“Absolutely amazing staff. My son was having a panic attack because there was a little butter on his waffles without any hesitation the waitress came back to the table and offered to have a new waffle made for him even though she didn't have to at all. This waitresses patients was absolutely amazing and helpful thank you so much. When I'm back in the area I will definitely be back. Much love to the morning glory by the bay for saving the day.“
“We got a to go order. The food with the exception of the Mediterranean wrap was great. The Mediterranean wraps were just a very small amount of vegetables with dressing in a spinach wrap. If you are getting a to go order you will need to ask for condiments, they were not included or offered. The salad my daughter got was great as well as the chicken sandwich and the burger. The fries, onion rings and deep fried cheese curds were good as well.“
“Great place for food and drink. We had their pizza and it was amazing. The sauce had a nice flavor, they put a good amount of each topping on the pizza, and they had a great variety of topping to offer. I highly recommend this local eatery. You won’t regret it.“
“Oohhh I’ll forever love this place. The burgers are to die for, great drink prices and better food prices, Brad and all the waitresses are just wonderful. They treat you like you’re in their home, I continue to go there every time I go to Door County. You will not be disappointed“
“Very clean and cozy diner with all the classic breakfast items. We both enjoyed the hashbrown omelet, which was full of veggies and diced ham. Coffee was hot and servers were always going around with the pot for refills. Personally wasn't a huge fan of the coffee they're using - but a hot cup of coffee in the morning is still a hot cup of coffee in the morning. Service was great with staff prompt and friendly.“
“A local gem for local yocals. Poh’s playfully pushes back on the out-of-state tourism typical door county/sturgeon bay attracts. If your goal is to find a great dive-bar with a menu special that’ll make ya laugh and leave a lasting impression, look no further & leave a generous tip.The music is loud, but it was an excellent sound system. Only wish was that there was an old-fashioned juke box, but I’m sure those are expensive to maintain.“
“I've always thought Culvers was, overall, a better than average fast food place. I rarely eat fast food these days so here goes.Friendly serviceBetter than average fish sandwichGood friesCleanliness was greatWhenever you are in Door County and are hungry, Culvers is a top contender for great food.“
“There are scores of places to eat and drink in Door County--easy and casual, high-brow and fussy, classic steak, lots of fish, and conceivably everything in between. Let me be clear: if you like good food (actually "great" food) and amazingly reasonable prices: GO TO THE INSTITUTE SALOON. Do it today, do it next week, just do it. I've been coming to DC for 40+ years. Last night was the first time I stepped in the Institute Saloon. Shame on me. Menu is extensive. We had burgers, clam strips, and hand cut fries. All delicious. We also ordered a box of broasted chicken to go. Best damn chicken I've had in a long time. Drinks were great. Denis, the proprietary was funny and friendly, and the pig-themed atmosphere is a hoot. Did I say the food was great and so affordable? Well then I've said it again. I've spent a ton more for crappy meals in Door County. Don't make that mistake. Add this joint to your go-to list.“
