People talk about the powerhouse grill, if you are 85 maybe it is great. But the flair and quality of food at the Mainstop is awesome. “Long time iconic Yakima drive through with a well-deserved cult following. When I'm craving a burger and a side of fries, this has been my go to. Yeah the service is quick and all the workers are exceptionally friendly. One thing I've always been impressed about is how clean their kitchen looks from the outside. In addition to burgers, they offer other main dishes such as fish and chips. Their milkshakes and ice cream cones are killer and making us an awesome spot to stop on a hot Yakima summer day.“

“Grew up in Yakima as a kid in the 50's. Our family were fans of your big delicious hamburgers for 25 cents each! Then the price went up in the 60's to 50 cents each. Well, I just had to stop for a hamburger with my siblings sometime in 1983, I think and the same favorite hamburgers were a $1.50 each. What a treat to see the building be the same place when we were kids! On the day we were there, you were just finishing a new paint job on the building. Thank you for the memories.“
