Party of 4 for my nephews birthday party. Zach was our server who had amazing presence and really knew what he was up to! Bravo to Zach. The new menu did not disappoint. 10 out of 10 - 100% recommend. We'll be back. Beignets for dessert - cherry on top of a lovely evening.
My friend & I were looking for a restaurant to eat dinner after a community event. We drove past Cooks Tavern and I said: “Let’s drive around the block & eat at Cooks Tavern”. We had a great dinner with a server who was kind, attentive & professional. I loved my dinner and look forward to eating here again soon!
The energy and environment and the dining experience is always a thrill to look forward to.

The coffee is rich and smooth, and many guests claim it is the best legit cappuccino in the area. The overall atmosphere is vibey and lovely, making it an 11/10 recommended spot. It does get busy on weekends around 10, so guests may need to wait. The chef focuses on a different cuisine every 6 or 7 months, changing decor and art too. They maintain certain favorite menu items, like the crushed red potatoes and beignets, which are amazing. The jerked pork is fabulous and the lemon chicken is very good. Outdoor seating is perfect on a sunny day.
