We got the bruschetta (with Brussels sprouts which was a fun seasonal spin), pistachio pasta which was so unexpected and delicious, and the shrimp diavolo pasta which is a classic but was done very well and used the top tier bucatini.
As an Italian who lives in Chicago I know good Italian food and this is truly amazing. Definitely worth a visit, we’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in town!”

Megawich is a light hearted & fun concept with silly names, but their sandwiches are no joke!! The balanced flavor & textures absolutely astonished my taste buds! Bold spices & seasoning... perfectly executed meat/cheese/sauce ratio, all on a local Sciortino's fresh baked Italian bread! ... I ordered the Chicken Catcher w Medium Hot spice 🔥 & seasoned fries WOW!... Surprised, would be an understatement. It's a humble, simple, "no frills" sub-sandwich place, but w high quality ingredients & baffling bold flavors. I'm hooked! This is easily my new favorite casual go to!! “I've been curious about this fresh food vending machine for a while now. I was in the airport where everything is more expensive and with smaller portions. I follow a plant based diet and have limited options at this airport. The screen told me to use the app to save money so I did. The app was extremely easy! I could see all the options with pictures and full descriptions like a menu. I ordered a salad along with a wrap because they looked small. I was wrong the salad was large! On the side of the machine you can take a bowl, napkins, and eating utensils. The screen is user friendly but I enjoyed the details in the app. In the end I got a coupon from using the app and found a discount code online that I also added to my order as well. Once i completed my purchase the app gave me a code that I put in on the vending machine and I then received my order. The food was extremely fresh my salad was cold and crisp! I was surprised at how much food was in the salad container. Each component was fresh and delicious. I was not expecting all this at an airport or from a vending machine. I will definitely seek out this vending machine in the future unfortunately they are not in my current area.

That is why I gave five stars for the atmosphere. The inside was also nice. If you are looking for the best tasting food you can probably skip this place. If you are looking for a really good place to sit down with a really good ambiance than this would be a good place.”

Together they satisfy all my sweet salty and savory cravings with a comforting hot beverage. It’s always civilized in there, everyone keeping their voices to a mellow decibel and the greenery all over in the living walls is over the top beautiful. In the summertime it’s gorgeous outside. Michael and his staff are always hospitable and polite and you feel like they’re family taking care of you. It’s a terrific little gem tucked away in a sweet spot. Go there for healthy ish eats but mostly go because it feeds your soul.”

While other places in town are good as well, there's something special about the vibrant color of the curries, as well as the consistency of the food from order to order. I discovered this place during COVID, when it was carry out only, and easily ordered from them once a week in late 2020 - early 2021. It's still a wonderful spot for carry out, and the restaurant itself isn't large, but I am happy to have the option to enjoy the food in the restaurant now as well. The main server, a kind Thai lady who has never given me her name, always calls everyone honey and is genuinely excited and appreciative when the food is complimented. The entire atmosphere is a good, cozy mom & pop kind of place. I cannot recommend it highly enough. 10/10.”

If you’re looking for good paella in Milwaukee - look no further. The chorizo was amazing and had a great spice.
The menu is easy to understand - there is either an 8 course menu or you can paella (which comes with an appetizer, dessert, and cava, sparkling wine). Because it’s a small operation, you pretty much pick from a few options.
When we walked in, we were greeted by Chef, who is a wonderful cook but also so welcoming and kind. The service was very personal, which added to the dining experience.
It’s hard to pick if I preferred the appetizer, the Valenciana paella, the flan, or the bread pudding. They were all delicious! I will say, the flan was unique in a way that I really enjoyed.
Overall, I’m looking forward to returning here on a cold winter night or a long summer evening.”

It’s a self seating arrangement so can be a bit difficult to find a spot during weekends. There are 2 stations 1 to order food and another for drinks. They have a good variety of beers alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Price is decent for the beer, food is expensive. We tried cheese curds and it was delicious. They have patio seating as well but we didn’t try it since it was a cold day when we visited.”

Being a foodie, I had asked for recommendations in some of my foodie groups. I heard the meatball appetizer was a must have. It wasn’t on the menu for some reason, and I’m glad I asked as Frank, our awesome bartender/server who is in the family didn’t realize it wasn’t. I have zero idea how you get meatballs light, fluffy, not dense, but these were them. And the sauce! Beyond fresh, light, and delicious. Eggplant Parmesan fries were also super light and served with the same delicious sauce. And then the pasta… Capellini alla Caprese (which was Frank’s recommendation). From their menu: “Handmade angel hair pasta tossed with sweet Roma tomatoes, genuine Prosciutto di Parma ham and an Italian soffritto (olive oil, onion and garlic), finished in a light chardonnay-cream sauce and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.” This was also super clean, light, and just delectable. The bruschetta appetizer we did not order, but the people next to us did, and I asked to take a pic. It looked amazing, and the girls eating it absolutely raved. The tiramisu - not much to say other than chefs kiss! I literally want to go back and try everything on their menu. This was for sure one of my favorite new (to me) places and I will be back for sure! Also a shoutout to the other bartender Shea… she was an absolute gem. All of the staff we met were super friendly and helpful. Love places like this!”

We had a table of 5 on a Saturday and had a blast. Awesome server (I think her name was Libby?) had excellent recommendations for both tapas and drinks. One little slip-up with a paella dish and the management were on it like white on rice. Just superior service- the kind that doesn't seem to happen much anymore.
Food is incredible. Everything was delicious- I won't recommend anything in particular because we tried the whole menu and loved it all. Drinks are stellar- the sangria is a must have.
