I just feel like in a City with so many just amazing, authentic, and delicious Mexican and Central American restaurants, I really wouldn’t say it’s a place I would really go out of my way to go to for the food.Overall, a nice little taproom overall.”

“I went to The Spice with my mom for dinner on Monday. It was the best Indian food I have eaten in YEARS! The service was excellent, the prices were great, the food was amazing! My mom and I shared a couple of dishes along with getting salads which were equally as amazing! I can't wait to go back!”

The options are minimal but don’t let that deter you from asking what specialty in-house made syrups are available (no Torani in sight!). I could taste the rich coffee in the americano I ordered. I would definitely come back to visit soon! Street parking and the have some parking located next to the alley. Don’t let parking deter you from trying a great cup of coffee. The entrance is located by alley way with a ramp making it accessible for a wheelchair.Parking: No shortage in parking! Especially if you’re mobile it is definitely walking distance.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that connects to the main entrance.”

“Probably my favorite restaurants in Yakima. The space is inviting, and tastefully decorated, with a large open kitchen. Probably one of the few restaurants in Yakima that would not feel at all out of place in Seattle, or NYC, or another large city - not bashing Yakima at all, but just a much more ‘hip’ vibe then most other places in the area.The Asian-fusion menu rotates frequently, and is always thoughtful, innovative, and honestly just delicious. It is a bit limited, but at the same time, there always seems to be a good range of options from salads, to fish, to ramen, and a number of staples. Much of the menu (if not all) is designed to be shared, small-plates style, and has always been just wonderfully prepared.Service has always been friendly, and a lot more easy going then you would expect for a higher end place - which is a good thing.The prices are higher then many other restaurants in the area, but are justified by the quality of the food, service, and just experience that they offer. Just one of the best restaurants in Yakima.”

They have a decent selection of food (including multiple gluten free options options!), traditional coffee drinks plus some extras like champurrado! There are couches for hanging and it's usually really quiet. Definitely some religious overtones to the book selection, buy also plenty of secular fiction and nonfiction.”

“Taj Palace is the best Indian food my family has ever had. We all were not fans and told people we don't like Indian food. Well... Taj has made liars out of us. The butter chicken is delicious, along with veggie pakora, curry chicken, samosas, puddings, salads, Naan, coconut veggies, spicy cauliflower you name it and Taj doesn't ever disappoint. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy with tasteful decor that immerses you into a far away land of tasty nums. The staff is all great kind and courteous and attentive. My daughter loved going just to see the younger guy who's name we still don't know but he's always nice and funny. Prices are fair with good sized portions or just go in for the buffet and taste many items for $14. On your way out don't forget to taste the spice candy unless you don't like licorice and don't lick the spoon!!!”

“This place is spectacular!! It's all decorated and festive for a romantic dining experience. But it did take a very long time to get our food. Be aware of that though, the wait is so worth it!! If you & your party are 21 & over, I would highly recommend sitting in their bar area. Excellent service, large circular booths & no kids!! ? Their side salad was fresh, best bread service ever & the best marinara sauce we have ever tasted!! Too full for dessert unfortunately ?The only downside of this restaurant is that they don't have any domestic beer on tap and they do not have raspberry vodka. We would have loved a raspberry lime Cosmo and a Bud Light on tap. Plus they need to shake their cocktails a little longer...ice cold cosmos are always appreciated!! ??Best service we have had in a restaurant in a very long time!! “This family likes to have their kitchen in obscure places. First it was in the back of a gas station mini-mart. It is now renamed as shown and is located in the back of Valley Brewing, as noted. They don't have their own entrance so after winding your way through the crowd in the brewery and past the garage door you'll see a table with a tablet for your order. Once you yell toward the back, hopefully someone will appear. And that's just the beginning. The food is still fresh and tasty and authentic. There are many tables on the covered patio they share with the brewery, which is a nice addition to to-go orders only. Hope you find it because it's worth it. Use GPS because it's actually north of Fruitvale.”

(This is very important to us)The restroom to my surprise was CLEAN and the Dining experience was nice. They have nice decore, white granite/quarts tables and comfortable chairs. When I saw this- I knew the food would be great! And it was!!They did have very loud music playing outside. But you couldn't hear it from inside the restaurant. Which was nice - our family was able to have a conversation without the loud music. I would recommend having the inside music a tad-bit lower.All in all I will be back for more delicious food.”

“Moved here from Colorado about 1.5 years ago...CO has some of the best Hazy IPAs on the planet, the scene is huge and quite a few breweries there win prestigious awards. I've tried alot of breweries since coming to WA, and Wandering Hop's Hazy's are right up there with CO, best I've found in all of WA State. Cool people and great vibe also.Try it for Hazy's, you can't go wrong with these guys!”

“What a treat for my toddler! Perfect place for rainy days and cold winter days. This place is so cute and clean. One big open room with a main wood play fixture with various themed play areas and plenty of toys. We went on a Friday morning right when they opened. Hannah at the front was very friendly and helpful for our first time. So convenient that they serve coffee, teas, beverages along with simple snacks for kiddos & adults. Also merchandises can be purchased as well. What a unique place. Plenty of seats and play area is fully gated. $12 for whole day- able to leave & return. Pretty affordable! For kids six and under so I don't need to worry about bigger kids accidentally knocking down my toddler. Highly recommend!”

“When I first walked in, it was not all chaotic. Servers we serving, and the place didn't feel stale or muggy, it felt welcoming and had a real calm atmosphere. I went with my father, and he said the same thing. We were approached and were given a choice to sit were we wanted, and that is a huge deal for me. Im more private in my conversations, and we we able to pick the perfect spot we felt comfortable to sit at, and that alone raised the bar for me. Just being given the option took away any fear of others listening to our conversation, and it felt safe. Once we sat down, it was like a whirl wind of customer service. It felt like a mixture of military/5star attention. We were asked within 10 seconds of sitting what we would like to drink, and tables and silverware were clean!. . Floors clean, smelled great, and windows were clean and clear. I notice these things because it says a lot about a business owner, especially at a restaurant. Once we got our drinks, 10 seconds later we were given menus, and told to take our time. Within 3-4min. we were approached and asked if we were ready to order, or if we needed more time. We ordered quickly, and we amazed of the time it took from walking in to ordering was less than 5-7. Super quick, and we really liked that. After we ordered, I liked how fast and quickly everyone that was coming in, was being served quickly. I also notice many different nationalities eating. This made me Happy, because it really says a lot about a business. With so many cultural differences, and how different races of people eat, communicate, and live, many businesses fail to learn cultural sensitivity. This is important, because I see a business draw so many different people in, IT SAYS, WE ARE TOP NOTCH, and. your business & opinion matters for us to give every single person TOP NOTCH SERVICE. Once we got our food, it was AMAZING!. . Never had hash browns like that, eggs on point(over easy), bacon cooked PERFECTLY!, Sausage done right with great old fashioned flavor, refreshments FRESH!. . (refills were done quickly), biscuits & gravy done perfect 99.8 (maybe a bit more pepper to be 100), toast was my only uhh. I wish they would have served Texas toast with what was presented to us on our plates. If Texas toast is added, I would say this is the place to eat breakfast from the places I have been to, and go eat out a lot from Washington, down to Texas, and different countries. The verbal articulation, and the ability to get things right each and every time we requested things was on point 100%. It was nice going to a place that actually does its homework to make a great restaurant come alive during business hours is far and few, and a rarity now days. The servers made our visit a great one, and the chefs did their jobs TOP NOTCH, and served a breakfast that I believe would be hard to beat in any competition. This establishment is a my favorite for breakfast NOW, I will be going Saturday, and look forward to the same service. If we have the same experience, I will say this with confidence, IT IS THE BEST RESTAURANT FOR BREAKFAST IN THE YAKIMA VALLEY!. . Thank you Waffle Cafe for making my day a great one, and what a beautiful meal. It truly was art in my opinion to receive such great service, and a 5star meal. You have undeniably earned my business, and look forward to eating a great once more when I return with all my family. “This for the most part is one of the nicer Mexican Restaurants in Yakima. I have been there about 10 times yet this is my first review. Every time we have been there everything has been great. Yep there is a big "but" coming here. There is an old saying in the restaurant business" You are only as good as the last meal served" Every time we have had great service. Service here is better than most other places. Now comes the but. Last week my wife and I stopped in. It was like a Tuesday around 7 PM ish. I ordered the Tilapia and when it arrived I noticed a slight fishy smell. When I looked closer I could see that it was NOT Tilapia but a Red Snapper. I called the server over and asked her to check on this. From the conversation I guess the cook thought it was OK to substitute something that they were out of without asking!!! I ate it anyway as I was starving. It was a bit over cooked on the outside but ok on the inner parts. The Black beans were done well. My wife had the Pollo ala Creama which she gets everywhere and I have NEVER seen her complain. She very quietly called the server over and asked her to take it back. The small pieces of Chicken were tough as leather.. My suspicion is that it was old and had been reheated in a microwave. Looked like it was something that was scraped off some other plate. I found this very unusual for this place as they have always done a great job in all aspects. I will say that if you go to a restaurant enough times you will get that "off" day. Manager took the Pollo off the bill but didn't come to the table. I am still taken aback by the cook that tried to pull a fast one thinking I wouldn't notice. For any cook to do a swap because they were out of something without asking first is unacceptable. Like I said all other times have been very good. I would recommend this place and I will return again.”

“I ordered ahead and wanted it ready at 12:15. It was ready at 11:36 for pickup and I called to confirm is that was true. They explained the process as to why they make them ahead which makes sense. “When I first walked in, it was not all chaotic. Servers we serving, and the place didn't feel stale or muggy, it felt welcoming and had a real calm atmosphere. I went with my father, and he said the same thing. We were approached and were given a choice to sit were we wanted, and that is a huge deal for me. Im more private in my conversations, and we we able to pick the perfect spot we felt comfortable to sit at, and that alone raised the bar for me. Just being given the option took away any fear of others listening to our conversation, and it felt safe. Once we sat down, it was like a whirl wind of customer service. It felt like a mixture of military/5star attention. We were asked within 10 seconds of sitting what we would like to drink, and tables and silverware were clean!. . Floors clean, smelled great, and windows were clean and clear. I notice these things because it says a lot about a business owner, especially at a restaurant. Once we got our drinks, 10 seconds later we were given menus, and told to take our time. Within 3-4min. we were approached and asked if we were ready to order, or if we needed more time. We ordered quickly, and we amazed of the time it took from walking in to ordering was less than 5-7. Super quick, and we really liked that. After we ordered, I liked how fast and quickly everyone that was coming in, was being served quickly. I also notice many different nationalities eating. This made me Happy, because it really says a lot about a business. With so many cultural differences, and how different races of people eat, communicate, and live, many businesses fail to learn cultural sensitivity. This is important, because I see a business draw so many different people in, IT SAYS, WE ARE TOP NOTCH, and. your business & opinion matters for us to give every single person TOP NOTCH SERVICE. Once we got our food, it was AMAZING!. . Never had hash browns like that, eggs on point(over easy), bacon cooked PERFECTLY!, Sausage done right with great old fashioned flavor, refreshments FRESH!. . (refills were done quickly), biscuits & gravy done perfect 99.8 (maybe a bit more pepper to be 100), toast was my only uhh. I wish they would have served Texas toast with what was presented to us on our plates. If Texas toast is added, I would say this is the place to eat breakfast from the places I have been to, and go eat out a lot from Washington, down to Texas, and different countries. The verbal articulation, and the ability to get things right each and every time we requested things was on point 100%. It was nice going to a place that actually does its homework to make a great restaurant come alive during business hours is far and few, and a rarity now days. The servers made our visit a great one, and the chefs did their jobs TOP NOTCH, and served a breakfast that I believe would be hard to beat in any competition. This establishment is a my favorite for breakfast NOW, I will be going Saturday, and look forward to the same service. If we have the same experience, I will say this with confidence, IT IS THE BEST RESTAURANT FOR BREAKFAST IN THE YAKIMA VALLEY!. .
