“Good beer and great atmosphere. Grab a pizza while you're here, it's one of the best in town. Inside is nice but their outdoor area is fantastic. Also very dog friendly. They have dog treat stations and water bowls throughout.”
“I'd recommend stopping by Hatch Distilling if you're in Door County to try out their drinks, both their spirits and the mead from their Mixed Meadia label. I was only able to stop for a short time so couldn't fully explore their cocktails, but the flight I had took me on a delightful range of flavors to give me a good sense of what they do and prompted me to get a few bottles to take home with me. On the mead side, the Vikings Blood & Honey and Lemon were my two favorites.Hatch has a large parking lot, a cool indoor seating with bar and variety of tables, and a nice patio (that I enjoyed). The bartender was helpful, and patient, as I tried to make the stressful decision of which items to select for my flight. There were more that I wanted to try than what I ended up trying, which is a good problem to have!”
“My husband and I did an overnight in Door County. Many of the nearby cafés seemed to have off season hours, but Big Easy was open. We enjoyed fantastic coffees and two of the most amazing breakfast entrées anywhere. The staff was exceptionally friendly. We'll be back the next time we're in town.”
“This was one of the only restaurants that was open during this construction phase in Egg Harbor. We didn't expect much from a golf course restaurant but we had a really good dining experience. The waiter was great, and the food was excellent. Our portions were huge so we had meals for another day also.”
“W.Jacksonport's best bar is back! With the best of the old (PBR sign, bathtub in the Ladies) spruced up by Gator for an authentic DC experience. Cold beer and pickled eggs, pool and darts. Be sure to visit during baseball season: town ball on the field of dreams out back is not to be missed. Go Ports!!”
“Ate breakfast this morning with my mom here and the food was DELICIOUS!! Our waitress (didn’t get her name but a very sweet younger woman with short blonde hair) was extremely attentive and everything came out fast! There was also a tall young gentleman who was bussing tables who checked on us and we noticed was very attentive and friendly to all the other guests as well. We will definitely be back next time we are in time! The portions were big and for a great price!”
“Absolutely thrilled with our experience at this fantastic restaurant! The atmosphere is unparalleled, and the architecture is simply amazing. Our visit, courtesy of a trolley tour, was a delightful surprise as we practically had the place to ourselves. The family-friendly vibe made it feel like a warm Thanksgiving gathering at Mom's. The bearded gentleman overseeing our experience went above and beyond to ensure everyone was happy, reminiscent of my uncle's genuine hospitality. The fish sandwich was a taste sensation—utterly delightful! Without a doubt, I highly recommend checking out this gem of a place.”
“My wife and I booked Pink Bakery to do our wedding cake in October of 2023. Kim was incredibly helpful in helping us make decisions and providing options for cakes and desserts. She was very accessible and always responded when we had questions, both via email and on the phone. We were also able to adjust our order according to the final guest list, she was very accommodating! We are very grateful that she was able to deliver the cake herself to Sturgeon Bay, and it was absolutely fantastic. We opted for a vanilla cake with raspberry compote and a chocolate ganache drizzle for our cutting cake, and then cookies & cream cakes for the other guests. These are, by far, the best cakes I’ve ever had. Our guests devoured the cakes, leaving very little left over! You will not be disappointed by Pink Bakery for your special occasion.”
“Fantastic food and professional, friendly service. A perfect dinner for our romantic weekend getaway. I highly recommend the flourless chocolate torte for dessert.”
“We ordered bulk food for a party and it was great. Chicken, brisket, coleslaw, beans and potato salad. Trisha was very nice to work with, everything was packaged and ready when it was supposed to be. Very good.”
“4.5 stars. We had the andouille mac and cheese....delicious. Service was very good. Only criticism is that it seemed a bit overpriced compared to other places we had dined. The atmosphere/decor did not match the price.”
“Well worth the stop. The restaurant is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Disappointed because I really enjoyed the Chili and wanted to go back for another bowl. All around good food.”
“The coffee here was absolutely amazing. I haven't had a Carmel mocha latte that good in my life and I drink more coffee then most people. Very impressed check this place out!”
“This place is seriously awesome! Food was fantastic, the concept is amazing, and the staff was beyond friendly. My kids absolutely loved it and have been asking to go back. Thank you for a great dinner/evening.”
“Wonderful spot for a fish boil and better than the more touristy options in the area. This small restaurant serves traditional fish boils and cajun fish boils on alternating days. We arrived without a reservation just after one of their boils, and the owner and hostess were gracious enough to make room for us. We thought we’d be served leftovers, but the owner went outside and freshly boiled an order for us! We missed the official show but instead got to watch from the warm interior. Reservations are expected, don’t assume you’ll get lucky like we did.The restaurant is really cute and clean. There is a lovely view over the harbor and the boiling kettle itself. As far as I’m aware, there is no menu and no options. If you’re there on a traditional or cajun night that is what you’re getting. They did have a nice variety of alcohol. The price was a bit high but fair for the experience and quality. The staff were only okay, but I thought their slight edge was fair given the end of an exhausting tourist season. The owner was very personable and took the time to help many patrons debone their fish. The traditional fish boil is served with the fish itself, potatoes, a sweet onion, corn, coleslaw, and bread. The bread was pretty good. The meal looked simple when served but ended up being delicious. The fish had a good flavor to it and came from nearby waters. The potatoes were livened up by the melted butter. The owner makes his own cajun seasoning and sauce. The liberal application of both made the meal even better. The corn and sweet onion were great. The owner described the onion as taking on a candy-like flavor and he wasn’t wrong. The coleslaw was great (my companion described it as the best she’d ever had). This meal is a lot of work to eat given the inevitable picking of bones. Therefore it’s probably not a great first date spot, but very cute for couples who know one another and can deal with some fish bones. They served cherry pie for dessert, which was the weakest part of the meal. Overall this was a lovely experience.”
“Really cute places with great coffee, assortment of cars games, dessert, food and drinks. Make sure to check out their daily specials. They do a great job of maintaining amazing ambience.”
“So glad this place was reinvented into one of our favorite stops in all of Door County. The building sat empty for many years before reopening about three years ago. It has it all - food, beer, wine, and a market. There is no where else you can grab a drink and shop. Their food is fast, affordable, convenient, and most of all delicious. Their nachos are loaded with a protein of your choice and fresh ingredients. These are some of the best nachos I've ever had. The pork is tender and smokey and the beer cheese sauce really take it to the next level. This time o tried their nacho special - Hawaiian (pictured) which came with pineapple and jalapeño salsa, pulled pork, sweet bbq sauce, and topped with cojita cheese. My husband loves their rib tips which come with a choice of sauce. They have most of their hot sauces available to try on your food before purchasing in their market. Other menu items include tacos, walking tacos, hot dogs, soup and salad. Bridge up brewing has something for everyone. A great selection of their own beers and guest beers. They even have NA, sour, cider, and seltzer options. If beer isn't for you they also have wine available. The market has it all - canned items, fresh baked goods, frozen door county specialties, etc. They also have a good selection of novelties such as games, jewelry, and gifts. There is some indoor seating, but the outdoor patio takes it all. Lots of tables with umbrellas, large fire pits, and yard games for the whole family. There are board games and cribbage board available inside as well. Make sure it add this place you your list, it has something for everyone!”
“Blue Horse Beach Cafe was such a fun stop! My husband and I loved the drinks we got, he got a double espresso and I got a large iced chai, my chai was pretty milky, but still delicious. We waited for 15 minutes before going up to ask where our drinks were. They had lost them in the business and kindly made them right away. It was no problem at all and they were super nice about it giving us a cookie for our troubles. Overall it was a great experience, the staff was very sweet!”
“What a gem! Tucked off the main highway this place is one well go to again. Unassuming, homemade menu, kind staff, and a simple upmorth atmosphere. (The balsamic dressing was so good on the greek salad.)”
“As the menu states, the pizza takes 30 minutes but well worth it! The beer and wine selection seems carefully and intelligently curated, and the gentleman behind the bar manages the entire place with ease, even though he is the only one there. Will definitely return again soon!”
“Where can you try five free samples of wine before purchasing? Door Peninsula Winery, that's where! Our server, Tina, was wonderful at making recommendations according to what we told her we like. Since it is our first visit to Door County, we asked about things we should see. Both Tina and Dory (Mama D) gave us a list of things that they thought we would enjoy. Needless to say, we qualified for 10% off on our purchases!”
“Stopped by to try their fish fry. It was very good. I had the perch and my girlfriend had the cod. The Valmy fries were good and something different. Friendly staff. The only con for us was the cole slaw. Not saying it was bad but we like it a little creamery. That is not enough to keep us away in the future! We will definitely be returning in future visits to the Door and letting other family members know about our new find!”
“Nice cozy breakfast place! The apple cinnamon scones were the best I have ever had. They weren't hard like a brick like most scones. They were crumbly and nice and creamy tasting. Waffles were delicious--bacon was perfect.”
“Honestly the only thing bad about this place was the attitude of the man hosting, seating and taking the phone calls.Otherwise it had a great atmosphere, the server was extremely knowledgeable and ran off all of their multiple specials and descriptions off the top of his head. We had the lobster tail and the special of sea bass and the food was absolutely divine. Definitely a must visit!”
“Really enjoyed stopping by yesterday! The barista was super friendly to chat with and had great drink recommendations, plus the cappuccino she made was phenomenal! Definitely will stop by again when I'm in town!”
“Breakfast burrito bowl 10/10! I don’t love breakfast food but the burrito bowl was excellent. I purchased coffee and homemade pickles from the shop, the pickle only last about two days when I got home. Soooo good!”
“The drive from Sturgeon Bay is a bit long. The road in egg harbor is under construction, so the detour takes you out of the way. Julies hotel is wonderful, quiet, and prices were the best in the area. My one issue is that the floors are heated and the temperature doesnt drop under 70 degrees. So middle of winter, I had to use the A/C. I dont like to do that at all.”
“Having traveled the world and experienced all manner of foods, this was without doubts, one of if not truly the very best pizza ever. It’s taste was only matched by the genuine kindest group of individuals one could hope for.”
“Went in for dinner on a Friday night. Had the fried cod dinner. The fish was cooked beautifully, it was very flavorful and the breading was light and crispy. This came with homemade potato salad, coleslaw, and rye bread, all were very good. The coleslaw was the best I've ever had. The service was fast and friendly. This is a cash only restaurant; however this is posted on the menu so you know before ordering.Parking: Nice large, free, parking lot, right next to the building.Wheelchair accessibility: Very nice ramp available”

“We got their Spicy Sicilian, thicc bread, and single Cesar salad! Everything was absolutely delicious! My partner and I were visiting from Chicago and this is absolutely better than pizza in the city! It’s absolutely delicious, and the the customer service was great. While we waited, we got to enjoy a cherry ale and a Cookie Monster stout from One Barrel Brewing Company!Pizza Bro’s thicc bread by far has been the best garlic bread I’ve ever had. Not overcooked. Delicious and just full of flavor (butter probably, but still delicious haha). This place is a MUST visit. We will definitely be back next time we are in Egg Harbor.Vegetarian options: Margarita Pizza, or DIY pizza. For the Spicy Sicilian, they were able to do half of it with no meat.”
