“What a great space! Greeted and seated immediately. Waitress was very sweet. Food came out pretty fast and boy was it ever huge! I consider myself an eggs Benedict snob and Zisters did not disappoint. Hollandaise sauce was perfect. Nice bowl of fresh fruit with all berries! No tasteless cantaloupe or honeydew. I will be returning!!“

“Cafe Manna never fails to deliver amazing food! We started with the black bean soup....outstanding. The warmth of the soup and the hint of spicy flavor was a wonderful start. The spicy noodles, special carrot salad and gyro were all flavorful and presented well. We finished off by sharing the lavender lemon cake with raspberries. Highly recommend! Even our non- vegetarian guests were blown away with the excellent food.“

“Love this place, best var for craft coctails on the west side of milwaukee/suburbs. Been here so many times, food wise they just have a few simple apps like a giant pretzel, or a cheese platter which are all fine, tgey dont have a full menu butnypu can vring food if you want. Drink wise they have a nice selection of craft beers and a changing list of craft cocktails based on the season. There are unique flavors, and something for everyone from sweet to dry and everything between, all well balanced. Its in on old fire station so there isnt much indoor seating but lots outside & a gas fire pit for warmth.Parking: Only street parking available“
“Small quaint little brewery that is somewhat hidden on the Greenfield Avenue. You could easily walk past it. Beer selection was definitely serviceable. The silent disco was very interesting. It's is small so be prepared to be a bit cramped. Nice little beer garden out back when the weather is nice.“
“We have always loved the beer at lionstail. They now have in-house pizza, which is yummy. The staff has definitely gone down hill. We have been going since they opened and never had unfriendly service. Tonight was different. We had a giftcard we just got this past January. It was slightly bent. The bartender couldn’t get it to work and told us to go to Wauwatosa to use it instead. In the plus side the owners are still great and have said they will replace the giftcard for us.“

“We had potato leak soup- the best I have had. I had the half chicken special- super moist, covered in country gravy (choice of having it on the side) & mashed potatoes (needed salt) but real potatoes and good when salt added. Service was impeccable, we were there for lunch. Wheelchair/walker accessible back door. (would be a long walk). Outdoor space looks amazing- I plan to go back when the weather improves. Service was freaky fast. Bourbon choices galore & bourbon old fashioneds on tap. (I will be trying those next visit too!). Bonus -gambling machines too.“

“Tonight was our first time dining at Milwaukee Burger Company, we are from Chicago and our standards for a good meal is high. The dining experience, the food and the service was second to none! We were so impressed with our service, our waiter was Maurice! He was excellent, he took his time to explain the menu and offered really good add-ons! We will most certainly be back. Thank you MBC and Maurice for your hospitality.“

“My favorite steak in town…. “Steak au Poivre” can be found at this great French restaurant (French not not haughty) in Wauwatosa. Favorite steak as it tastes great, and presented well. Sliced on an angle and sauced with a red wine black peppercorn reduction, it has just enough char on the outside to balance the medium rare I love inside. Along with taste, I love that it comes with my fav vegetables-haricot vertes and absolutely perfect French fries! So unlike popular steak restaurants, at LaReve you get more than just meat for the list price! Yum + Yay! The desserts? They are as gorgeous as they are delicious! The case is filled with sweet perfection, each one more beautiful than the next! Just so hard to pick which on.! And the macrons are iconic-crisp outside and soft chewy inside, take a few home with you! But what a treat to find a Kir Royale on the menu last night at dinner before a show! I’m sure it’s a direct effect of Emily in Paris Season 3, but maybe I just never noticed it on the menu before! I served these for Christmas ten years ago and when I saw Emily working on an ad campaign, I just knew they’d start to show up on menus soon. Lucky me! Bon Appetite! This place is great for a girls lunch or business lunch, A friends dinner or date night!“

“I cannot say enough about this place. They are hands down one of the best coffee and garden shops around. The food is excellent, the coffee is phenomenal, and the service is even better. I've been coming here for many years now and everyone is a pleasure to work with, from the owners to the managers down to the general employees. You can tell the family ties run deep within the company! Sara and Holly who run the coffee shop are always my favorite to run into. They greet you with a smile and sometimes a joke. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a great day. The atmosphere here is great for anyone. I'm sure anyone can find something interesting to come here for.Parking: Big lot in front and off to the sideWheelchair accessibility: No steps with automatic doors“
“Huge open brewery. Their selection of home brewed beers will have something for everyone. It is pet friendly. Really like the self service watering station. Bubbler for locals. Water fountain for non Wisconsinites. They have 4 huge garage door which would make nice weather days a awesome environment. Definitely recommend and will be going back.“

“We came here for some pre-dinner drinks on a Wed night and it was so cozy and festive, and not too busy which was a plus! The bartender was so sweet and gave me lots of tasters before I decided on the Vienna Lager (so good!). The lounge area with chairs and a couch set a great mood to enjoy a couple beers after hitting the Christmas Market. They have the coolest mapping of beers on the wall, honestly so informative to understand what beers come from what family (with specific examples of each one) and what glasses to drink them in. Downtown Tosa was so cute and we look forward to going back!“

“The food and service here do not disappoint! A fantastic brunch experience, which explains the long waits. I appreciate the ability to see the love waitlist - somehow watching it get shorter makes the wait less cumbersome.I tried several things from the menu, and I would recommend all of them. Everything was made with high quality ingredients and perfectly seasoned. They have the best take on a banana split that I have tried in a very long time!I also commend their efforts toward sustainability. They serve water in aluminum cups, use locally sourced ingredients, and all takeaway packaging was biodegradable.“

“I absolutely am obsessed with this place right now! They actually do decent sugar free drinks and both the blondie and the brunette sugar free varieties are delicious. Not much in the way of food here but if all you want is coffee this is a great stop!“

“The ramen was delicious. I give that 5 stars. But the wings were disappointing. Tiniest things I've ever been served. Barely any meat. I won't order those again... But the ramen was so good, I'll go back again for that.Wish there was more parking. Had to walk quite a distance from my parking spot to get there.“

“Wow!! These are the BEST tacos I've had in Wisconsin so far! If you haven't tried them yet, you have to!! The place is a bit small, so it is best to come with a group of 2-4 people. The service was great, and the chef is amazing. We tried the guacamole, shrimp tacos (my favorite), and the birria tacos. Both tacos were juicy, delicious, and full of flavor. I cannot wait to come back!“

“Food is not why you go to this beer garden. It's fine for snacking, but food delivery apps are better option if you want dinner. Seasonal beer selection is good, plenty of choices no matter what your taste. Lots of tables, but limited inside shelter if raining. Live music on weekends (check website) is a fun bonus. Nearby playground for the kids.Parking: Parking has improved, but be ready for short walk during peak summer hours.Kid-friendliness: Playground is close, picnic tables near there you can enjoy your beverage from while keeping an eye on the kids.“

“Clearly a hot spot in Menomonee Falls, their fish fry didn't disappoint. It tasted "different", actually. It felt innovative. Moreover , they have more options for fish fry than the usual ones on at any restaurant on a Friday night. Our server was great. He was attentive and personable. It's a fun place, so it's loud and noisy...don't expect a romantic ambience. I'm looking forward to going back for trivia night!“

“Taking a moment to complement our hostess Karen, who was working the evening of Saturday April 27th. My wife and I were seated by Karen and then quickly decided that this was not the best table for us. I flagged Karen down and asked if we could have a different table. It had had been a very long day and an end to a very long week, and I probably spoke in a tone of exhaustion and frustration, but Karen saw through this and understood that our need was real, she cleaned and cleaned another table personally and got us reseated all in less than 3 minutes flat. Thanks so much.“

“Paloma is not only my favorite Mexican restaurant in Milwaukee, it also has incredible value for the food itself. The service is awesome. If there is a wait, which there most certainly will be because of good the food is, the hostess will offer you a drink to enjoy. The atmosphere is fantastic. It's not like all the new Mexican restaurants in Milwaukee where you can tell they just throw everything on top of a tortilla that has been made for the last 3 hours. Everything is authentic and made to order. I love Paloma and can't wait for their new location in Bay View to open as well.“

“Great spot for meeting with others, working alone, or enjoying patio space. They offer multiple spaces to sit including a first and second floor patio. The coffee was great and I enjoyed the winter spice muffin which had mixed berries in it. The customer in front of me asked about allergy information in a pastry and the barista quickly looked it up in a binder for them.“

“A cute corner shop providing top tier service, delectable nibbles and quality sips! So far, everything I've had has been great. My personal favorite/go-to is the lox bagel with a side salad. It's a delicious combination that hits the spot every time. I enjoy their indoor environment when it's not too crowded otherwise it can get a bit noisy. Their outdoor seating in the warmer months makes for a great setting to enjoy a nice meal, a cup of coffee, and the warm weather. Staff is friendly and attentive, to-go orders are always ready on time, and the place is always clean.“
“It’s been a while since we visited City Lights. The last time we went, I don’t believe food was available yet, and the beer selection was pretty basic. This was probably within a few months after they had opened. This time, we had dinner and there was a more impressive variety of brews to choose from. We had an enjoyable evening! We stopped in before a Brewer’s game to catch their shuttle. Much nicer than most of the bar shuttles around Milwaukee, and just a short ride from Miller Park. We were able to get dinner within an hour or so and hop on the shuttle to arrive about 20 minutes before the game started. The beers have vastly improved since our last visit. I had the Double Ditty (hazy double IPA) and the Belgian Wit with Guava. Both were nicely done, and the guava was especially tasty. Our server was happy to offer tasters for our table without making us commit to a full beer (the Cucumber Brut IPA was interesting but not something we wanted a full pint of).The food was solid; between the four of us we had a chicken sandwich, two burgers, and the grilled cheese. Their menu was somewhat limited, especially compared to what was listed on their website, but I’m going to guess that was because it was a game day? The grilled cheese I had was good, but it could have used a better variety of cheese or a little something extra flavor-wise included – it was good but wasn’t amazing. The fries were nice and crispy, but a little under seasoned and not hot when they arrived. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was friendly. The patio along the river is definitely a bonus. I will definitely be utilizing their shuttle service for games in the future and grabbing a bite to eat beforehand. Kudos to City Lights for their improvements – hopefully the next visit will be even better.Original review: 2 years agoReally nice location, large patio area. Beers were all solid, although the Coconut Porter and Double IPA were our favorites. The Irish Red was also good.“

“Parking is difficult now that a new company took away the extra parking. Went there twice in the last couple months the and couldn't find any parking. Had to go elsewhere. They have the best blue gill and potatoes pancakes. They also have a peanuty popper bacon wrapped. Oh yum!“
“Bibi is the absolute best! We absolutely adore her! She makes the bar what it is with her Bubbly personality, tasty bloody Mary’s (even late night) and her fresh friendly conversation. The bar chairs could use more options for the disabled customers they have, but overall A++ for customer service and good quality.“

“The owner and his son are usually there and always greet us. Waitstaff goes above and beyond, always moving fast. The food is awesome. Fast food places are more expensive then these guys. We order take out all the time as well. You will not find a cheaper restaurant in the area. I've been eating here multiple time a month for years and never had a issue. Great job you guys I tell everyone I know about this place.“
“Nice place. Cheap simulators $25 an hour and open to the public. Only went here for the st pattys shenanigans deal. $20 for 2 drinks, a guiness glass, and 10 shots for the closest shot wins a $250 gift card. Havent golfed here in the summer but the simulators were cool and staff were fantastic. Good food selection but didn't eat there.“
“Such a cute spot for downtown Wauwatosa! Lots of tables to sit at, friendly people, and good food. The pretzel we tried was huge and super fluffy on the inside! Will definitely come back to try more of the drinks. I just wish it was a bit larger and more spread out!“

“The food is better than typical bar fare. You might have to be patient when it's really busy, but the staff is great at making eye contact and acknowledging that they see you are waiting. I love their shuttles for Brewers games. Great deals on PBR, but top shelf drinks and some menu items are a bit overpriced. I got a basic grilled chicken salad, which was small for an entree, and it was more than $17. Food costs are up everywhere, though, so I can't really hold that against them. It was delicious. The patio in the summer is awesome. They live music and a walk-up bar where you can order drinks without going back inside. I recommend it for a fun casual lunch or dinner.Parking: On game days, parking fills up quickly, but there's street parking and a vacant lot next door where people can park.“

“Got seated right away, it's a real nice atmosphere. Waitress was very busy & doing her best to keep up. Was interesting to see robots delivering food to tables, then wait staff move it to customers. Was hard to choose a breakfast option, soooo many good options! We chose sweet & savory omelet & country benedict. Omelette was delicious & huge; I had leftovers the next morning. Benedict was also delicious w/really good country gravy which had a unique hollandaise flavor. Both could have been hotter. Coffee was real good. Pricey, but considering amount of food & overall experience, we'd go back.“

“I tried El Tlaxcalteca Mexican Restaurant for the first time today after searching for a local Mexican restaurant with authentic food and really good flavor. Omg! It did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is really small, only a few tables, but we were able to get a seat. The complimentary chips and salsa was delicious. The salsa had such good flavor and had diced up roasted jalepenos but it wasn’t spicy. They also provide 2 additional salsas in squeeze containers. An avacado jalepeno crema-like one and a chipotle flavored one. The crema one was amazing. I wanted to bring it home with me. We ordered the Birria pizza and the #3 Birria quesadilla. The Birria quesadilla wasn’t your typical quesadilla … it was better!! The corn tortillas were fried and super crunchy. The pizza was amazing. I was afraid it would be bready or just too rich… but it wasn’t it was perfect. I can’t wait to go back!!“

“This was my first visit. This place doesn't disappoint. I came for the Fish Fry and left with a lovely berry dessert and a frozen banana mocha iced drink. Everything was tasty, large portions, food arrived hot, and the waitress was super attentive. I love the whole farmhouse vibe, and decor was filled with cool antiques, and seating was inside and outside! The menu has variety (sandwiches, Fish Fry, and fresh made pizzas)! They have a small bakery inside the restaurant and a coffee bar, and even a boutique on the 2nd floor. I will be back for sure!“

“The qualifier to this review is that I don't drink but I found myself in a bar for a Yelp Elite event that did not happen. So I figured I would check it out. The decor is campy. I mean like a camp deep in the woods. Many taxidermy animals throughout. Pop music plays at a volume that is actually good for conversation. A couple of large screens show the game of the day. The service is fast - I observed. There is a non alcoholic menu with favs like Old fashioned and Moscow Mule. Now If I am gonna go to a place that doesn't have any prices on the menu, then I am going for leisure and to have fun with friends. It looks like a good spot to bring folks who like a quirkly bar experience and where folks can kick back and socialize. I am looking forward to coming back when the outside is open!“
