“Our waitress, Kayla, went above & beyond today! This was our first time here & everything was great. We were celebrating our granddaughter's 21st birthday. She was impressed with the Monte Cristo & fries. I requested the cod special baked instead of fried. It wasn't a problem for them. Thank you for a relaxing lunch. We will be back!“
“Best pizza in the entire Madison area. The online ordering for pickup is a breeze. We've not done delivery bc we live too far away but it's worth the drive. When ordering online it tells how long for pickup, and that time estimate is always spot-on. The food is always consistent too, so there's never a bad experience.“

The pizza was great, My significant other got the pizza and we decided I'd try something else so I tried the shredded beef with au jus which was a new item on their menu. I'm sorry I will never ever get that again. If we come back when we're down in Madison again, I would definitely stick with pizza. My beef tasted very very gross.... definitely did not taste right.PIZZA though was GREAT!!! The pizza in the picture is half BBQ pork and half deluxe, I found that awesome that they're willing to do half and half of different pizzas. The hand tossed the crust is definitely airy which tastes amazing and you don't get that bloating after you ate a piece.“

“I visited this diner because sir hobos was closed for a family vacation. And I was NOT disappointed.The average crowd here will Definitely make you feel young...The pancakes are immaculate. Honestly best pancakes I've had in a long while. Fluffy but crispy at the sides. Exactly like mom would wake you up with on Saturday mornings.I would say the atmosphere is very ideal for a diner. They are kind enough to print large examples of food you're waiting to receive. The ambiance is a quiet nod to the early 2000's Tuscany kitchen remodel.And I love that they kept the old stainless steel coffee thermos. And they do a great service to the city of sun prairie for all the kindness they show the geriatrics. Dispite some of them being quite nasty to the staff. Wait staff - I see you and the patience you so undeservedly give.I did have to remove a skunk point because there was an onion on my pancake (not very big but I was still disappointed) and the hash browns were mid.Basically grandmas right, visit this place“
“Cocktails and Misto salad were fantastic. Pizza was ok. This was our first visit and we’ll try pasta next time. Waitress was great.Parking: We had a 5pm reservation and the parking lot was already full. Give yourself enough time to hunt down a spot in the neighborhood. Not too difficult“
“Best sandwich, #1 Italian sub. Today I bought some “garlic toasties and one was missed marked. The gentleman at the register caught that it was missing marked and corrected it immediately. I was very pleased that he was paying attention and not just going through the process. Love this place.“
“We just went for the first time, and it was fantastic. Attentive and friendly staff, and everything we ordered was amazing - from the drinks to the entrees (prime rib, lasagna, and a pizza) to the desserts (profiteroles and oh, that creme brulee!). We will be back, regularly, and we recommend it!“

“I ordered on line and didn’t get the confirmation email. I called the store and they had the order as pick up the person answering my was quick to be able to change my order. I was not able to get a confirmation for delivery time… but short after what would have been pick up, my delivery driver was here! I was not expecting so soon but he was so friendly and wanted to be sure I had my food! Every single order from Sal’s… all the staff are so wonderful! Amazing kindness!“
