“We just moved to the DeForest area, and this location was recommended to us. We enjoy smoked meat and all of the associated sides, so we decided to check out out. We were warmly greeted, as if we were regulars, and quickly seated. Our server was very friendly and helpful with the menu. Our food was served quickly. Our server's recommendations were right on the mark. We really enjoyed everything. The cheesy potatoes and the cornbread were our favorite sides. I tried one of the platters to sample so that I could sample several mains. The ribs and pulled pork were favorites. The brisket was good, but not really notable, as was the chicken. The gumbo soup was also great. The meat was served "dry" and there were several bbq sauce choices to help take the food in the direction you enjoy. We've already returned and will continue. The prices aren't really a bargain, but they seem to do a solid business, so they're apparently appropriate for the local market. Definitely recommend.“
“I saved an opening announcement for this restaurant but forgot about it until I found it with my recipes recently. We really enjoyed the dumplings and Happy Family dish we picked up Thursday. I like dumplings and so often suspect what I get was bought frozen. Not the case here. Wrappers are thin as opposed to thick and doughy. Filling is tasty and includes a range of ingredients. Happy Family was meaty and flavorful! YUM!! We will be back!!“
“We just went for the first time, and it was fantastic. Attentive and friendly staff, and everything we ordered was amazing - from the drinks to the entrees (prime rib, lasagna, and a pizza) to the desserts (profiteroles and oh, that creme brulee!). We will be back, regularly, and we recommend it!“
“The friendliest restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. The food was hot and came out within 10 minutes. Not only will I go back but I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.Kid-friendliness: The servers were extremely kind and my son loved the kitty cocktails.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that is a bit long to get to but has a nice gradual incline.“
“This place is a gem!!! The Columbian Chorizo is amazing, as are the natural juices... they have Soursop! Our waiter was the best, sharing what he missed about his country. Beautifully decorated. I love in particular how each province/state was commemorized outside of the bathrooms.“
“I have missed this place! I don’t live in the area anymore, but I made it a point to get dinner here tonight since I am visiting. My chicken egg foo young was just as amazing as I remember. The steamed dumplings were huge and had better flavor than most! My chicken egg roll was very well filled, it was super crispy and it was big compared to many as well. I wish there was a place this good close to where I live now. I had to wait for a few minutes for my food because I was early…they gave me free almond cookies while I waited. It was very sweet. I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.“
“Tasty lunch buffet with plenty of options. Food was hot and fresh. The dining room was occupied but not so busy that we couldn't find seating. Tasty desserts, not cloyingly sweet. I liked the fish. Goat curry had nice flavor but was a little tough. I liked the spinach, the pickles, and the black lentil dal. Darjeeling tea turned bitter but tasted good at first. The naan was awesome. The chicken was nice and moist too. Good attentive service. Will return.Vegetarian options: Some paneer stuff, spinach, coconut soup, naan, dal, beverages, desserts“
“I highly recommend this restaurant because the food is delicious! We ordered the shrimp boil with corn on the cob and red potatoes, with a side of sugar donuts as an appetizer. We shared the meal because the portion was huge! It was about enough for two people.I would definitely order food from here again to go eat at my home, but I don't think I'd come to sit down here as the atmosphere is just ok and nothing special.“
“Panda Garden has been one of my favorite spots for years!! (Sun prairie local) The food is great! The people that run it are good people. Try the he fun (thick noodle) and i love the chicken teriyaki and the spring rolls. Dad likes the crab rangoon and sesame chicken. They can do gluten free for Mom too. 8th best chinese food in the nation (they won an award for it) and i agree - certainly best around here!Dietary restrictions: They can do gluten free for my momParking: Parking lot is free, there are spots in front of the building“
