“Outstanding food and service! We've never been disappointed. At our last visit my husband had sea bass and said it was the best he's ever had. I had the salmon, in fact I almost always get the salmon, because it's THAT good! We travel from Missoula to eat at Luna and we will be back!!“
“Our brunch got off to a bit of a slow start. We had reservations, got seated quickly but waited about 15 minutes before the server came over to out table to get our drink ordersOur meals arrived in just 35 minutes, which was great! While we were there, I didn’t notice any kids or teenagers around. I asked our server if they had a kid’s menu, and she said they didn’t. However, she suggested that the pancakes or cinnamon buns would be a great option for them, as they were thick and shareable - and they definitely are shareableHoneydew bellini. Sparkly bubble, not too sweet. I would say a mixture of sweet and tart. Loved watching the sorbet melt into the drink. The Butterscotch latte was not too heavy on the butterscotch, so it was not sweet. First time trying warm oatmilk. Overall, it wasn’t bad.Fried chicken and biscuitImagine biting into a juicy piece of fried chicken with a perfectly cooked egg on top and a flaky biscuit on the side. Delish! The chicken is not dry and wasn’t microwaved. And the biscuit...oh, the biscuit! It’s so flaky, my husband couldn’t resist stealing it. The coleslaw had a delicious sesame taste that complemented the meal perfectly. This meal is the definition of comfort food.Tallstack is the reason I came here temptation at its finest. It didn’t disappoint whatsoever the fluffiest pancakes I’ve eaten. Mike said it was too sweet for him. But he did like the pancakes by themselves. More for me, lolSteak and eggsRibeye, cook the way you like. Mike said he could tell the steak was not frozen, fresh meat. There’s a difference in quality.Overall, I was very impressed with the atmosphere, the vibe and vegan-friendly items on the menu. My only regret not trying this place sooner. We will be making reservations to try dinner.Inland Pacific Kitchen? 304 W Pacific Ave Ste 160Spokane, WA 99201United States“
“Wiley’s is a gem. The atmosphere is low-key. The food is high end. Our service was attentive and amazingly friendly. For the menu, the dishes offered are priced well. Overall I thought ours was an amazing experience and I’m surprised Wiley’s wasn’t on my radar sooner since I am from Spokane. Guarantee I’ll be back again and again.“
“I was visiting from out of town. Came to Spokane to spend my birthday weekend with my 2 son's. Not familiar with the area, my children's mom recommended Mizuna. The service- Both my boy's are now adults, but they also have autism. This sometimes triggers others to treat them like they're children. Our waitress directly engaged with them as if they were no different than any other normal adult. As if she couldn't even tell even though it's blatantly obvious. This encouraged my oldest to look directly at her and give his order with a clear and confident voice without stuttering. He even tossed in some hand gestures to over accentuate what he was saying. To the parents of kids on the spectrum, you know how huge this is. The food- Everything we ordered was awesome. The risotto balls, oven baked chicken, cashew crusted avocado noodles. The only let down was that they were out of the crème brûlée. The key lime and bread pudding definitely made up for it though. The drinks- I love me a good classic old fashioned. It's getting harder and harder these days to find an establishment that won't destroy this drink. The bartender came through on this one. My oldest son has a thing for espresso martini's. I asked him how it was and he responded with a double thumbs up. When it was time for the second and third drink, I just asked the waitress to get me whatever drinks she favored. Again she didn't disappoint. We finally ended the night with a couple shots of a very tasty espresso. The food, the drinks, and especially the awesome waitress (I wish I could remember her name). Grabbing something to eat turned into having a nice family dinner.“
“It's rare to be able to order almost anything off the menu and have a vegan option available. This place was phenomenal for our mixed party of veg and meat eaters, we all left fat dumb and happy. And the curry mac was delicious, better than I could have expected. It is vegan, but I doubt any meat eater would be upset eating it. We are going to try to mimic it for our own dinners. So good. Also, the TLTA was bomb. Idk what was special with it but was so good. 10/10 would recommend, vegan or not.Vegetarian options: Almost all of the dishes have a vegan if not vegetarian option. The texture of the crispy chicken sandwich was excellent. Flavor wasn't as good as the TLTA, but still quite good.“
“Our server was very good and professional. We had a quick greet and our drinks were quick and stayed full. Our food came out hot and fresh. Overall it was a great visit. Cool vibe and TVs to watch the game.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get a parking spot and entrances are accessible.“
“Chill atmosphere with a great dj that kick off songs that are both relaxing and get you to get up and boogie. Bartenders and bouncers are both chill and badass peeps that keep the place legitimate. Pool tables could use some new bumpers and felt and could use some new bar sticks as most aren't straight, but thats bar sticks for ya. But all in all, 10/5 stars from galaxies unknown. Cheers! ??Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is level with sidewalk, inside level, no stairs. If I was in a wheelchair, I'd roll it hard and good all over inside and in and out this joint!? ➡️?? ➡️??“
“Zola is a fun place to go. Certainly don't go for the food or the cocktails. Go to have a fun time. At happy hour prices, the drinks and food are an ok deal, but really I would recommend going elsewhere for a dinner, and then going to Zolas for the music, dancing, and party Service was good, and so no need to go to the bar. Just sit down at a table, and a friendly server will be by.“
“Unfortunately, with their hours stated as closing at 10 pm, arriving at 8:50 I was presented with the info that the last call for food was at 9pm. We ordered just before 9pm and had a drink, and the server came up and announced last call for drinks was at 925.... We felt like we were being rushed out, with him turning off the restaurant music before we had finished dinner. I could tell we were not wanted, so next time I will just choose somewhere else.Just so you know, when looks at restaurants in the area, most places close at 9, with this establishment closing at 10. I would expect you to get some business after 9. If you don't want that business, just close at 9 like everyone else.“
“The wait list to get in was 30 to 45 min, but the food was terrific. Quite the selection of mimosas. I had pancakes with honey- butter and a side of potato medley (potato, sweet potato, and yam wedges). My friend had the tamale waffle, and she loved it. My friend and I went again, and another great meal. Highly recommend.“
“We spent the night at the Davenport for new years and for dinner we went to the Peacock Room and when the time presents itself I’ll gladly go again. The cheese dip was delicious and the king salmon was to die for and our server was amazing, I wish I could remember his name. The drinks were amazing as well, I’m not a heavy drinker but the huckleberry lemon drop was very refreshing and tasty.“
“We had the filet mignon last time we went & it was great. We'd been here a couple times before - that's always a sign that we like a place. Going here is convenient for us, as we live in Lewiston & travel through Spokane via 195 in the evening after a workday. They've always had good food & drinks. You should know 2 things before you go. 1, they've had live music the times we've gone here, which always seems to happen on Friday evenings. So if you prefer a quiet venue, maybe call before going to see if it's happening. And 2, it's not a budget friendly place. Then again, eating McDonald's these days isn't budget friendly either.“
“After waiting 15 minutes for help (they mentioned the wait time and it was exactly 15mins) the bartender came to the rescue (bald white guy Mike I think?) and we got sat, us and our little baby girl (in her car seat that fit in the booth). The sweetest nicest server introduced us (Rayley or Rainee?) young black hair and very soft spoken, served us quickly some bread and our night kicked off with a drink and some very delicious meals and we could NOT be more satisfied especially with it being Valentine’s Day! Thank you both so much for the hospitality and care on such a crazy night, very amazing experience! The service is what ended up being astounding thanks to those 5 star staff members!!“
“This has to be one of my favorites! Tucked away below the streets of Spokane you will find this humble yet fancy restaurant with what appears to be comfort food on the menu!?? I love it! Mac n cheese, deviled eggs, and my personal favorite tater tot casserole. The tater tot casserole is made with braised brisket! A must try. This is a great place to eat but make sure you get reservations towards the weekend because they are busy!“
“Thanks to the $2 Ranier for less than $20 you can get pretty toasty at the Checkerboard Pub!! And who doesn't love the delicious taste of Ranier Beer? They have the usual line up of craft beers as well for those beer aficionado types. And a pretty decent whiskey selection as well. Now let's talk about pub grub! You know how greasy bar food can be? That nasty fresh from the fryer stench we all know and hate doesn't doesn't emanate from the kitchen at the Checkerboard Pub. That's because every item on the menu is microwaved. So rest assured you won't get a puddle of grease underneath your order of chicken wings with a side of tots. None of those nasty shiny, crunchy corn dogs either. The crowd is quite an eclectic mix of Spokane's socioeconomic classes. For some inexplicable reason the magic of cheap alcohol and dive bar decor mingle together to create an environment that just about everyone finds welcoming. Seriously isn't that the most important aspect of a weekend watering hole? A place where you and your friends can just be yourselves and get your funk on.And a big Ghetto Gourmet shout out to Andi the weekend bartender who really exemplifies excellent customer service skills!!I wish to thank EVERYONE who reads my posts. Let me know if you find the info useful and please let me know if you have any questions about the places I review.“
“It was such a fun place to do a small dinner date. I had the cheesy chicken sandwich, and my girl had the southwest salad, and it was so good. It was a little busy, but we still got our food under 5 minutes of wait! Definitely would recommend it. And also such a huge shout out to my server Sinead, who was such a huge help in me being a first time there.“
“My go-to is a chicken fried steak. I feel as though even a mediocre one is great. That being said..... this place might have the best country fried steak I've had in a dang long time. The batter is slightly sweetened, the country gravy is rich and luxurious, the sausage in it is chunky and perfect. I always add extra black pepper and a vinegar based hot sauce...(think tabasco) but they had a variety of hot sauces to choose from. Some locally sourced so we tried multiple. Man oh man it was absolutely amazing. My boyfriend got the country benedict and he raved about it as well. There's something special about unaasuming hometown diners, and this place has got to be in my top 5 ever. We will absolutely be back. If you still need more coaxing.. just go try it. Do it!“
“Updated 3.23.24Sat night, party of 4 at about 7pm. Made reservations but didn't look like it was needed.Ate here again, love their appetizers steak bites, and tacos! Also ha their sliders which were good. The Truffle pasta also delicious.Service was on point tonight. This was my 3rd time trying this place. This particular time was a party of 4 at about 6pm and there was a 30min wait. They have 3 areas to dine, one is the bar, second is their restaurant and their third is this large hall kind of area off to the side through double doors. NO NOT sit in that area if u actually want to hear conversation at your table. The first two times I ate there we sat in each of the other areas and it was great but that hall should only be used for large parties. Intimate smaller parties can't enjoy themselves when all conversation echos off of those walls and ceiling. We asked to be sat some place else and were willing to wait for the next table to come available but we were told we would have to wait another 30 min so we declined. I personally don't think that was good service. However, our waiter and the food was amazing like always.“
“Came here later on a Thursday and was seated immediately. Tons more room inside than I thought. More adults than kiddos but definitely both family- and couple-friendly. Had a nice view of the pizza prep area and really enjoyed watching them make one of the best pizzas I've had in years! Crust was chewy but not too thick. Tasted the excellent cheese & sauce right away. Nice basil graced the top. Impeccable service (great timing, super friendly). Can't wait to visit Spokane again so I can go back to Wooden City... though I learned that there are two more in western WA...woo hoo!!!“
