“3.5 Stars Trendy cafe with eclectic decor (fake plants, cartoons, selfie booth,Taylor Swift cardboard cutout (?) ). They did an incredible job on the branding (coolest logo ever)! The Banh Mih Dip ($15) was super tasty, thought it was priced a tad on the high side for the size. Unfortunately, that specific day I was also hoping it would be a healthier option than it was but ah well lol, gotta live. The description said it would have a slathering of pate (I love pate) but it really was more mayo heavy if anything (was the pate forgotten? hmm). It was delicious dipped in the broth (the soft crispy baguette soaks it up). Sort of reminded me of a cheesesteak. Really messy to eat. The brisket was on the fatty side, which I prefer - yum! BF got the chicken vermicelli bowl ($17) which he enjoyed. They are very busy, limited seating inside. Located in pioneer square. Order a the counter and the staff bring your order out with a smile :)“

“I visited this speakeasy on a Friday night with my husband on recommendation from friends. It is a very small place and mostly seatings are around the bar. Didn’t sound appealing to me but believe me it was fun! I would recommend going in small group of 2 or max 4. I don’t think they accept reservations but we got a table within 10 mins of putting our names. The drinks are amazing! Very flavorful and well made! I loved the dua dua coconut if you are a coffee fan you must try the ca phi tini! Cooling water is also refreshing. In terms of food, we had pho which is made in pho bac downstairs. We also had the tofu rolls and the broccoli cheese dip. My only critic is that the dip came in much later and we were full from the pho so couldn’t do justice with the dip. It was pretty cheesy and heavy. Overall fun time proof being I forgot to click pictures of the drinks ;)“

“Do yourself a favor — EAT AT LOTUS POND. (1) Carpool to Lotus Pond. The more the merrier. (2) Appetizers: You can’t lose. Everything is good. Me? I eat the Imperial Rolls. Get two orders of the egg rolls aka Imperial Rolls — one order won’t be enough for 2 people. Start there, you’ll be very happy. Also order the pork belly on the skewers please, No regrets. It’s very good. (3) Noodle Soups. Every bowl Is a winner. Pho is great, no question there. However, you absolutely must eat the SEAFOOD with special Red Noodle. (4) Early enough during the day, drink the Viet Ice Coffee. (5) Too bad they don’t have enough staff/hands to make the BANH CUON but they make up for it in many ways. Try everything on the menu. I’m not a relative. I don’t get money or fame for recommending Lotus Pond. I just know authentic good food when I see and eat it. Try it. You will leave with a full, joyous stomach … you will be very satisfied. Happy eating!“

“pro: grill pork rice the grill pork was soft not so dry like other places. the egg was ok. the soy sauce was excellent. the salad ok. avocado smoothie not too sweet was good the grill pork sandwich is nice but not as good as the rice. I didn't like the combination sandwich. the bread itself was nice not too dry and the meats were a lot but i just didn't like what meats were used. overall if im in the area ill be stopping by. I think they are a nice little sandwich made fresh. it is just i seem to only like very few thing on the menu. recently their price changed since I last visit a year ago. but i don't really mind since i know they use a lot of meats in their sandwich.“

“Delicious food including some dishes not available at other Seattle Vietnamese restaurants, such as the amazing Pho Sate. As a celiac, I felt safe eating there as the servers were thorough in identifying items that are cooked in the shared fryer and this aren’t safe for celiac eaters. (They mentioned they plan to purchase a separate fryer in a few months so that their many gluten free apps can be eaten by celiacs.)The restaurant was also very kid friendly. We will be back soon!“

“My partner chose Stateside for his birthday dinner, and it was all around an excellent experience! Ambiance is modern, clean, and not stuffy at all. You'd feel just as comfortable in athleisure as you would in dressy cocktail attire here. Staff was welcoming and extremely knowledgeable, and paced the meal perfectly. We started out with a cocktail each--I can't recall the names as their website cocktail menu does not match what we saw, but my partner had a mule with lime leaf and galangal that was absolutely spectacular. The lime leaf and galangal made my palate SING and it was hands down the best iteration of a mule we've ever had. Now the most important part: FOOD. CRISPY DUCK FRESH ROLLS | Y'all weren't playing, this was the GOAT, and by far our favorite dish. It was texturally perfect, and I do not throw that description around lightly. The crispness of the spring roll inside a fresh roll!? Absolutely genius. I will say that my Korean American palate registered the seasoning on this as just barely teetering on a tiny bit oversalted side (esp with the accompanying dipping sauce), but the texture was so divine that I really can't dock it. STICKY RICE DUMPLINGS | A deconstructed dumpling, really. The rice dumpling on its own would have been nothing to write home about, but the combination of everything (ethereally fluffy dungeness crab! earthy maitake! perfectly cooked taro!) with the broth made it all work so well, especially texturally. The broth was basically buttery liquid gold. MASTER STOCK CRISPY CHICKEN | This was perfectly good chicken, but I can't say it was that memorable as a whole. We ordered a side of the brussel sprouts which were delicious (again, texture was on point with the rice cracker pieces) as well as the ginger rice to go along with this, and I have to say the brussel sprouts were far more memorable. Superb texture really seemed to be the central theme of our dinner, so while I'd really recommend Stateside to everyone, I'd ESPECIALLY recommend it for those who have an extra appreciation for textural masterpieces.“

“Randomly stopped in to meet friends. So beyond impressed. Everything was outstanding. The food, the service, the drinks, the atmosphere, and did I mention the service. John was by far the best bartender I have ever met. I mean that in all sincerity. Next time I’m in Seattle I’ll be stopping in !“

“10/9/2021 Recommend? Yes. I arrived right after they open with my luggage because I was starving from my long train ride in from Whitefish, MT. The server was super nice. He got me hot tea and banh cam to settle in with. I ordered bo bia (autumn rolls), vegan pho, and roasted pork banh mi (to go). The banh cam had a thick dough and it was huge. Two of those could've been a whole meal. Everything I ordered was delicious and they were so kind! My favorite was definitely the banh mi. It was even good after I had refridgerated it. The best part was the vegan butter and vegan pate. I absolutely loved it, best vegan banh mi I've had.“

“I never leave reviews but I’ve become a weekly regular with what I like to call “pho Friday” and this place deserves a lot of love. I’ve tried a lot of pho places in Seattle but aside from this one being one of the few closest to me, it’s also the best. The owner is extremely sweet and welcoming and just has such a happy aura. The staff is also really nice and quickly learned my order after just a few visits. But in terms of food it really is my favorite; they give you a lot of meat and noodles, and the broth is probably the best broth I have had, it’s extremely flavorful!“

“The food is quite good, but the price is not.I've been here 3-4 times and every time I've been happy with what I got. Unfortunately the price is insanely high for anything on the menu except the banh mi, which is still expensive but comparatively a good deal with everything else. $20+ for a bowl of pho is just unbelievable. The only time I go here is when someone else is buying, which is a shame cuz the food is actually really good and I'd go way more often if it was affordable.“

“Pho Bac Soup Shop in Seattle offers a taste of authentic Vietnamese cuisine with their flavorful and comforting bowls of pho. “You can't go wrong with PHO! The pho was very good especially their broth. I always get a meatball pho and their meatballs were the perfect size and texture. At some other restaurants, i experience eating very hard or dense meatballs which is not to my liking. But Lucky's has great pho choices! In addition to their pho, I really enjoyed their iced Vietnamese coffee. The restaurant is semi-spacious. How their restaurant works is that you will order and will seat yourself. There is a cart for self-serve water and bar area to grab your own ingredients for your pho. A great pho restaurant in fremont!“

“Forgot to take a pic because i devoured my bahn mi right away. First time here. - I got the cold cuts sandwich. Veggies were crispy and almost vinegary enough for my kraut taste buds :P the baguette was light and crunchy as it should be! I had never had a proper cold cuts + pate Bahn mi before but the pate, oh man!! Changed my standards. I also got a condensed milk coffee which was good and strong. Always nice to find a semi affordable and quick lunch spot near work. I also appreciate them being open at 11!“

“Was right across the street from our airbnb so we opted to do take out for a quick dinner. Seems like a local place run by a Viet couple One of the better pho I've had as far as takeout, in regards to flavor. Broth was a bit on the saltier side so I diluted with boiled water. But otherwise, the meats were solid and came with a nice amount of bean sprouts, which I love. Main gripe is that we ordered a large and I'm not sure I would even call it a medium.“

“I loved this place! I really enjoyed my egg noodle soup - the eggs noodles were nicely chewy and the broth was very clean with nice herbs. You get a half chicken per order, which has strong garlic and fish sauce - mine could have been a bit crispier but it was a busy friday night so I understand. I NEVER order waffles willingly but my sister highly recommended the pandan waffles and this was the best thing I had here!!! Cant stop thinking about the whipped salty peanut coconut cream and the waffles had a mochi texture in the middle. yummmmm :)“

“We went for the first time and the owner was so kind and helpful. The KFC is superb and incredibly crunchy even after taking the leftovers home. The two dips we got on the side were house sauce and soy garlic. Both were great flavor contrasts. The pickled daikon really helped cut the fat. The decorations were very modern. I appreciated the decoration. It was nice icing on the cake but the food and the owners genuinity are what really makes this place a top notch restaurant. She should be super proud of what she's done.“

“Highly impressed with the service here. Not only were they super quick, they filled our water regularly, and they were nice-- the holy trinity. Seems like they have regulars too, I heard them asking another table how they have been. And of course, the food was good too. Nice broth, good portion size, and they had good standard Vietnamese dishes and soups. Will definitely be back.“

“Overall Thoughts: This takeout only spot in Seattle’s Little Saigon is small but quite chaotic with workers buzzing around you and a busy line usually forming around lunch. For $6, the banh mis are very solid and hit the spot; the bread is fresh and flakey. They also have a large selection of packaged foods and hot lunch boxes, which all looked delicious. The service is quick and efficient with no frills. They accept both card and cash.Food I tried:- Roasted pork belly banh mi (4.5/5): The pork belly was really fatty, but flavorful and delicious. The ratios of bread to pork to veggies were good.- Three kinds of ham banh mi (4.4/5): The pate was creamy and the cold cuts were tasty; this is a classic that you can’t go wrong with.- Banh cuon - prepackaged (4.4/5): Tasted good; its soft and delicate texture paired nicely with the crispy shallot toppings and delicious sauce.—Price (relative to peers): 4.6/5Food: 4.4/5Ambience: N/AService: 4.5/5Overall Value: 4.5/5“

“Tried this place both as a dine-in and take-out customer -- it's a good choice either way. The pho broth is flavorful and comforting, the curry is really nice and savory, and the banh mi (available only at lunch) is my constant craving. Earthy decorations give this restaurant a cozy ambiance that matches the food, and the Vietnamese coffee is wonderfully sweet and sooooo caffeinated. Highly recommend!“

“Super good! New owners, took our orders fast, brought out the food fast, amazing food and taste. Portions are worth the price as well! Super good stuff and I took advantage of their 20 percent off sale for their grand opening! 10 outta 10 for sure, will be back soon! “Best tofu bahn mi ever and it was only $7. Someone slashed my car tire so I was next door at Express Tires getting it replaced at lunchtime. They recommended this place. Initially I walked in and out cuz I didn't see any veggie options. After consulting Yelp, I realized I missed the tofu bahn mi. Tofu was warm and flavorful, veggies were fresh and crisp, bread was nicely toasted. No photos cuz I ate the whole thing too quickly.“

“If they have words for how incredible this food was they have not been uttered yet! Mind Blown!!!!! Came up from Portland, OR to visit a family member who is ill and stumbled upon this restaurant. “It's always consistent. It's a hole in the wall but tables are always clean. It's in a old building strip. Been going here for over 8-10 years. Beansprouts, lettuce & banana blossoms are always fresh & crunchy. Taste of broth & noodles are always on point. Always super packed on weekends esp. Sunday for lunch. Hope Seattle gets cleaned up so they can stay open longer in the evenings.“

“Places like this are genius. You order at a kiosk so it's perfect for introverts. The food is absolutely delicious. Their pho broth is scrumptious. Their pho tater tots and egg rolls are also yummy. “Really good Pho, located a bit north of downtown Seattle. April 29 has special significance for my brother and me, so I wanted to go to this restaurant whose name I liked (Anh means 'intellectual, bright' in Vietnamese) on that day. After visiting Pike's Market, we took the 25 minute walk to Pho Viet Anh around 7:10, 50 minutes before it closed. It was still fairly busy inside, but we were able to get a seat for 2 once it was cleaned. The two gentlemen inside were not particularly friendly, but the place was very modern and the reviews for their beef noodle soup made me want to try it. We figured 50 minutes was enough time to eat, and I wanted to try other things on the menu too. My brother was game. First was the crispy pork & shrimp rolls ($6.5). It was two small spring rolls, deep fried for a long time. Very crispy...couldn't really taste anything of what is inside. Second, 4 chicken wings, vietnamese-style. ($7). It came with a generic sweet and sour dipping sauce. The pieces were decent size, and very crispy. I misread the menu thinking it was 6 pieces (which would have been a real value). Third. My brother asked the waiter what was a must-have on the menu. The waiter gave a generic answer of beef short ribs ($5), 2 pieces of LA-style Kalbi in a decent teriyaki inspired sauce. The pieces were small and grisly, but actually a good deal. I ordered some steamed rice to go with it ($2.5), which was a good choice. Fourth. Two big bowls of Pho. They only come in one size, and it translated to what a large would be in most places. My brother got the Combo (steak, brisket, fatty flank, and meatball for $17). I got the King special (steak, brisket, fatty flank, meatball, tendon, tripe for $19). Both had plenty of meat, though wish they gave more toppings (just basil and bean sprouts with a slice of jalapeno and lime. The broth was good, a slight sweetness and not oily. The oiliness of Pho will often cause me gastro problems, but surprisingly, my stomach felt OK as we walked over to the Pier. It was a good dinner for this special occasion, and really enjoyed spending this last day of our trip with my brother.“

“Finally a place that serves more unique Vietnamese dishes beyond the more commonly known pho, rice noodle bowls and fresh rolls! Love that I can get Bun cha Ha Noi, Bahn Beo and Banh Cuon! Atmosphere is simple and I wouldn’t give the service 5 stars, but I didn’t go there expecting perfection in these areas. I went for the food, and it is solid! Definitely a place to come if you’re wanting to try some new Vietnamese dishes you can’t find elsewhere.“

“Went here for lunch w/my husband and a friend. We hadn't been here in several years, since before the pandemic and wondered what it'd be like. But everything, from the decor/ambiance, to the service and food, was fabulous, just as we had remembered! For an appetizer, we ordered Spring Rolls with steamed prawns and pork slices. It was such a good combination of flavors and the dipping sauce was so good I saved it to pour on my main dish, Chili Lemongrass Chicken Noodles. That dish was equally tasty and the portion size was huge. Also - my Mojito was excellent; they didn't skimp on the alcohol and the flavors of the fresh mint really came through. We'll definitely go back and highly recommend coming here!“

“I used to frequent this place often for their vegetarian food. Recently, I revisited and discovered that it's been under new management for the past four years. They've remodeled the interior and made some improvements. The place looks much nicer than before, and they have an entirely new menu. The staff were friendly but a bit slow. “This is a small coffee shop attached to a creative space and has limited seating. Love the celebration of culture here. You will find a menu of Vietnamese coffee creations that aren't super common. We got the cà phê lá dúa (pandan condensed milk) hot. Pretty smooth, very light pandan flavor, and you still taste the dark, roasted coffee bean flavor. And they used this really cool Hermann cup design that hot drinks don't need a cup sleeve.“
