“5 stars all around. Good coffee and snacks for the parents and tons of stuff for our 3yo and 1yo to do. the worst part of the visit was telling the kids we had to leave! this place really took care to make sure that all the bases were covered - diaper changing stations, plenty of toys to go around, diapers/wipes if you ran out. will be going back here for sure.“
“Tucked away behind the big street, but in a busy intersection, this place is really nice.I’ve been hearing so much about this place that I just had to come and see for myself.I love the open, bright, airy atmosphere. It’s big and has lots of tables to accommodate a large crowd, which is nice, since it does look like it gets quite full. We were there on a Saturday morning, around brunch time, and the place was still popping.Being on keto, I just stuck with the coffee and skipped the pastries, though I’ve been hearing good things about them as well. All the coffee comes sweetened unless you ask for no sugar.I got the Marib, which is their medium roast with cardamom. I did enjoy the ethnic experience, though I must say, I’ve never had coffee with cardamom before so it was a bit powerful, though pleasantly so. I would like to try it without the cardamom next time just to taste their straight black coffee. It looked like they just added cardamom powder to the coffee, so maybe I can ask them to give it to me on the side and add it after trying just the black coffee. Also, I was pretty swamped on this first visit, but now that I’ve come home and researched a bit and know what cascara is, I would love to go back and try their cascara coffee - maybe the Sheeba, again with ginger and cinnamon on the side and then added later maybe.I love being able to try new things and finding something I like. The people working here were very nice and excited to share their knowledge with me. Looking forward to future visits!Oh, and my friends had the Mufawaar with all the sugar and cream and cardamom and said it was delicious. I’m sure!“
“The food is supper good and the environment is beautiful. The strawberry cheesecake Gelato tasted more like cheesecake then some cheesecakes I've had. Also we got a fruit drink and it came with a bunch of really fresh looking fruit cut up in it. The person behind the counter was very friendly and helped us pick out what we would like since we had never been there before. While the prices where a little high you definitely get what you pay for.“
“Everything is awesome...I know it's hard to believe but it's true. Their candor is dope, Devin is a wizard of brewed things and trust me, the bagels (everything bagel is my fav), croissants, macrons & bread loaves (the pizza bread is amazing for grilled cheese sandwiches) are fantastic. The new breakfast toasts are also worth checking out too. Below is a "pop tart" they made last week and I never knew a pop tart could be elevated but WOW. Awesome.“
“Love this place, best var for craft coctails on the west side of milwaukee/suburbs. Been here so many times, food wise they just have a few simple apps like a giant pretzel, or a cheese platter which are all fine, tgey dont have a full menu butnypu can vring food if you want. Drink wise they have a nice selection of craft beers and a changing list of craft cocktails based on the season. There are unique flavors, and something for everyone from sweet to dry and everything between, all well balanced. Its in on old fire station so there isnt much indoor seating but lots outside & a gas fire pit for warmth.Parking: Only street parking available“
“New owners still getting their feet grounded. Sort of an unusual place. Mexican and Thai food. Talked with the owner, a very nice guy. They are still experimenting with the menu choices, based on the customer preferences. We would dine again.“
“I’d give 6 stars if I could! What an absolute gem with incredibly warm, welcoming staff and DELICIOUS food! The chilaquiles are not to be missed. The cocktails are well made and the prices are so reasonable. Can’t recommend highly enough!!“
“First-timer, I stumbled upon this gem via Google, the top result when I searched ‘breakfast near me’. Arriving around 1 pm on a bustling Sunday, we, a party of two, found the place busy but efficiently managed, with just a 15-minute wait. Our server, Ms. Cathleen, was friendly, efficient, and didn’t waste a moment. She provided great recommendations and was honest about the restaurant’s limitations due to the weekend rush, which we appreciated. For my meal, I opted for the Bacon Skillet w/ scrambled eggs and american cheese, accompanied by diced potatoes. Instead of toast, I upgraded to pancakes. The skillet was incredibly flavorful, especially the unique bacon, earning it a solid 10/10. The pancakes were flawlessly cooked—fluffy yet substantial. The owner also made a memorable impression with her warmth and personal attention, which enhanced our overall experience. In conclusion, Park Place Cafe exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it. I’ll definitely be returning. Thank you, Park Place Cafe, for a fantastic dining experience!“
“The cake was absolutely amazing! The design was everything we wanted. Customer service was very good from meeting with the design team to planning the delivery and the execution of the delivery. Our guests loved the flavors of our cake. Great service! Great company! Thanks Aggies Bakery for playing such a major part of our day.“
“By far my favorite place to get my coffee! Everyone is friendly and the service is top notch. I ordered the Lemon Blueberry cake for Easter. This was rated the best dessert by the whole family! I am already anxiously awaiting the next holiday to see what desserts are available!“
“I cannot say enough about this place. They are hands down one of the best coffee and garden shops around. The food is excellent, the coffee is phenomenal, and the service is even better. I've been coming here for many years now and everyone is a pleasure to work with, from the owners to the managers down to the general employees. You can tell the family ties run deep within the company! Sara and Holly who run the coffee shop are always my favorite to run into. They greet you with a smile and sometimes a joke. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a great day. The atmosphere here is great for anyone. I'm sure anyone can find something interesting to come here for.Parking: Big lot in front and off to the sideWheelchair accessibility: No steps with automatic doors“
“I absolutely am obsessed with this place right now! They actually do decent sugar free drinks and both the blondie and the brunette sugar free varieties are delicious. Not much in the way of food here but if all you want is coffee this is a great stop!“
“Cranky Al’s was our dessert choice for our wedding and WOW, they did not disappoint! We started with a quick meeting with Joey where he asked about our favorite candy, donut flavors and wedding colors. From there he curated the perfect mix and helped us choose from one of their beautiful donut stands. Joey and his team handled drop off and pick up which made the process seamless. Cranky Al’s donuts were the HIT of our wedding and we cannot thank you enough! Kaylee & Brian“
“The smash burgers are amazing. The paninis are huge and delicious. The coffee is Milwaukee's own Pilcrow!!!!The bar is delicious. The lower level vault is a speak easy that is so fun. I enjoy karaoke Tuesdays but it seems like lots going on all the time.“
“Thrilled to have a Chilean restaurant in Brookfield! Visited this hidden gem for breakfast after hearing about it from a friend. It's tucked away in Stonewood Village, and there isn't great signage yet. Walked in and we were immediately welcomed at the front counter by Alejandra, the owner. The vibe is eclectic yet comfy - it was perfect to sit in the great room near the big picture windows to enjoy our breakfast. We both got the veggie omelets and I had a cappuccino - both were great. She wants to add more Chilean options for breakfast, but said she needs special cookware from Chile to make it authentically. I definitely want to come back for the empanadas and Chilean donuts!“
“The brown butter dark chocolate mocha I recently had was easily the best espresso drink I have ever tasted. Super balanced between the espresso and flavoring and didn't have that grainy-textutre iced mochas sometimes have. I visit this area every few years and Stone Creek Coffee has been a must-go every time!“
“Very nice set up and atmosphere. The baristas are always friendly. For some reason the crowd always seems off putting whenever I enter though, almost judgey. I haven't been there in a while so maybe that has changed. The chai tea latte is amazing there!“
“Quick, quality, and fun service to get in and get out.Food: Good coffee as well as select food options. They have bakery here as well as sausage rolls. They’re actually mad decent if you need a lil snack.Atmosphere: nothing special. Casual. Fine for working inside or outside on their sidewalk patio.Service: really friendly and quick.“
“They have done some great things with this space. It is very cozy, with an eclectic mix of comfy furniture. There is a couch in front of a fire place! The coffee/lattes are middle of the road. There wasn't much flavor or creaminess to them sorry to say because the antiques and the environment are very comfy.“
“first time going here and we were intrigued a lot by the choices. everything on the menu was detailed and they even had a tablet with pictures of some menu items. the items we got tasted phenomenal and better than starbucks and other competitors. the atmosphere is calming when needed and controlled when busy. dan is a really chill and you just feel relaxed. highly recommend“
“Love this local coffee spot. I can't believe how inexpensive their pour over is. Great they use Valentine beans as well. I've had some of the muffins that were delicious also the breakfast sandwich. The staff are typically pretty friendly but understand being busy. Go to spot since it's close to where I stay when visiting. outdoor seating is alright, booths inside are comfy but limited overall space. More of a grab and go spot for me.“
“I got the veggie scrambler and my brunch mate got the breakfast sandwich on the croissant. Both were delicious, good quality food and good portion size, without breaking the bank! Very satisfied. Locally owned (the person working today is the owner, she's very kind) and good tunes playing! Highly recommended.“
“A friend and I met here recently to try out their boba. I was craving boba tea, so I suggested we meet here. Neither of us had ever been here before. Bambu is located in a small strip mall. There is seating for about 12 or so folks, and I found a table easily. It was hard to pick from the menu. For a small place, there is an extensive menu list. So I ended up with a coconut mocha coffee with plain boba and it was amazingly delicious. There are so many other interesting flavors and drinks to try, along with smoothies, teas, chè, waffles, and others. While we were there, there was a steady stream of customers coming in, some staying in, and some going out. We were there about 45 minutes and by the end. The interior could use some upkeep (paint/walls). But, the staff were super friendly, and the drinks are great.“
“While it may not serve me to make this place even more popular, I am posting this review to perhaps give more people the opportunity to enjoy an Italian coffee bar experience in Wauwatosa. There is also a Walker’s Point location. Divertirsi!“
“What a cute place serving breakfast, lunch and coffee! Great coffee, delicious sandwiches, and fabulous service. I loved the chicken pesto sandwich! I will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: Egg dishes, granolas, vegie sandwichesDietary restrictions: Gluten-free options are available“
“Ordered several trays (tea cookie tray, bar tray, hand pie tray) at the last minute for a co-worker/friends baby shower. Everything was amazing, packaged beautifully, and most importantly it all tasted fantastic. Would definitely recommend and will be returning!“
“Great spot for meeting with others, working alone, or enjoying patio space. They offer multiple spaces to sit including a first and second floor patio. The coffee was great and I enjoyed the winter spice muffin which had mixed berries in it. The customer in front of me asked about allergy information in a pastry and the barista quickly looked it up in a binder for them.“
“Heard about Dia Cafe on Social Media. Check the menu out and decided to give it a go. Took family members with. Not disappointed at all. Lattes and Horchata made perfect. Rice Bowls tasted delicious. Definite repeat and highly recommend. Everyone was very nice. Very clean which is a big plus in my book. Going to be one of my new favorite spots to go to now.“
“I have lived in the "Joe's Cafe" neighborhood for six years now but had never tried the establishment. Last week, my husband & I gave it a shot. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL food! The portion sizes & quality of our meals was well worth the money. I would strongly recommend! ?“
“First time here. Met a friend and had a cups of hot tea. Didn't get any of the baked goods, but they had a nice selection of donuts from the National Bakery. Friendly and efficient staff. There wasn't a huge amount of seats, but enough tables and space to be comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to stop in again.“
“My daughter and I come here after school every Tuesday since they've opened and we've not had a bad experience yet. The prices are what you expect for a coffee shop that competes with Starbs. The general manager and team were so sweet to me today. I never tried matcha and they made me one to try with no pressure. I didn't care for it so I had them make me my normal caramel flavored concoction. The barrista made me a lavender matcha to try as well! Because he wanted me to get the full experience. So sweet and it felt very welcoming and as someone who hates returning food/drinks, they made sure I knew they were invested in me loving my drink!“
“Great brunch spot! Enjoy coming here for the breakfast sandwiches, their bread is fantastic. Plus some fun coffee options, we do the specialty mochas. Generally good customer service, but would recommend against online orders. The time estimates are useless, and on our previous order they changed the bread type twice before we picked up + the entire inside line was completed after we showed up in-person.“
“Small, quaint coffee shop with a sunny window to work out of. Adjacent to a sandwich shop.Fun seasonal lattes worth trying. It’s not my favorite Stone Creek location (there is a handful..try the location on Downer ave). But it still does the job if you’re just stopping in to pickup a coffee. Or if you need a little study break or work space. Not great choices for outlets. There’s 4 main tables if I remember right. But if there’s not space, then you could just go next door to Brueggers.“
“Had a great experience today at Honey Berry on Bluemound. It was nice to have the functionality of the Yelp Wait List to secure our spot in line. We did that as we left church and the timing worked out perfectly. Our server Chelsea B was super sweet, attentive and efficient. She seemed to have a lot of tables to care for and she did a nice job managing them in the crazy Sunday morning rush. For our entrees, my wife had the Fig and Bacon Omelette and I had the California Omelette with chicken sausage. The food came to the table quickly and was brought by a separate person, which was awesome. Both of our meals were delicious. On the "opportunities" side of things, it was *really* loud in the restaurant due to the low ceiling and all of the hard surfaces. Maybe that's something to keep in mind for any future renovations? Anything to soften/absorb things a bit would be helpful. We've also been to a few restaurants recently that have started to use that Scan to Pay option right on the receipt. We LOVE that and in the places that use it, it really seems to speed up the checkout process - plus it's one less thing the waitstaff has to concern themselves with. Overall, though, wonderful visit and we will definitely be back. Thanks for all of your hard work!“
“Love their teas, bought a lovely Chia, and 2 fruit teas, as well as a sleepy tea. Love them all, and have already visited their online store. Highly recommend the Strawberry shortcake, blood orange, peachy farmer's market, Nirvana Chia.“
“Great place, full of atmosphere. Excellent coffee and tea. The food is good with nutritional choices. I tried the Italian Wedding soup today, which came with a side salad. Both were excellent. Definitely try this place if you haven't yet. But make sure you have some time because it's always busy.Vegetarian options: There are optionsDietary restrictions: They are very good about any dietary restrictions. Things are labeled.“
“What an absolute gem to find as folks new to Milwaukee! Local. United. Small business. Fantastic service. Regulars don’t treat us like outsiders but instead, welcome us. We haven’t been here for live music yet, but treat ourselves to the delicious coffee and wonderful company when we can. Cozy place that builds community. Love it. Highly recommend.“
“Very busy & noisy there today. Waitress forgot to refill coffee & didn't bring us salt & pepper when asked. Food was good tho. My friends & I always look forward to coming here. Our favorite foods are: chicken pot pie, or grilled cheese sandwich & soup! We always have to shop upstairs after lunch!“
“One of the friendliest stores in the area! All of the partners on Saturday mornings are always in a great mood and their customer connections feel very genuine. The store manager is also often on the floor making connections and helping on bar too. Store is always clean! One of my fav locations.“
“I grew up on the North side and still consider it home. Milwaukee has its own subset of issues, as do all cities. I would attribute most of this to historical segregation and a lack of resources. Regardless, the people at the Sherman Phoenix Marketplace are nothing short of wonderful. Intelligent, welcoming, and exceptional. Strong men and women!!!! Thank you for the banana pudding, hand-made hats and ear rings, chicken wings, and engaging conversation!!“
“I am one to love a good coffee, but I usually have to have a breakfast sandwich or some kind of snack to go along with it. Biggby has the absolute best breakfast sandwiches!! I will drive here just to get a breakfast sandwich and a coffee on the side??? (The coffee is amazing too!)“
“The Colectivo on 92nd is so awesome. I’m on a 1st name basis with some of the baristas. We’ve been served by Cameron and Joe for the longest and always look forward to seeing them. They are all very friendly and make my experience an enjoyable one. My husband and I go often, late morning and early afternoon. My experiences there are so pleasurable that they make the rest of my day go smoothly just from the experience of being there earlier. That Colectivo is one of the reasons my Husband and I are seriously thinking about purchasing our next house in that vicinity. Thanks Guys!“
“I LOVE coming here! The food is great and the service is always amazing. Everyone that works here is very friendly and helpful.I'm sad I can only give Java Train 5/5 stars.Vegetarian options: Most options on the menu have meat, although there are a few without. If you are vegetarian, I highly recommend their egg salad sandwich on a croissant. They also sell many drinks, vegetarian friendly sides, and treats!Parking: Parking is directly next to the building.Wheelchair accessibility: The ramp to get in is connected to the parking lot. You will enter through the back door. It is tight, but maneuverable. While the ramp itself is fine, there is a bit of a lip between the ramp and lot. (You may have to go backwards over this.)“
“I love colectivo. The food is great! The ambiance is great! They have the best coffee in Milwaukee! I use to work at Starbucks and it is trash compared to Colectivo. The espresso is rich and the food is fresh. I go multiple times a week, it has a great study atmosphere.“
“This is the most convenient Starbucks in the world. When you have a Starbucks inside an organization, the stars are definitely lining up for everyone. The staff is so kind and welcoming. The decor is so colorful and subtle. The drinks are always so good. Keep up the fantastic work . . .“
“Parking: It really depends on the location. Some share parking with other establishments.Wheelchair accessibility: Usually on the first floor. No real impediment to getting in. Have tables with chairs, so you can move out of the way for wheelchairs.“
“I travel throughout the midwest & get DD daily. This location left me speechless, I had 5 people ahead of me in line. I was out the door in 4min with my order. The manager & staff were all efficient, fast, clean, & friendly. THIS IS HOW EVERY BUSINESS SHOULD RUN.“
“I'm trying to find out if Dunkin on 79th and Capitol Drive is going to be permanently closed. It's says that it's temporary closed. I believe this store and 79th and Capitol Drive are owned by the same person. Please let me know.“
“I am so glad I found this place! Such a cute and cozy vibe and the variety of drinks is really fun. Definitely the kinda place you’d want to be a usual at. A bit far from where I live but I’d come back to work from here when I have a slower day.“
“Smooth coffee. It was like silk!!!! Croissants were light and flaky. Absolutely delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Prices are a tad on the high side but you get quality in return so it's justified. Ambiance is wonderful. This place is literally a hidden gem.“
