The vegan and gluten-free selections were a delightful surprise, especially for my girlfriend who navigates several dietary restrictions. Thanks to a knowledgeable staff, we were seamlessly provided with delicious options. The pumpkin waffles were outstanding, but the sweet potato and tofu dish stole my heart. Not to overlook their pastries, which were also exceptional--I ended up spending at least $40 on them, and each was worth every penny. The cinnamon roll, in particular, was a standout for me; I've yet to find a gluten-free roll that tastes as authentic as this one. It was incredibly impressive, and we're eagerly looking forward to returning to Boots on our next trip to Spokane.“

“Went in late on a Friday evening, bought a Carmel apple pie with the intention of bringing some home to share, and ended up eating the whole thing it was so dang good! “It’s pricey but you get massive portions, and service is quite quick even though it was busy when we went. Our waiter, Ian, was very attentive and thoughtful. We brought our 20 month old and he was always checking in on us and making sure we had everything we need. They gage us an activity sheet with free crayons which we appreciated. When she dropped it, Ian picked it up and even asked us if she could have the floor crayon back before giving it to her. High attention to detail and high regard for the customers wants and needs. 10/10 would return.“

And the curry mac was delicious, better than I could have expected. It is vegan, but I doubt any meat eater would be upset eating it. We are going to try to mimic it for our own dinners. So good. “We hosted a memorial service with 48 guests at Tamarack Event House mid-January and every aspect of it was beautiful, primarily due to the sincerity and professionalism of Teresa and everyone else at Tamarack. Hosting a memorial service is never an easy thing to do with all the emotions involved but Teresa, her sister Tina, and the staff helped immensely. Teresa answered emails promptly leading up to the event, gave suggestions on food options, and tested our slideshow well before the service to ensure all was working properly. On the day every aspect was perfect allowing us the family to focus on the service itself. Being from out of town and not knowing much about Spokane, we are thankful we found Tamarack Event House. Our memorial service was perfect and I can only assume the professionalism would be carried through to all events. We highly recommend Tamarack Event House for your event.“

Came in once at the last minute for a large order to surprise our council members for the first meeting of the school year and they were so nice and accommodating even though I was just getting $140 in cupcakes as a walk in. Not only that but they packaged everything beautifully in short order AND they had a large selection of gluten free treats to make sure that our gluten free group was included in the surprise. (I think I got 8 gluten free cookies that were huge & very pretty and maybe 4 dozen cupcakes) Everyone was super impressed and loved the treats.They are closed Sundays though so plan ahead. I walk by here every day and it always looks/smells amazing. It's my favorite place for treats to gift.“

“This place was a solid 4.5 stars. Great sandwiches but not the best I've had based on how much protein was in the sandwich. Taste was yummy. It comes with a pickled. Prices for the sandwich was about $12. We wanted soup but right when we got there, they ran out. Service was very friendly and she helped answer our questions. They sell bread and day old for a discount. You can make the sandwiches a combo by adding package chips or their fresh bakery options. Place was clean and we were able to push 2 tables together to accommodate 5 adults and 2 children.“

Asked for extra lime wedges with the rice and unfortunately did not receive them. Was even given just one wedge for the entire entree too. Also, my wife found a stark white course curly hair in her food. Definitely not the standard service we usually receive but otherwise was still good. Server who took our to go order was incredible and together with the other server that was with her was extremely kind to my daughter and I. Really made my 5 year olds day how kind they were.“
