“Stopped by for lunch while on a trip to Sturgeon Bay and this place was so good! I have to eat gluten free so I ordered the BLT on gluten free bread and it was delicious. Also ordered their spicy chai which was equally delicious. We picked up a few of their to-go soups to enjoy at home. Would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free”

“The food at this cool little place was fantastic! While everything I ate in the Sturgeon Bay area was good, I felt the sandwich I ordered here was outstanding. The dessert was also yummy!”

“Food & drinks: Great specials! Had the lobster risotto, was delicious! Wine and beer selection smaller yet fine. Hubby craved comfort food, he really enjoyed the meatloaf. The waitstaff and atmosphere so worth our hour drive and overnight stay.”

“Absolutely amazing staff. My son was having a panic attack because there was a little butter on his waffles without any hesitation the waitress came back to the table and offered to have a new waffle made for him even though she didn't have to at all. This waitresses patients was absolutely amazing and helpful thank you so much. When I'm back in the area I will definitely be back. Much love to the morning glory by the bay for saving the day.”

“The gravy for biscuits and gravy was a tad bland. We had great service. My hash brown sammie was good. To big of portion to eat but good next day. Bacon was nice and crispy. Good coffee. Nice people. Will be back. Good pancakes ”

“What a gem! Tucked off the main highway this place is one well go to again. Unassuming, homemade menu, kind staff, and a simple upmorth atmosphere. (The balsamic dressing was so good on the greek salad.)”

“It was a very good meal. The prime rib was the best that I have had in a while, very impressed. I am a little disappointed that they did not have filet mignon, but they did well with the tenderloin. The lobster. It was slightly dry, but it was still good. I would certainly go back for the prime rib. It was that good... The shrimp cocktail appetizer was very good also.”

“Where can you try five free samples of wine before purchasing? Door Peninsula Winery, that's where! Our server, Tina, was wonderful at making recommendations according to what we told her we like. Since it is our first visit to Door County, we asked about things we should see. Both Tina and Dory (Mama D) gave us a list of things that they thought we would enjoy. Needless to say, we qualified for 10% off on our purchases!”

“We were there on a Saturday night, and my husband and I both ordered their specials. I had Tenderloin with Grilled Shrimp, and he had the Prime Rib. We were both very pleased with our food - the steaks were done to perfection! This was our 3rd visit to the Nightengale, and we will be back the next time we're in Door County!”

“What a great family owned restaurant!! The service and food was excellent!!!! Nessa was a fantastic server and even told us a little history about the business and the building. Brad(the owner) was friendly and inviting, and all of the patrons at the bar made us feel right at home. Thank you!!!!”

“Great variety of beer. Thank you guys so much for having Greens, a gluten free beer option! Y'all are one of the few in the area to offer a GF beer. “Of all the great wineries and distilleries in the area, this we had to rate as mediocre. Nice view, friendly service. The beer did not wow us but it was good.And, a bit confusing to find. Signage is subtle and location in the building is slightly odd.”
