You can't get better Indian food in Milwaukee; believe me I've tried almost every Indian restaurant in the area and with every one my fiancé and I say "This is really good, but it's not as good as India Garden." Literally everything I've ordered here has been fabulous.“

“Food and drinks were great, everything we had was 10/10, and service was incredible too. It was easy to book a reservation online, and our server was extremely knowledgeable about both the food and drink menus, and was able and willing to offer specific recommendations for us based on our requests/feedback. Parking was a little tough, but we did visit on the same night as a Brewers home game, and it still wasn’t terrible (no worse than anywhere downtown or Bay View or the East Side. Overall, it was a great experience and the price point was dead on - not “cheap” but certainly not overpriced; I’d come back any time.“

“Went here for the first time yesterday for a family members birthday. Not the best atmosphere at all. The place is kind of dark and the decor is really dated. But the service was great. Majority of The food items we selected to share were really good. The cocktails were amazing as well. I am not a huge fan of sharable plates. But I enjoyed the restaurant.“

“Wonderful Greek Cafe located in Tosa. Ordered the pita and hummus as an appetizer and loved how fresh the hummus was. Will definitely be back to get some hummus to go to have at home. Their falafel pita was delicious, and the amount of meat that was on their Mediterranean salad was more than generous, enough for leftovers. The inside of the Cafe is pretty small with a few tables, and you order at the counter. There's also a few tables outside which is where we sat. Service was great and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend!“

“My go to is usually a almond chai or Jolly Green Jenny, a single maple-syrup laced crepe and a side of tofu scramble. Together they satisfy all my sweet salty and savory cravings with a comforting hot beverage. It’s always civilized in there, everyone keeping their voices to a mellow decibel and the greenery all over in the living walls is over the top beautiful. In the summertime it’s gorgeous outside. Michael and his staff are always hospitable and polite and you feel like they’re family taking care of you. It’s a terrific little gem tucked away in a sweet spot. “My husband and I are visiting from Illinois and we dined here last night to celebrate our anniversary. Nicole was our server and she was incredible! She was knowledgeable and provided us with recommendations that didn’t disappoint! We started with the salad/relish tray, garlic bread, and the bacon sticks that were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. My husband had the prime rib, I had the ribeye, and we ordered the green beans and crab mac and cheese to share. We also ordered the key lime pie and cheesecake for dessert. Service was very good despite being busy & they gave us a free choice of a sugar cookie or chocolate chip cookie to all in party when check was received. Nice surprise. “My favorite steak in town…. “Steak au Poivre” can be found at this great French restaurant (French not not haughty) in Wauwatosa. Favorite steak as it tastes great, and presented well. Sliced on an angle and sauced with a red wine black peppercorn reduction, it has just enough char on the outside to balance the medium rare I love inside. Along with taste, I love that it comes with my fav vegetables-haricot vertes and absolutely perfect French fries! So unlike popular steak restaurants, at LaReve you get more than just meat for the list price! Yum + Yay! The desserts? They are as gorgeous as they are delicious! The case is filled with sweet perfection, each one more beautiful than the next! Just so hard to pick which on.! And the macrons are iconic-crisp outside and soft chewy inside, take a few home with you! But what a treat to find a Kir Royale on the menu last night at dinner before a show! I’m sure it’s a direct effect of Emily in Paris Season 3, but maybe I just never noticed it on the menu before! I served these for Christmas ten years ago and when I saw Emily working on an ad campaign, I just knew they’d start to show up on menus soon. Lucky me! Bon Appetite! This place is great for a girls lunch or business lunch, A friends dinner or date night!“

“First off, sat at the bar, service was phenomenal.Tried the oyster mushrooms, arab bread with dippings, pork schnitzel, and duck pasta. Overall mixed feelings. No single dish worked perfect imo, and nothing blew me away.The oyster mushrooms themselves were good, very very crispy, but they came with some olives, a bit of feta, and some olive oil. It was lacking. Needed more of a sauce, something with more substance than a drizzle of oil and the mashed olives.The pork schnitzel itself was really good as far as pork schnitzel go. However the sides did not fit the schnitzel.The pasta was just mid.The bread and pepper spread were delicious but i would rather some other spread instead of the pickled veggies and chickpeas.Drinks were good, skipped on desert because of main plates not being as good as expected.“

“We went during lunch on a Wednesday and sat in the bar area. There wasn't a wait for a table or for service. Best fried calamari I've ever had, and the t-bone was to die for! Service was excellent too. I had never been to The Capital Grille. It was excellent.“

“We saw this place come up while looking for a nice dinner spot but ended up somewhere else, decided to come back here for brunch the next day. Opted for the Ham Bacon and Cheese Pannekoeken, topped with a beautiful sunny side up egg with a deep orange yolk, presentation was beautiful, flavor was amazing, staff were courteous, the restaurant itself is beautiful too. I didn't get to try any of the beers but they looked to have a large and diverse selection of European options. Easy 5 stars. The waffle and Bae Toast also were tasty. “I've been here twice now and it's my new favorite breakfast spot. Most recently took the husband and kids for brunch. There were 6 of us and we all enjoyed our food. I've had the Sam I am stuffed French toast both times I've been there- it's soooo good. Hash browns that come with it are crispy and delicious too. My husband had a breakfast burrito that he enjoyed, one of my kids loved the overstuffed croissant sandwich and my other kids seemed to enjoy their French toast. We also had the mini donuts, which were great. Service was fantastic. Love the atmosphere and the fun music that's always playing as well.“

“We've been here a few times, and the food is always pretty good, but I'm pleased to say we've finally had something that we thought was really exceptionally well done, which was the Buffalo Cauliflower Bites. These were really excellent, and I would probably get them instead of wings here in the future. The rest of the meal was good as well, a wide variety of options are available, so I'd say this is a good option for family or business meals where you need something to please different palettes. Conveniently located directly on a HOP Streetcar stop as well.“

“Nice place with plenty of indoor seating and multiple tables outside. Extremely large selection of their beer on tap so regardless of your taste you will find something in the style you enjoy. Personally the Fish Fry Rye was excellent and very easy to drink. Looking forward to going back for their brewery tour and trying their other beers.“

“It was a busy Saturday night with both bridal and prom parties being served and so it was a bit noisy. Servers were busy moving tables around after the parties left and so were somewhat inattentive to our table. But the food was delicious. The Hollander version of a Reuben, with turkey and ham instead of corned beef, was excellent as were the fries that were served hot. There is a wonderful menu with explanations of the tap beers.“
