH portions. I highly recommend the garlic prawns, the chili cumin pork ribs, the duck spring rolls, and the tomato salad (with the salted egg). The bartender also poured me two exquisite cocktails... a sidecar and then a paloma. Yum!“

“How special to get to experience one of the oldest Japanese restaurants in the country! Wonderful, classic Japanese dishes I’ve had a hard time finding in other parts of the US. Jean Nakayama (I think) was so kind and squeezed us in as walk-ins.“

“My sister and her husband were visiting and they wanted to try a local eatery, we chose Marination. The food is always consistent. Port Katsu sandwich was spectacular! The Aloha Fries with an egg on top is a perfect combination. The Street Tacos were devoured, two thumbs up from my sister and her husband. The service was great, thoroughly enjoyed talking with the bartender. The seating can be tough in the winter months. Outdoor seating has no heaters, tent shelters you from the rain. Indoor seating is limited, but the turnover is quick. Takeout from Marination is very convenient, parking for pick-ups almost at the front door.
Parking: Sometimes you get lucky and find a spot in the parking lot. If not, drive down to the boat launch and on the south side of the launch is parking. The walk to the restaurant is a couple blocks away. It's worth burning a couple calories.“

“Really good. I got the carnitas plate. The pork was delicate, slow cooked, and not over trimmed. Our friend The pig is not a slim fellow, and Mexican food uses the whole thing. The crowd and staff are largely Mexican. Very friendly clean place. Not fancy. Very well priced for what you get compared with the usual Seattle prices. I love it and I learned Mexican food in Mexico. Legitimate carniceria. They have the homade Mexican drinks (rice, hibiscus, guava, and the red one that is kind of salty), and the condiments table. But they did not have the pickled onions and carrots. Of course it's family oriented, and of course there is Mexican soccer on the giant screens. I will come back and try their fried fish plate (whole tilapia).“

“Do yourself a favor — EAT AT LOTUS POND. (1) Carpool to Lotus Pond. The more the merrier. (2) Appetizers: You can’t lose. Everything is good. Me? I eat the Imperial Rolls. Get two orders of the egg rolls aka Imperial Rolls — one order won’t be enough for 2 people. Start there, you’ll be very happy. Also order the pork belly on the skewers please, No regrets. It’s very good. (3) Noodle Soups. Every bowl Is a winner. Pho is great, no question there. However, you absolutely must eat the SEAFOOD with special Red Noodle. (4) Early enough during the day, drink the Viet Ice Coffee. (5) Too bad they don’t have enough staff/hands to make the BANH CUON but they make up for it in many ways. Try everything on the menu. I’m not a relative. I don’t get money or fame for recommending Lotus Pond. I just know authentic good food when I see and eat it. Try it. You will leave with a full, joyous stomach … you will be very satisfied. Happy eating!“

“Bummer, been going for years to all of her restaurants. Food is excellent, ambiance is five stars. However, for the first time I felt very unwelcome here. My server couldn’t get me outta there faster. I had two kids with me, but they didn’t act up or anything and we had a 5.15 seating. Our server asked me for my whole order with drinks, and when dinner was over asked me if I wanted my check before she asked about dessert. I literally started thinking “do I know her from somewhere else? And does she not like me for some reason?” I had to ask for my dessert to go, as it felt like she didn’t want me to eat it there. Restaurant wasn’t even full when we left. Will put some space between me and whale wins for a while 😥“

Please order the coconut shake and the passion fruit green tea. Wow wow wow! We will be back for my birthday with our friends!“

We were so warmly welcomed, treated to complimentary bubbles, had the kindest people serving us and all of the food was delicious. This will now be our anniversary tradition. Thank you, Il Nido!“
