“I will be honest- I had lower expectations when we walked it. The interior could use a small upgrade. But holy cow- the food was amazing and service was fantastic. We drove a bit over an hour just to camp, I would do that again just to come here again. Prices are very reasonable, drinks are strong, burgers are out of this world- the perfect Wisconsin pub.”

“My wife and I went to this restaurant this evening for the first time. Our experience was fabulous! The Wedding Soup was divine. The lasagna was absolutely scrumptious. The Tiramisu was the best ever. Carrie, our waitress, was friendly, polite and very professional. Carmelo, the owner, asked us about our experience, and we told him that everything was just wonderful. Carmelo informed us that his wife made the Tiramisu and that his son made the lasagna. Everything was homemade and delicious. We will definitely visit this restaurant again soon. Very highly recommended Italian Restaurant!!!”

“We come here 2-3 times a year we are from Chicago burbs…. Great place great food I never had anything I didn’t love we have the Philly cheesesteak omelette and waffle… great service and everyone cares there!!! We love this place!”

“We popped in for lunch and had an excellent experience. First we debated if in fact the entrance off the parking lot was really the entrance but once we figured that out we made our way into the dining room. It was a weekday so it was not too busy. The staff was super friendly and very welcoming. We started with their fantastic focaccia bread. Wow - light and airy with a nice crust and just the right amount of salt. I ordered the hot ham sandwich. The ham was juicy, the bun super fresh and the sauce and cheese perfect. The Cole slaw was also very tasty with a nice zing. The others in the party split the goat cheese and beet sandwich - unusual but delicious. They also tried the spaetzle "Mac & Cheese" which got another thumbs up. Finally we finished with their chocolate pudding. We all agree that it had the texture of a mousse. Very good! We plan to return the next time we are in Port!”

“Parking: On street parking and lot parking both free ..no over night though..usually carry out ...call before for added time saving...it's popular so keep that in mind...these folks are good people trying to give you great food and service.”

“I recently moved to Newburg and was excited to see all of the new restaurant options to check out. My first experience was take out of Cork N Barrel (which is walking distance from my house!)I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger Wrap,the Black n Blue Burger, the Barrel Burger,and the Jumbo Patty Melt with a side of Mac n cheese instead of fries.I was a little confused where to go to pick up my food, but was quickly pointed to the kitchen area up the steps.(When you walk in it just looks like a bar). Parking on the street was easy to find.The macaroni and cheese was delicious!! I will definitely be getting that again. The barrel burger and the jumbo petty melt were amazing!! I think the patty malt was my favorite thing so far. The black and blue burger was pretty good except it was a little disappointed how simple it was. But everything was cooked to perfection!!Next time I might try eating there instead of take out because it looks like a great atmosphere.Highly recommend!”

“The outside renovation is beautiful for large groups and includes a stage for bands. Indoors is pleasantly updated and features your typical Wisconsin bar decor and games. Good mix of a townie bar and a place I'd bring visitors. Great space for large groups and a great location. Staff has also been helpful, friendly, and accommodating in my experience.”

“The pretzel combo appetizer was so delicious and amazing!! They served it and I freaked out!! It made me so happy!! Huge fluffy delicious pretzel the size of an extra large pizza filled w giant Mac n cheese bites and chicken nuggets and cheese curds! Each tastier than the other. You had me at giant pretzel!!!!! And of course cheese for dipping. Ordered the fish combo for dinner - omg the scallops were magical. The fried fish lightly breaded and oh so tasty. Would definitely drive 2 1/2 plus hours to come back. Seriously, the pretzel alone are what dreams are made of”

“Tello's ( pronounced Tay-o's)is now open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, daily at 8 a.m. until 9 p.m., and is my favorite breakfast place. From their omelettes to their pancakes to their breakfast skillets, their food is always excellent, and the service is matched. Their willingness to adapt to the needs of diners is remarkable as well. With busy friends who are retired, breakfast is our favorite social meal of the day, for we then have the rest of the day for other activities. Tello's involvement in community activities is notable. He supports Little League, and other activities, and was one of three major businesses who contributed to the Breakwater's painting during the pandemic, when they hung on by curb service and catering. I have heard that he throws pizza parties for kids. Be prepared whenever you dine here to take a "doggie" box home, which my dogs never get. The decor was designed and installed by a national artist, to reflect the Mexican countryside, and it is intriguing. This is a casual family place with excellent Mexican, Greek, and American food, and a children's menu is available, served with crayons. Tello's is handicapped accessible from the parking lot, and there is outdoor dining, weather permitting. A private dining room is available, and there is dining also in the bar. I am an almost weekly customer, and have never had a negative experience there. I recommend it.”

“Stopped by for a belated Valentine’s Day and so happy we did! Great value for a tasting, service is prompt and friendly. I love that they have a good selection of wines - I prefer dry reds myself, but there’s other varietals with multiple levels of sweetness. Prices are good, am planning to return!”

“We got the tempura cauliflower for an appetizer, which was good. I was surprised the sauce came on the side, I would have assumed it'd be tossed, but the portion size was generous and tasty. I got the hipster sandwich, which was a lot and definitely not able to be picked up. I feel like less is more with this dish. I don't think it needs as many toppings and it would still have been delicious. My husband got the Friday fish fry beer battered and smashed potatoes. The coleslaw was good and we're generally not coleslaw fans but the dill dressing made it stand out. The location is amazing, would return again.”

“Booked a hunt with our friends at Drexel Building Supply as our ice fishing trip was canceled. Lunch was provided (pheasant tenders and cheese burgers) and they have beer/pop available as well. Lodge was very nice - and clean. Ordered 30 chukars and 8 pheasants, ended up with 20 chukars and 10 pheasants. Birds seemed very healthy. Quote a few different fields to hunt - we were in a sorghum field with good cover. Dogs had a blast!”

“2nd time there with college friends. Fantastic both times. Had the Twisted Pear Burger. Med rare as ordered (they asked!). Loved the gorgonzola cheese and fig jam. Get the cheese curds too. Fresh, hot and gooey. Lisa was our server both times. Even tho she was slammed with a full bar and big party in the back, she made sure we were happy. Great place in a tiny town. Go!”

“My lemon drop martini was disappointingwhich is upsetting when it's so expensive and not even topped off. It tasted like all lemon juice no vodka or simple syrup. Cheese curds could have a different plating so they don't come all stuck together in a greasy lump. Baked potato was underwhelming and seemed old. My prime rib was cooked perfectly just lacking in seasoning. The French onion soup was delicious.”

We had the most amazing cupcakes, cookies (still warm from the oven), and our cutting cake.Bob and Ellen were amazing to work with and even came to set up our dessert table in between flipping the space. They were so sweet and we would recommend them for any event but they knocked it out of the park for our wedding.”
