“It’s hard to make food a sexual experience but the Spicy Shrimp Po’ Boy f***** my face. Fuckin’ F**** a lot of places tone spice down for ‘general pop’ but this place gives it to you raw. If it says spicy it’s spicy but it also delivers a balance of flavor with heat. It was an explosion of awesome in my mouth. So, if you are looking to eat some delicious food while in Madison and need a foodgasm, visit Stadium Take Out you will have your mind blown.“

“We were in town for a show and swing in for their Tuesday chicken sandwich special. Probably one of the absolute best chicken sandwiches we’ve had. We planned on splitting a sandwich but after a minor mishap, chef ended up making us each a sandwich and my oh my it did not disappoint. Great service, fantastic craft cocktails and delicious food this place will be on our Madison list of places to frequent when in the area.“

I wasn't going to to write this review because I'm kind of selfish and don't want to ever stop by Wilson's for another Friday Fish Fry (service began at Noon) and learn that hundreds of people read my review and finished all the fish before I arrived. “The Weary Traveler was a nice little joint we found during our recent vacation in Madison Wisconsin. It had a menu of sandwiches as well as other assorted main courses. I started with an appetizer of a Wisconsin Meat And Cheese platter which came with an assortment of artisan meats and cheeses as well as some crostinis. There was also some mustard and preserves as well. This was all really delicious with the bleu cheese being my personal favourite. I tried fome baked buffalo wings for my main course which were fairly large and had decent flavour. Not the greatest wings I've ever had but quite good all the same. My wife really loved her Rueben sandwich as well. The decor was really unique and the service was excellent. It definitely fed these weary travelers quite well.“

“This was a really neat hole-in-the-wall that is connected to the neighboring bar. You order at the counter and your food is delivered to you. The menu is on the small side, but everything I tried was quite good. Not much atmosphere for itself, but the bar it is connected to has tons of wisconsin dive bar atmosphere.“

“This would not be a four star restaurant in Paris or New York, but it is a four star restaurant in a motel in Madison, Wisconsin. I had the sirloin twice during a three-day stay in the motel and found it miles ahead of one I had at a popular bar not far away. I carefully described how I wanted it cooked, and it came just that way on each of the two nights. The mashed potato side is delicious and should not be eaten by anyone!

This is not a fancy restaurant, but is quiet and pleasant. Eating outside on the patio is also enjoyable. Since we live close by, we will be coming back regularly for the excellent food at surprisingly good prices.

Edit: We did go back again last night and I and my son both had the steak. Strangely, it was a lot thinner than before. Maybe 5/8 of an inch instead of 1 inch! It was still cooked correctly, but was no longer exceptional. My wife again had the spring rolls and she indicated they were not cooked as well as before. Also, I should add since people are reviewing it, that the breakfast for motel guests is no big deal. It is a run-of-the-mill motel hot-table breakfast comprising scrambled eggs, probably from powdered, and those little sausages instead of the bacon that the best places have, etc. So only four stars, but still a nice, modest place we will return to.“

“Our reception had the perfect setting at Garver. So spacious and flexible in design that every one of our ideas was doable. The staff were so creative and attentive to whatever I wanted. It can be so overwhelming trying to deside but Danelle was so good at helping to nail down our vision and make suggestions that enhanced our vision. “NOT recommending Madison Mineral Point Road location. Husband ordered a mushroom Swiss burger. Got home, and it was a melt sandwich, overcooked and greasy. Not an option to return to get the burger he ordered. He waited forever the first time. Not calling either. It isn't worth the time and effort. Even if he had ordered this melt sandwich, I would still say it was greasy and overcooked. Sorry to all the good locations. Have never had a complaint about Culver's previously.“

“We had some free ice cream tokens to use use, so we stopped in on double strawberry day. It was delicious, but they certainly have reduced the amount of ice cream they give for a single serving. The cup was less than half full amd, to be honest, looked pretty empty. I'm glad it was a free serving because we would have been disappointed to pay for it otherwise.“

My belly was blundered with beer and oysters! The crew behind the bar? A lively bunch, quick with a pour. They showed no haste as I slobbered down about 50! Now this right here… this is the treasure I’ve been searching for!“

The staff was also very knowledgeable about which frosting colors and mix-ins were gluten free and made the perfect custom cake in the agreed timeframe.

“Stopped here with a friend on a road trip through Wisconsin—we didn't have plans in Madison but I wanted an ice cream break, LOL. I usually get a cup but the smell of freshly made waffle cones was too tempting! I don't usually get vanilla but I'm glad I did this time. We went inside only to use the bathroom; the dining room is cute.“

“Best drive thru service I have ever had! The food was hot, fresh, and appeared as it did on the actual menu. This Burger King is by far the best one I have been to... I used to work for Burger King in Jefferson County back during college. I think the few Burger Kings that are left in Wisconsin could really learn something from this particular location.“
