“After multiple visits to Riley’s in the Third Ward, I can honestly say it’s now one of our favorite dinner spots, despite our 30 minute drive to get there. The food and service has been consistently high quality. The owners have been at the location every time we’ve visited which sends such a message about the care of their business. It’s so nice to have a dinner spot we can head to with our dog, especially after a work day or on a weekend when he doesn’t need any more time alone! We’re big fans of the Philly and CBR!“
“Pull tabs zero out of zero! Lol but other than that, great atmosphere and excellent service! The kitchen messed up a bit on the snacks (twice) but management was above par and made our experience more than enjoyable! We Will definitely be going there again next time we come to “

“The drinks and atmosphere here are above and beyond.Matt is one of the most personable bartenders I've had the pleasure to be served by. He will keep multiple conversations going with patrons while getting handcrafted drinks out remarkably fast. I don't think I waited longer than a minute after ordering to get anything.“

“We came here for some pre-dinner drinks on a Wed night and it was so cozy and festive, and not too busy which was a plus! The bartender was so sweet and gave me lots of tasters before I decided on the Vienna Lager (so good!). The lounge area with chairs and a couch set a great mood to enjoy a couple beers after hitting the Christmas Market. They have the coolest mapping of beers on the wall, honestly so informative to understand what beers come from what family (with specific examples of each one) and what glasses to drink them in. Downtown Tosa was so cute and we look forward to going back!“
“Dj Conway is probably the best karaoke dj I've ever laid eyes on (I've seen too many). This man let me belt linkin park out of key, whilst assisting with backup vocals. Man? Myth? Legend? Other worldly being? I couldn't tell you. What I can tell you is he and the rest of this staff treat ya like family.“

“We went on taco Tuesday. The tacos leave a little to be desired. I had corn tortillas with mine, but they fell apart and were cold. The meat, carnitas, was very plentiful, which I loved. But it was dry and a little tough to eat. I also ordered an empanada, which was the highlight of the evening and much envied by my companions, who all ordered tacos.Besides the food, which I want to go back to try multiple other options on their menu, the service was very slow. We had a group of 4, and dinner service took 2 full hours, plus whatever time my friends waited before my partner and I got there. It was a good 20-25 mins before the waiter took our first drink order. We were there an hour before they came back for food orders. We were never asked if we wanted another round of drinks, though they did refill the waters right at the very end while we were waiting for the check. Just... So slow. And it was empty in there!Again, I want to go back, which will take a little convincing to my partner, to try other things on their menu. Maybe sit at the bar next time? That might reduce the service time significantly.“

“It was our first meal after flying all day. We ordered the hot garlic wings (extra crispy), French fries and a side salad. As far as flavor, the wing sauce was unique and tasty. The hot sauce had a sweet tang to it but had the kick from the red peppers. The fries were so crispy and the croutons for the salad was great. As far as “best wings ever”- not so much. The wings weren’t crispy and we asked for all flats, which they couldn’t do. But they gave us more drums than flats which was disappointing.Other than that, not a bad experience. The server was nice and friendly.“
“We came here for the first time to celebrate our daughter’s 21st birthday. I reached out to the owner, Caroline, to be assured of everything for the special occasion. She got back to me in a timely fashion & reassured me about my questions. When we got there (around 8:30) there was still room in their free parking lot. We were warmly greeted at the door & they were already expecting us. There is a cover charge, but again, free parking & music, so not unexpected. Caroline personally came up & greeted us. We were tended to the entire time by her great bar staff. Drinks were very good & reasonable. The Donna Woodall group was playing & they were some of the best jazz we’ve heard in a long time! A must see & hear! We are not anybody special but were treated that way. Caroline’s deserves more than 5 stars. We will be back!“

“Matt is one of the best bartenders in the city.If you’re not stopping in here just because their cocktails are fire or their environment is cozy and kitschy, then you’ll likely want to stop for their great specials like Wednesday Mules. The $5 mezcal mule and the Kentucky mule are favorites of mine. Also, they have plenty games for you to play with friends. As well as a nice big patio for the summer. You can bring food to eat here. Belair is across the street.“

“We came here for a date night dinner last night and it did not disappoint!Everything we tried (deviled eggs, diplomat fries, tostones, risotto and burger) was phenomenal. Still thinking about the tostones and burger the next day! Also don't miss the banana bread for dessert, the perfect way to end the meal! Also tried the mezcalculated risk cocktail and highly recommend. Sad I was driving so I could only have one.Definitely somewhere we will return to again in the future and recommend to anyone“

“Absolutely fantastic! After a long day of traveling and an afternoon walking all around Milwaukee, I came to Buckley’s with my parents for dinner. This converted home has been turned into a fancy-casual restaurant with an exquisite atmosphere. I tried the Broccoli starter, which came with a nice miso tahini sauce that provided a unique flavor. The Buckley Burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The meat itself was so high quality and full of flavor, and the crisp brioche bun and toppings and condiments complimented the burger perfectly. I also had the Lobster pasta and it lives up to how delicious a lobster dish has to be. Absolute class when it came to combining the lemon and tomato flavors with the lobster in a light pasta dish. My Dad also says the salmon dish he had was really good. For dessert, it was hard to choose which of Mrs. Buckley’s items to get. We got the famous carrot cake and the seasonal St. Patrick’s cheesecake. All I know is that Mrs. Buckley doesn’t miss! Both desserts were so delicious and the high quality showed once again. The service was great, too. We were never rushed even with the restaurant being packed. The waitress was very nice, answered questions, and told us a little bit about the Buckley family. On top of everything mentioned, the pricing was very good and the portions were large. Overall, this is a restaurant I trust after my first visit. You can’t go wrong with Buckley’s. 5 STARS!!!!!“

“Fun, but kinda relaxed too. I love that the crowd is a huge mix of ages and crowds. You don't have to be a regular to feel at home.Kid-friendliness: I stopped in with my 10 year old daughter to get my phone charger that I left there, and a biker (Harley, not peddle), played a game of giant Jenga with my daughter and served her a Kiddie cocktail. Now that they serve food, it's her favorite burger joint because bartender Leah chats her up like she's a sister to her. Kids don't belong in bars. But this one is an exception. Especially since the owner has 5 daughters and a few of them work there.“
“Favorite place to go get a before or after dinner drink! It's decorated beautifully inside plus the drinks are so unique and fun! Definitely worthy of snapping a picture of! N/a and kids options too! Anyone I take there always loves it!“

“We came here late one Saturday evening because our group wasn't quite ready to call it a night and we ended up almost closing the bar down! It's your typical bar - a step above from a "dive" bar, in my opinion. The staff was nice and we got our drinks quickly. The gin and tonic was reasonably priced and tasted as expected. Overall a perfectly good late night drinks option with friends, but it was very very loud. The music was blaring and the people were trying to top it with their conversations. This is definitely not the place to go if you want to have a conversation with your group without yelling. They did have darts and some slot machines in the back.“

“Despite this being one of our favorite dinner options, I realize now I've never actually reviewed them (outside of the brunch pop-up, which I still think should be a permanent on their menu). We went on the Saturday evening of St. Patrick's Day and it was jam packed! Fortunately it wasn't too long of a wait for a table. The back patio was open, but it seems they are no longer allowed to have heating elements back there, so on a chilly day, you will definitely feel it. They do have some blankets you can borrow if you choose to mingle in the patio. I got their gin and jam drink called Rude Barb and my husband got their Old Fashioned. The Old Fashioned was on the sweeter side, which he loved. My gin and rhubarb jam cocktail was out of this world! It was definitely a spring cocktail, which made me forget about the very much not spring weather outside. Between the two of us, we shared the buffalo cauliflower, the Brussels sprouts, and the produce root fries. The buffalo cauliflower is top tier. The buffalo sauce is incredible and the blue cheese dip it comes with gives it a really nice tang. The Brussels sprouts will make any vegetable hater double think their choices. It's piled high and seems endless, which is great because it will leave you coming back for more. The root fries were a new for us and it might be a new favorite. Each fry was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We chose to get it with a side of cilantro crema and it worked beautifully. I would highly recommend this dish! There are also different board and card games available for you to borrow while you drink and/or dine. It's always a good time here!“

“There is never a full evening at Just Art’s saloon. A night that will be highlighted by conversation, jokes, great drinks, and of course, bar dice. For the few hours eve opens each week, Art makes it worth it. The historic building and decor will take you right back to a simpler time. Great beer selection, merch, and prices you can’t beat anywhere else in the area.“

“Great staff and patrons are kind of drunk who have zero affection to other people. I would never attempt to save anyone's life because I doubt anyone would save mine. Either way, bartenders are loud and only offer great service if tips are given. Whatever. They're cheap and so is the beer..“

“Highly recommend! We were on vacation and stopped here right after dinner on Brady Street. While eating dinner next door, I kept eyeing the posters of their boozy slushies and I couldn't resist! The woman who served me I think was the owner. She was very warm, friendly, and so helpful in recommending what cocktail would best suit my preferences. It was delicious! Always happy to support a black-owned, woman-owned business. ❤️“

“This is a unique drinking establishment for Walker’s Point, or what some people call the Fifth Ward. The current trend calls for a craft brewery, an independent distillery, an ersatz gourmet restaurant, or a place left over from the clandestine 1980s or 1990s. Breaking that template, Wall Street is a black owned, sultry cocktail bar with the sounds of “sweet soul music” filling the handsome space. Milwaukee may be growing up, accepting its diversity and realizing it can be urbane without losing its roots. That beer and a shot town may be long gone.Looking like more like a model from Paris or New York City, the proprietor Sharisse, named the bar after her mother who taught her finance and how to use economic investment to further yourself in a competitive world. Sharisse’s presence adds class and panache to the Wall Street Stock Bar. Less of a South Side bar, and more NYC or Paris, the Wall Street offers an array of delicious mixed cocktails and tasty bites to eat. Helping to tend bar, Naomi greets you with her bubbly personality and a ready smile, making everyone feel welcomed. Prices are a little higher than the typical corner tavern, but Wall Street pays off with a sophistication lacking from most places in Milwaukee. It reminds me of when Elsa’s on the Park first opened, breaking the mold in the Cream City, bringing Karl Kopp’s vision of a cool and hip Milwaukee to fruition.Go to the Wall Street Stock Bar and support the “new Milwaukee.” It isn’t all bar dice and dem and dose anymore.“
“I went here for the Bloody Mary Halloween event last weekend and the vibe is really cool. I like how it's chill, townie, but posh people at the same time. The Bloody Mary was my favorite in the voting! Ambiance A- Drinks B+ Staff A. (There was even an Adam Levine "look a like" lol)“
“Staff was not responsive at first, but then when our issue was figured out they were helpful in figuring out what went wrong. The place is small and cramped, so don't bring a huge group here. There's also no high tech screens if that's the kind of thing you need“

“I love this place. The service is excellent, and the food is always amazing. I love the Salmon Encrutado, as well as the Carne Asada. You can also never go wrong with what I consider to be the best Tacos I've ever had. I always look forward to dining there.“
“Love the place, the people, not so much. People were having a good time, but they were so loud. That's ok as long as they weren't standing in front of the tv. Nobody could watch cause 2 people were standing one foot from the television so nobody could see the end of the game. Another ugly guy thought I was looking at him because he sat right in front of the TV even though there were open spots all over. I guess they need to have the tv's mounted higher. The ceilings are low so it is hard. I like the beer and jack n coke kind of vibe, but not today. May try another time.“
“Stopped in there randomly on a motorcycle ride with my girlfriend…was absolutely blown away. Was expecting a little classic WI dive with some snacks to rest the legs for a minute and we were absolutely blown away by the quality and taste of the food. Some of the best smoked chicken I’ve ever had. Owners were amazing people. Do not miss this place. Will be back for food.“
“I am not a drinker but I love going to Devines where I do play bar dice and drink my Diet Pepsi. The penny machines they have are vintage and lots of fun. They have a pool table and the best darn free popcorn I've ever eaten at any venue. It's always a fun time at Devines. Bartenders are fun and keep the fun going. Come on out to Brookfield to have a brewsky at Devines, N. 124th about a long block north of Capitol Drive. Bring your well-behaved/social k-9 along to join in on the fun. All the popcorn on the floor is for the dogs. Humans get their popcorn from the popcorn machine.“

“This is a very nice place for some great mole. OMG!!! Their mole is like Mexican chocolate sauce on a juicy chicken breast. I mean OMG for real. The beans and rice are good as well. We also had their chimichangas which were very large and tasty. The service was fine. To me . . . Their chips taste like really authentic tortilla chips like in Cancun. Their salsa was okay. In my opinion, it didn’t seem very flavorful. Oh well . . . Maybe I caught it in a “not so good” day. We had a wonderful lunch, and I will be going back for some more of that yummy mole.“

“Boyfriend and I came here for the first time today. We are new to the Tosa/Brookfield area and wondered what this place was all about. This place feels like a second home when you walk in...it has that classic Wisconsin bar comfort: neighbors having conversations at the bar, Packer memorabilia on the walls, sports games on TV. When you go to the right, you enter the restaurant area, which again has a nice second-home feeling. I ordered a Reuben sandwich and my boyfriend ordered a steak and mushroom sandwich that was the special of the day. OMG, both were amazing! Haven't had a good Reuben in a while and this place definitely satisfied the craving. Looking forward to coming back sometime soon!!“
“We had such a fun night at Nine Below! Loana was so much fun - she was welcoming and friendly from the moment we walked in the door. Molly, Cap, Ryan, and Rachel were also working during our time there and they made our night so much fun. We will be back very soon!“
“Simply the finest beer bar around. No TVs, just excellent beer. The interior design could be in a beer bar magazine. Perfect in the summer with the garage doors up and in winter with some live music playing. My car veers to the curb as I drive by....“
“We strolled into Camacho’s on a sleepy Sunday afternoon in August, wanting to discover a true neighborhood bar. So much has changed in Walker’s Point since my glory years. I lament the loss of La Fuente, Felipe’s Place, where we partied the night before my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah, and Babalu, where I danced the light fantastic to Elvis Crespo and Cubanismo.Jessie was behind the bar at Camacho and treated us like old friends. Everyone was friendly, the music was fantastic, the drinks strong and reasonable. Camacho is the true definition of a place keeping the ideal of neighborhood alive. Trendy is nice.
