This is NOT your average texmex or southwestern influenced Mexican food, this is the closest to traditional that I've tasted for a while.

The food is really good and portions are really good also. Not everything needs to be spiced to within an inch of is life to be good food.

I am putting this place on my list of where to stop for great food when you're hungry.”

“WORST NIGHT EVER My boyfriend and I ate there yesterday. The server made me very uncomfortable talking about my perfume and the way he looked at me when he talked about a woman he once dated with my same scent. It was completely inappropriate and extremely creepy. The food was mediocre at best, but the fried rice was brown and not because it was supposed to be. It made my boyfriend super sick. The oil/flattop grill has to be filthy for it to be that dark. His stomach pains/nausea are proof that AK’s kitchen standards are low. I got the combination dinner #9 and it made me violently vomit later on. I will be sure to continue telling everyone I know to NEVER give them another penny.”

Currently I am the Chair of the Eastern Washington Veterans Task Force our groups serves veterans and military connected throughout Eastern Washington and we meet monthly to connect and discuss how we can best serve the Veterans in Eastern Washington, Inland NW, and North Idaho. Taqueria Guerrero agreed to be on site for our August meeting, the food was amazing and the experience was top of the line. They stayed even longer to serve the SFD that were co located on the same campus where we had our meeting to make sure that any if any of our SFD folks needed lunch they would be available to serve them as well. Ricardo never even hesitated attending when we contacted them to see if they would consider attending our meeting. Even when I could not give him a head count as to how many I could guarantee would be having lunch. We completely understood that in our current economic situation that could be a deal breaker and he said he still would be willing to attend. Ricardo, you represent what is great about our community and our local small business owners that are doing it right when it is such hard work day in day out. We as an organization will make sure to do our part to help and support business such as Taqueria Guerrero with in our veteran and military community and even my personal circles. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Food is amazing, customer service was some of the best I have experienced and worked with. “Oh man. This place is a hidden gem! I have driven by this place so many times. We finally stopped in and was floored by the prices, service, and quality. We were greeted with a smile and was offered suggestions on what to get, our food came quickly and tasted amazing! The owners genuinely care about their customers, we witnessed multiple acts of service that went above and beyond just a sanwhich shop, the employees opened doors for the older customers that came in, filled and brought drinks to their tables, and helped them out of their seat. Way to go Casey's place! You are incredible!”

“We have always gone here for the mini birthday cakes for 1-2 people. Well I contacted them (1 and a half days before event) if they could do a large version of it. They did exactly that!! It was to die for. I could have left it out of fridge a tiny bit longer before the event as the inside was pretty cold and stiff still but the looks (I asked for simple because my husband is a simple kinda guy lol) and the taste were perfect. I am eating a leftover piece now and can’t get over how freaking good it is. Also, I am a chocolate, cake, and sugar lover so i eat LARGE pieces of cake but it really is so sweet and filling that you really only can do small pieces. So was told it would feed about 16-20 guests and it fed probably 25 and still have leftovers :)”

Jake and Clay are two very classy individuals with so much appreciation and care for their customers! The food is outstanding, the service is incredible and the greeting and respect is amazing! We all ordered the Tomato soup and Grilled Cheese, which is incredible! Jake offered the Bread Pudding for a dessert,(neither Lilly or Ryker enjoy Bread Pudding) and I accepted the offer. “I used to love this place. now the only reason to go here is for the cars in the summer. I had not gone to rons for months because the food has gone down hill and they didn't seem to be able to get an order complete. i gave them another shot sunday and nothing has changes. they stuffed all the food in one bag so we couldn't tell what was in the bag. got home and my kids burger was missing. by the time we went all the way back to get the burger, and them home again, all the rest of the food was cold. all we were trying to do was have a good lunch with my kid before she went to her moms, our mistake was picking rons for food. a mistake I wont make ever again. with so many other good local burger joints in the close vicinity, you would think rons would at least attempt to have good customer service or good food. instead the food is less than worth it and the employees could care less about the food or the customers.”

“Please don’t drive past this place!!! It’s an unassuming little place in a strip mall on the way to the Spokane valley mall for me. This is without a doubt one of the best hibachi places I’ve ever been too! Everything was so fresh and actually packed with flavor. The best part? It’s like half the price of all the other hibachi restraunts I’ve been too. The portions are huge! I love this place because there’s no show at the table, no fuss you just grab a quaint little spot and can watch the cooks through the window cooking your meal! I love the atmosphere here it like a cute little Japanese shop and the staff is so sweet especially Yonne! She’s cute as button and always smiling! I can tell the owners put a lot of passion and care into the food they present! And don’t skip the Indonesian-Japanese fusion dishes the mie tek tek was INCREDIBLE!!!”

“This was my go to sushi spot when it was Toro. I do miss some of the rolls that Kato had but this does not take away from Tokyo. The remodel and refresh from new ownership (same owners as Shiki I believe) was a good one. Great ambience and welcoming upon entering. Sushi was very high quality with a variety to choose from. I thoroughly enjoyed coming in here and will be back for another go around. This is some of the best sushi in the valley.”
