“Cat lovers we have a new hangout! We had a great time at this place! I saw the name and knew I had to check it out. It's a nice corner bar in west Allis with lots kitschy cat decor and some that's honestly cute. The bartender was super friendly and told us about all the upcoming events and specials. It's whiteclaw Wednesday and they're $3 each! Will definitely be back!“
“Fun, but kinda relaxed too. I love that the crowd is a huge mix of ages and crowds. You don't have to be a regular to feel at home.Kid-friendliness: I stopped in with my 10 year old daughter to get my phone charger that I left there, and a biker (Harley, not peddle), played a game of giant Jenga with my daughter and served her a Kiddie cocktail. Now that they serve food, it's her favorite burger joint because bartender Leah chats her up like she's a sister to her. Kids don't belong in bars. But this one is an exception. Especially since the owner has 5 daughters and a few of them work there.“
“Da Bar is a fun bar wth pleasant staff. The new bar up the street called Da Bar and Grill sells the food. Ive never tried the food there yet though. On sundays for football the owner has free buffets in back area from Rupena's which is a very nice gesture. Stage area in back for bands and party room to rent out if you want to host something there. Little dingy in back tbh could use a new floor as well but other than that its good. Owner is very kind and fun. Enjoy his gaming machines and looking forward to the shuttle bus starting this spring for Brewers baseball games.“

“Fast upbeat service with a cool crowd. I enjoy the open Jam they just started doing monthly. Only Improvement I can see is that perhaps the dart league could be on a different day than the open Jam, this way people are not bumping into each other so much.“

“I stopped here after lunch to check the place out after driving past it for many years. Unfortunately it has the street under construction in front of it so you have to park in the surrounding neighborhood to get there at the moment. It's your typical West Allis dive bar that looks aged with a pool table, flat screens etc. They have daily specials and a small hot food menu. The owner survived the C19 shut down only to endure the front street shut down which kills his business because I was the only person in the place, what a back to back shame. Being the only person in the place kills the enjoyment of going out with no one around you to talk to so I had to leave and move on, when the street is fixed and people come back I would like to stop back over.“

My girlfriend and I were greeted by a friendly and welcoming bartender, with fast beer service and a menu (food available from the neighboring paulie's)The bar crowded quickly, not uncomfortably, but it seemed every stool was occupied and many were standing.Football game was in view from nearly any angle, refills came quickly, and the wings were great.A quick stop in the men's room showed a small, clean facility, albeit several degrees cooler than the rest of the building, but functional and comfortable enough.In summation, with no expectations, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Paulie's Field trip.Of note: parking was available off street, and plentiful.“
“I stopped here after lunch to check the place out after driving by it for years. This is your typical Stallis dive bar with a pool table, gambling machines etc. The place is very dark for some reason and it's mostly regulars but me and a few people from Chicago just happened to stop by. It's an old bar with old wooden coolers. John the owner was friendly and talked to everyone. As far as food goes it's frozen pizza and cheese bread only and that's as good as it gets. Overall it's a friendly neighborhood bar and I will probably stop back at some point.“
“This was our first time trying Braun’s Power House. We ordered a couple fish fry’s to go and were not disappointed! The food was excellent, 3 good size pieces of fried cod, delicious batter and flavor on the cod, great fries, great tarter and coleslaw. I wouldn’t hesitate to grab a fish fry from here again!“
“Dean and Sue, the owners, are terrific. The bar staff is still trying to keep up after 15 years of ownership. They are great as well, BTW. This place is the true Milwaukee corner bar. I am from the panhandle of Florida so I know about Fried Chicken. This place has an awesome fried CHICKEN PLATE. The difference is also how the atmosphere is.
