Tables were jammed together so that a trip to the bathroom was an obstacle course. Would love to visit this place again, but will bring earplugs next time.“

“Went this past Friday (1/19/24) for the first time. Absolutely amazing. Ordered samosas to start, and the pastry was flaky throughout with tender potato and peas seasoned beautifully. Ordered my normal first-time “test” entrees of butter chicken and chicken tikka masala with garlic naan and buttered naan. Chicken was fork-tender, the spice profile was perfect, and the traditionally clay-baked naan was amazing. Gulab jumun for dessert was the perfect size and not overly sweet. Will absolutely return, and recommend to everyone I know.“

“First time here. 5pm on a Tuesday. Was greeted right away by the smiling hostess. She proceeded to seat us at our table that was already set (we had reservations). Very nice relaxing atmosphere and a cozy bar. The service throughout the night was outstanding. Several different people stopped by often to clear a plate or refill waters, and all were very friendly. 3 people had filet, and I had a strip steak. A couple of us had the mushroom truffle soup that had short rib in it and really enjoyed it. All 4 steaks were cooked perfectly, and the 3 people that had the filet were very happy. Though my strip was cooked perfectly, the amount of fat that was left on it is unacceptable. If I'm going to pay around $50 for a steak, I'd prefer not to lose 4 bites of it due to fat (not the kind that you can chew). “Stopped in for lunch today because we had heard good things about this place. Great views from dining room windows. We were a party of three and 2 of us had ribs and my wife had pulled smoked chicken. The sides of smoked beans and tots were really good. While I never really expect ribs to be great at lunch, because they are usually the leftovers from the night before, these were really pretty good. The sauce they came with was excellent. Service was great and prompt. All in all, a place we will return to.“

“Finally tried this place on a rainy Thursday afternoon during a Badgers Big 10 tournament basketball game. Newly updated but still maintained the perfect dive bar atmosphere. The bathrooms were super clean. It looked clean and organized behind the bar. Food ingredients looked and tasted fresh. Hubby had the philly because he can't say no to cheese sauce, and I had the newer to the menu southwest wrap with crispy chicken which was HUGE and delicious. Homemade chips were super thin and crispy and not burnt tasting like some can often be. Tracy behind the bar gave us great service. We will be back!“
