“Absolutely wonderful restaurant for vegans and vegetarians alike. Very cute and open atmosphere. Service was super friendly and responsive. The food though... The food was incredible. The fall soup was out of this world and the artichoke dip is to die for.Very highly recommended!Vegetarian options: Everything was vegetarian with about half the menu being vegan friendly.Parking: Small lot right next to the building. It's on the opposite side of the main entrance, but there's a door to walk in to the building from the back.“
“Deliciously spiced (not picante) food of obvious high quality for very reasonable prices. Don’t miss the best chocolate mousse in Seattle, although the firni is also an excellent choice. Very good wine list, locally owned, elegant atmosphere, delightful host.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Easy to eat gluten free“
“Such a gem! We celebrated our friends birthday here and the staff was so generous and kind. The food was delicious and atmosphere was lovely. A really special spot that even non-vegans will love. Mango sticky rice and mango salad were especially delicious. Tom Kha was delicious as well. Accommodating for gluten allergies.“
“This is the best thai restaurant in Seattle. The quality of the ingredients and the cleanliness of the restaurant are unmatched. We order at least 3 times a week, great selection of menu. Super hard working and kind employees. Thank you for all your hard work keeping this place a Seattle “
“I love the coffee and pastries. I haven,'t had any other food but from my limited experience, I would guess it is equally goodI am from Oregon, but I am fortunate that my daughter lives around the corner from Redwing and I frequent Redwing when I visit my daughter.“
“No indoor seating no problem. Royal grindersPatiently and expertly explains what separates them from the standard deli experience. 13.49 seems to be the favorable pricePoint for each item on their menu, and if you’re comfortable waiting the 16 minutes for your sandwich combination then the outdoor seating is more than sufficient. Extremely friendly to the vegan crowd, and a warm welcome for a city that needs more hot sandwich items“
“Incredible! I love a tasting menu, and these guys delivered. I loved the unexpected combination of techniques and ingredients, and the non alcoholic pairings made it so none of us felt left out of any part of the experience. They accommodated my groups many allergies like pros. Absolutely delightful, I would love to come back.“
“I was so excited to try this place out and it didn't disappoint as a brunch spot. We came on that one Saturday when it was super nice out, and opted to sit outside. The wait staff were nice as well. We had the biscuit sandwich and the brunch board to share and they were both good! I only wished that it came with more bread because we ran out pretty quickly. I came a second time for happy hour but was disappointed that their happy hour was pricing more or less as regular time. We got a board for happy hour and had the corona bean & fennel, whipped avo spread, and crispy yam mochi. All were good but I highly rec the corona bean & fennel! This time, my friend asked if we could have more bread to go with our platter and they kinda gave us some. Not sure if that's the norm or if it's because it's happy hour! TLDR: I'd come back for brunch!“
“I used to frequent this place often for their vegetarian food. Recently, I revisited and discovered that it's been under new management for the past four years. They've remodeled the interior and made some improvements. The place looks much nicer than before, and they have an entirely new menu. The staff were friendly but a bit slow. The food is still pretty good, although the prices have increased significantly. They now offer longer hours than before. Overall, it remains a great spot for Vietnamese vegetarian cuisine.“
“Stopped by on our way out of town. Our normal stop was not sitting guests unexpectedly. A quick google search and we found this place a scant few blocks from where we were. Small wait, staff was super considerate to those waiting. Food was more than worth the wait. Ate our fill and then some. Next time we are in town we will find a way to make this into our rotation #vegan #vegetarian“
“it wasn't too bad I got a tuna melt and I guess they used pea protein I wish they would start using like maybe mushrooms or garbanzo beans or something and then I had the hot wings those were good if they were like cooked a little bit harder and not so soft and mushy I just put them in my oven and made them a little bit harder but all the way around it was pretty good“
“I have been several times before, but I decided to purchase a ticket to the February supper club and it was incredible! Chef Sara’s knowledge and expert use of local seasonal produce truly shines in all her menus, whether that is her evolving brunch menu or her seasonal supper club events. I highly recommend the tartine, a cocktail from the bartender/barista Lucy, and the gluten free French toast!Dietary restrictions: Options for gluten free and vegan“
“First time eating here. Ordered vegan bento box, empanada and corn soup.Well packaged. You can tell they take care. I'd probably replace the containers for the soup b/c they disintegrate and lose form through during delivery trips. I know someone else complained about the use of plastic for soup (or sauce?) though so. I understand. Can't please everyone.Saving the soup for later but so far the food has been delicioussss. I usually find beans boring but these were well salted. Even my meat-substitute hating partner enjoyed my food. We've agreed to order together soon.“
“I love this place. They are the best. I've tried other places and they don't compare. I am sad that they are a little further from me (use to be in downtown Renton) but I still make the drive over. No one else's elotes and mangonadas are as good as theirs.“
“They are amazing. Food is good and warm, different variety every time. workers super nice and work very hard. Hot tea with cloves always warm in the winter! and not too big or too small of a portion so it doesn’t go cold. Tips for new comers, bring a bag (plastic or tote) to carry the food box easier and don’t go right when they get there, half an hour later to make sure they are actually there as their timing varies. Lastly bring a cash tip for their tip box if you are able :)“
“Hidden gem in a city with lots of great Thai options. The Tom Kha is some of the most flavorful I’ve had anywhere. The garlic chicken is perfectly crispy. All the curries were wonderful. The condiment tray was on point and service was excellent.“
“I got the chicken banh mi, which was delicious. The pickled vegetables were crisp, and the the flavors were really balanced, so I could enjoy all of them. When my food was ready, a person from the restaurant called me to let me know, and they were very polite. I was in a rush, so I couldn't get a good sense of the atmosphere of the restaurant, but it seemed pleasant, and I certainly plan on going back to dine in when I can.“
“We have been coming here for years and Shanghai Garden is always excellent. Great for large parties of people. We ordered about 12 dishes for 10 very hungry people and every dish was excellent. It was about $25 per person, so the price was normal for Seattle. The eggplant, the hand shaved barley noodles and the orange chicken were excellent. We will keep coming back.“
“Finally some perfect drip! Reminds me of why I actually like coffee. The vegan peach ginger scone is as scrumptious as it sounds. Spacious seating - enough for a DD spread, cozy sofas and seats worthy of the kings of nerds, never want to leave. Xoxo (Restroom wall convos not necessarily the views of the shop, I am sure.)“
“This place looks like nothing to do from the parking lot. Then you walk in and it smells like the pizza place next door, but just laugh keep walking. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and the staff is so attentive. I am not going to recommend anything because you can't go wrong here. If you are a vegetarian you will be thrilled at the selection and depth of flavor. If you are not a vegetarian I will bet you may not even notice there is no meat. I am a pescatarian-somewhere in the middle and I was so happy. They lost a star from me because they never seem to actually use the five star scale for suggested spiciness. I can never get enough heat. I suppose one could add it in but that never does it for me. Not enough to keep me away.“
“Maya's catered our wedding and they were SPECTACULAR. Went above and beyond to give our 100 guests a really great dinner. We ordered a variety of tacos and fajitas, and they had the thought to include cheese enchiladas for any vegetarians. We had compliments from everyone about how good the food was! We have friends from up in Shoreline that have driven down to the Rainier Ave location to get dinner since the wedding! The setup was all very nice, and the staff set up the cutest tortilla chip basket waterfall, helped serve dinner, and even helped clean up and pack up the leftovers for us.They were easy to work with, priced fairly, and the food and service was excellent. Highly recommended!!“
“This location ROCKS! They are lightning-fast, getting my order ready at the last minute for a meeting I have going on. Another caterer failed to show up, so I needed to find something fast! They got four salads ready in less than 10 minutes for me. I appreciate the quick and friendly service. When you get good service, I believe in telling people. Not only is the service outstanding, but the salads are also amazing! They have a great selection of salads and delicious wraps, and the serving sizes are enormous. I highly recommend this location!“
“I had a hard time deciding what to order from the menu because everything sounded so amazing. Went with the Albuquerque crunch wrap and it surpassed any expectations I could have had for it. I’m sure the rest of the menu follows suit. Highly recommend trying this place“
