“Our dinner and drinks were excellent. Very authentic Mexican food. The staff were super friendly. I felt like they had already known us as past patrons and it was the first time we ate at the restaurant. It is a very small restaurant, but very quaint and comfortable. Just get there early as it fills up fast. I believe the restaurant limit holds approximately 99 people. We will definitely dine at this restaurant again!“

“I went for the first time yesterday, and it was delicious. You order from the counter and friendly staff walks the food out to you. I had the nachos and the three taco plate with rice and beans and I was 100% satisfied. Will definitely be returning.“

“Fantastic food! I knew as soon as I tasted the very flavorful salsas that were brought out right away with the basket of freshly-made chips that I would be in for a treat. My enchiladas were delicious and made just perfectly! The included side of rice and beans was top-notch as well. Definitely worth a stop!“

“Do you want a solid spot for Mexican food at great prices made by the same couple for years? This is the spot.Lunch enchiladas for 8.25 with rice and beans? Yes please. Steak burrito for 11 dollars loaded up? Everytime. It’s worth a weekly visit. Highly recommended. No reason to eat at a chain place like chipotle when Mara’s grill exists.“

“Just stopped after a basketball game in Butler, needed to grab a quick bite. Found this place on Yelp and it did not disappoint! Ordered a pork carnitas quesadilla and was satisfied with the quality and potion size I received for $10.00. I would highly recommend this truck and will return when I get a chance.“

“I love this place. The service is excellent, and the food is always amazing. I love the Salmon Encrutado, as well as the Carne Asada. You can also never go wrong with what I consider to be the best Tacos I've ever had. I always look forward to dining there.“

“This is a very nice place for some great mole. OMG!!! Their mole is like Mexican chocolate sauce on a juicy chicken breast. I mean OMG for real. The beans and rice are good as well. We also had their chimichangas which were very large and tasty. The service was fine. To me . . . Their chips taste like really authentic tortilla chips like in Cancun. Their salsa was okay. In my opinion, it didn’t seem very flavorful. Oh well . . . Maybe I caught it in a “not so good” day. We had a wonderful lunch, and I will be going back for some more of that yummy mole.“

“The BEST birria tacos in Milwaukee hands down. I’ve tried just about everywhere and no other place stands a chance. Atmosphere is great music is too low or too loud. If you need or want something a simple look at your server and they’ll come right over. Prices for the amount of food is absolutely killer. Everything I’ve ever order from Lazo’s is full full full of flavor. If you’re visiting Milwaukee or live here, you definitely should come check Lazo’s Tacos out. Seeing door dashers come in and out without waiting for more than 5 minutes is also a great sign they are doing something correct.“

“Everything was fine until the bill came. The waitress not only charged our card with our bill (275.19) but also charged someone else's bill (119.00) to our card. She said she removed the $119 from our card. When we got notified about our charge, our tip wasn't on it. She left off her $52 tip!!!“

“I just had the salmon entree and it’s to die for! The acidity of the tomatoes pairs very well with the fish and asparagus. I love that they don’t sit back on their laurels like the last tenant did. They keep pushing for new and flavorful additions to the menu. Fantastic job from every one of their team. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Recently discovered this restaurant. It is absolutely delicious—generous portions, more than fair prices. I must say, out of all the Mexican restaurants I've visited, this is the best! Don't know how you do it, but keep it up. Will be back often!“

“The food Fresh to order and the service is amazing and from what I have seen this is one best restaurant's I have eaten before. Each time I order food from here, the staff is very quick when it come's to cooking the food, and you can see it in action when they cook food. For example, when I ordered the cheeseburger, you could hear it sizzle and see the patty get grilled. And when I order in the morning I see that all the employees prepare the meats and veggies fresh at the day. Additionally, the prices are reasonable for what you order since most of the prices for authentic mexican food are high and here the prices are reasonable and they give big portions. Also, the owners and staff are friendly and have great customer service . I would recommend this restaurant if you like fresh and hot food ready to order ? Best restaurants in mke! ??“

“Came in today and they were slammed because of national burrito day. Even though I had to wait longer than expected, I didn’t have an issue with it because the staff there was great. Especially the lady at the register, despite all the stress, chaos, and being understaffed she still managed to have a positive attitude and still gave great customer service.“

“My girl and I came out to Bel Air Cantina to get some Margs, beers and tacos. We had amazing service from Bree W. Our queso was taking a little long. She noticed and spoke up about it right away. Gave us queso on the house. (Def did not have to do that) but we appreciated it. We got our food shortly after that. My fiancée ordered a carne asada with no cilantro. It did come out with cilantro but we loved that she owned up to it and said she wrote it down wrong. I love cilantro so she let me keep the taco. I feel like she went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our visit. Always filling our chips and water. Definitely will be back because of her. We were sad there was only two $2 dollar tacos on the menu though….“
“Good viarety of thin cuts of steak great for tacos, fajitas or just to grill. Towards the back, they have already.preped food at a good price. One of the few places I can find certain mexican soda brands like Yoli and peeled cactus ready to grill“

“Beautiful area, beautiful restaurant, delicious food. I ate at this restaurant 7 years ago, and moved out of WI. I swore to return one day to eat their fish tacos, which I can’t find like that anywhere, and yesterday I did. Same taste, same delicious sauce, and great service.I will always return every time I’m in Wisconsin.“
“I know about tacos, I look for the best anywhere I go, I lived in Mexico for 6 years and these are by far the best I have had in the states. The burrito... I asked only meat since I was taking it to my hotel, the tortilla was dry and the meat inside was juicy, I put some avocado, tomato and their sauce and I was in heaven... at the truck I had al pastor, asada, and chicken with onions and avocado... and their green sauce.. yes! Limón too... I ordered like When I lived in Ensenada, Mexico .. flour tortillas.... omg! I was back there... I will come back, I will go tomorrow for more. I am happy to have found this gem Very clean, fast, inexpensive, nice people... 10/10“

“I order the Lg mac n cheese, fish filet, and the jerk burrito. The mac n cheese tasted cajun style and it was made with penne pasta. The fish was fried crispy and cajun seasoned as well. The jerk burrito was very different and was packed with rice more than anything. I think it was suppose to be like a jerk plate but put into a burrito. The menu said it comes with beans and rice, cabbage and jerk chicken. It was big and toasted. I didn't care for the fries. They where too soft and not salted. I'll give all of it a 8. I do plan on going back for the shrimp and grits I've read about in the reviews.“

“I've stopped there a few times. First when they opened up the truck and again this week. The food is delicious, reasonably priced, and put together in a reasonable time. Parking is easy as you can park behind there vehicle or park in the YMCA parking lot!“

“I’m someone who isn’t the biggest fan of taco places, but I came here with my friends and I can say hand DOWN that I had some of the BEST tacos that I have ever had here. I was literally gushing with my friend over the tacos and churros ✨✨✨ To boot the atmosphere is so gorgeous and the staff was so so sweet and attentive, I am DEFINITELY coming back, even on my own if none of my friends can come with me ?“

“Kompali Tacos y Tortas is a gem of a spot operating out of the 3rd Street Market Hall. After an Admirals game recently, we stopped by the 3rd Street Market Hall for some dinner. After wandering around and perusing all the vendors, we opted for Kompali Tacos y Tortas. I ordered the veggie burrito and my date and I got an order of their guacamole to share. The burrito was packed with mexican rice, black beans, avocado, and veggies. It was hearty and tasty! The guacamole was fresh and tasty as well. The service was friendly and efficient. You order at the counter and if you're dining in the Market Hall, they'll give you a buzzer for when your order is ready. Also worth noting, we didn't realize it when we ordered but there are QR codes on every table and you can easily order right from a table in the Market. You can even order from multiple vendors and have it on one tab. They make it easy peasy. There's plenty of comfortable table seating throughout the market so dining in is an easy option (though, the market is typically bustling so it's not a necessarily quiet meal--but we enjoyed well enough!). Get to it!“

“I had the weekend special: pozole verde. It was delicious! Perfect amount of hominy corn, chicken and broth with the perfect flavor and a slight kick of spice. Not too greasy and the price was on point (32oz for $10). Located in the 3rd st market hall which is a perfect place to gather with friends or family. Fun activities inside and lots of options to eat. I want to go back to try the grilled chicken. Plates are served well and easily shareable which is perfect so you save room for dessert from another stall.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options as most Latin cuisine is.Kid-friendliness: Large plates to share. Rice and beans are almost always a hit with kids.“
“We love this place! True Southside gem. If you want authentic Mexican food that is always good, not a hit or miss, try this place. We love the parrilladas and the enchiladas suizas are my all time favorite here! Highly recommend this wonderful place where you always see a friendly face, great food! BYW the waitresses have known my kids since they were little, Says a lot about this establishment and their priorities!“

“I spotted another food truck that I have not seen before so I jumped on Yelp to check it out and no listing so let's add another business and get them on yelp. This red beat up truck caught the corner of my eye and since I haven't eaten since breakfast I stopped for a couple tacos since it was almost 3pm. I ordered one steak and one al Pastor taco with cilantro and onions that came with a red and green sauce. The tacos looked good on corn tortillas and nicely filled and topped. I tasted the meat before I put the hot sauce on my tacos to see how it was. The meats were moist and not dry at all with the steak having a good beef flavor and the al Pastor being the tastier meat. The sauces were not to my liking but the red one was used for some heat in my tacos. The tacos were pretty good on the corn tortillas with the fresh cilantro and onion and every bite was meaty with the steak having a big piece of gristle/fat. Overall it's not my favorite Mexican truck but it was still good and I would try a goat burrito next time.“

“Be more attentive to customers at the bar and ask staff for help if needed. Waited 25 minutes just to get menus. When the bartender finally came with them and we told her we ordered online since we never got them...it went downhill from then on. Never again!“

“Great restaurant. Tons of vegetarian and vegan stuff. They also have a lot of non-vegetarian items too, so someone with any type of diet could find something they like. Convenient location because it's very close to the Laundromat, so you can get tacos to go while your clothes wash and eat them while your clothes dry.“
