“I’ve been to Beach Bum Bakery a few times now. From the items I’ve had (donuts, cookies, cupcakes and breakfast sandwich) most items have been good. I was there recently on a weekend morning to get donuts and a breakfast sandwich. As I was there it went from just a two people in the shop to 15 people, thankfully I had ordered prior to all these people arriving. The two employees working did seem a little overwhelmed and frantic. I was able to get my donuts in a timely manner but the breakfast sandwich took about 25 minutes to get and it only had one small/thin piece of bacon on it that was torn in half.
Note: the employees were very kind, I could just see the distress on their faces and they were trying to get caught up. The other times I’ve been here the service has been much quicker than what I experienced.”

“It was our first time at your restaurant; I brought my two children who are wheelchair users, and my twelve year old. The hostess didn't bat an eyelash: just got is to an appropriate table, which is something that is rare. The server was helpful and kind. The food is delicious: love the broasted chicken and Cole slaw. My daughter's burger was nicely done. The onion rings were perfect, and the root beer was refreshing. Thank you for a lovely dinner in Pewaukee on the 4th! We will come again.”

It’s not quite a dive bar, but has that same laid-back, no-BS charm. Heard good things about the steak sandwich—can confirm it lives up to the hype. Solid lunch spot with a comfortable vibe, decent menu, and just enough grit to keep it real.”

Food was good (but not over the top), service was a little slow and scattered but overall a nice experience. “Rox Bar & Grille is, hands down, our favorite place in Waukesha.

My wife Haley and I have been coming here since our second date, and it’s been our go-to spot ever since. As a gay couple, feeling truly welcome isn't always a given — but at Rox, we’ve always been treated like family. This place is inclusive, kind, and just plain awesome. Accepting of all views and beliefs regardless of what they are, without openly pushing beliefs onto you.

The staff? Absolutely legendary.

Julie is our bar mom. She's been cheering us on as a couple since day one, and we love her deeply. She truly cares about her customers, and it shows every time we see her.

Amanda is the ray of sunshine everyone needs. No matter the day, she lifts your spirits and keeps the energy high — all while being excellent at what she does.

Iris is no-nonsense and all heart. She's an absolute powerhouse behind the bar and clearly gives 110% every single shift.

Pano is the up-and-comer to watch. Friendly, driven, and already a star — he's the future face of Rox, no doubt (sorry Dino and Hari 😄). Oh, and yeah, he's young and handsome — bonus points!

Rosa is the definition of dependable. She treats her regulars like family and always seems to know exactly what you need before you say it.

Raoul is the man. Always welcoming, always cool — he treats us like we’re longtime friends, and that kind of warmth sticks with you.

Mandy? Mandy makes the sh*t run. Organized, sharp, and essential. Everyone needs a Mandy in their lives.

Dino and Hari — you’re the foundation of this whole place. Nothing more needs to be said — you two are just f***ing amazing.

Beyond the staff, Rox has everything: karaoke nights, live music (Ryan McIntyre on Thursdays is our fav!), darts, gambling machines, and killer drink specials.

The food? Wildly underrated. It’s high-quality across the board. The gyro pizza and gyro nachos are our top picks, but we also love the reubens, wings, spinach & artichoke dip with pita, turkey bacon wrap, crispy fries, and those perfectly extra crispy tots. Honestly, we could go on and on. And don’t forget — Spring City Restaurant is right next door and part of the same amazing family.

They also have an awesome variety of alcohol and great merch — yes, we proudly own Rox shirts!

Rox Bar & Grille isn’t just a bar. It’s a home away from home. We can’t recommend it enough.”

“I went with my mom and friends to play bingo and it was a blast! We had played and sadly I didn’t win but friends at the table took home over 1100$ that night. We ordered chicken tenders and fries and it was great tasting and a healthy portion. Mom ordered the Italian sausage sandwich and I was impressed with this as well. Great place for a night of family fun. Proceeds go to a good cause as well.”

“Popped into Krankys across the street after lunch at Carlee’s. Different vibe, same idea—locals hanging out, bartender who actually seems to enjoy being there, and no shortage of cold beer. Place has some age on it in a good way, like it’s seen some stories but won’t make a big deal about them.

Didn’t eat this time but the grill smelled great, and a couple guys at the bar were hyping the wings. More TVs than you’d expect for the size, and a few games in the back if you’re feeling lucky or bored. Good spot to settle in for a drink without any nonsense. Solid neighborhood joint.”

No fault of the wait staff. ordered a pizza and salad, They ran our card through 4 times. then would not refund us 3 of the pizzas and salads, much less the tip. Then sent us home with 4 pizzas 1 salad and 2 garlic monkey breads... They comped us Nothing!!!! We asked for reimbursement of the 3 charges in gift cards, manager said No, they don't have gift cards... Manager Said the could not give us a refund!!!! what a scam”

“We had a party of 12 on the Fourth of July after having made a reservation earlier in the week. Our server Phoenix had other tables as well but she was friendly, happy, and super attentive (give her a raise!). Everything was great and she met all our needs with beverage options and special requests and we all left super satisfied.

I had the 10” “Just Meat Pizza”. Pizzas are made to order on a prepared crust and cooked in the oven. But it was a light, airy, yet crispy crust—see photos. Plenty of hand added meats but not too much to make the pizza greasy. Sausage and pepperonis had spice but not over powering. And just enough cheese to get a nice cheese pull without being too heavy.

I will definitely be back for the ‘all day breakfast menu’ and to try many of the other foods on the menu!!

Overall a wonderful experience. Just to note 20% added for large parties (though we gave here more cash) and 3% added for credit card payments.”

“I get take out from here often. As far as american chinese restaurants in the area (city of waukesha, village of pewaukee) it is probably my favorite. You will have to go east toward milwaukee to find better. Kings wok particular dishes that I like are the best beef lo mein and the best kung bo chicken!”

“Huge shout out to Casa Tequila in West Bend for my experience tonight. My 2.5 year old son had a puking incident there and the staff were all so kind. Our waitress, other waiters/waitresses in our area, and the woman who came over to help clean things up were so wonderful and also so nice to my son. No one looked disgusted or irritated. It was just amazing. The service is always great there, and same with the food. Thank you Casa Tequila West Bend, I will never forget your kindness in a stressful situation.”
