“I love that the gomae comes as a roll. The spicy agadashi Tofu could be spicier, but the Tofu itself was bouncy and fun to eat like mochi if you're a texture person. The flavours for the garlic and jalapeño on the oushi were very intense. Black cod was delicate and tasty and tempura fantastic.“

“we were a large group with 2 booths and a table. our server was Alex and he was welcoming each of us with a smile. He was very fast and efficient in his service skills. To handle a large group of over 18 people, he did a tremendous job. The food was good and the atmosphere wonderful. There is underground parking which is so convenient and you can take an elevator or the stairs right upto the restaurant.“

“Bring your appetite and empty bellies :) the happy hour after 9pm is totally worth the price.Came back to Cho Cho during daytime and the food never disappoints. Everything is esp fresh and very very filling. They have select dim sum available in the daytime along with their usual choices of fresh ingredients to choose from. We ordered the unlimited drinks but I was only able to try one flavour since I got really full.“

“My experience with this food store was so amazing. I visited here very first time with my gf. We ordered Medium $12 pizza deal.They prepped our pizza in front of us. They called us for choosing the toppings. We were surprised to see how they were making our pizza. It just took 5-7 minutes to our pizza. Me and my gf planned to do dine-in. We bought couple of things like dips and drinks too. And we had beautiful time in store with yummy food. First time ever we finished our whole pizza and i think it was because of loaded toppings.We will definitely come again!“

“Had my birthday dinner here with a couple buddies. Food and service were both amazing. our server Julie (I'm sorry if I'm not remembering correctly) was amazing. She was pleasant and informative and took the time to explain the menu because it was my first time there, and best of all she was attentive. She would check in every so often and was just great over all. I got the 14oz NY strip medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. I dont see why anyone would go to the keg anymore with a place like this literally across the street. 10/10“

“There were eight of us. We had a reservation. We were celebrating my 67th birthday and retirement. This was the perfect place. Was our first time and no regrets. The portions were enough. The service was wow..E and C gave us such great service. The wine was perfect both red and white. The Calamari was the best i've ever had and i'm a lover of calamari. There being eight of us we tried different dishes on the menu and everyone enjoyed their choice.Was the perfect place to be. “We only discovered this brewery yesterday through a friend. We got to sample a testing and fell in love with all the selections. We checked out the actual Brewery today. “This place makes the food just right! Great service, great quality food, even their Boba is better than specialized boba store. The restaurant is spacious with private booth, works well for either a casual date or a big party gathering. Their washroom is also very clean. You get free 2 hour parking as well. “The meal was a big one. Three people ordered two left portions. The portions were generous and even the two women and one man couldn't eat them. The taste was good. Both the sausages and the meat were delicious. The potatoes were not bad either, but the pork chop was a little hard and the overall taste was bad. Very good??“

“This is one of our favourite haunts for fish-n-chips even if it is a bit out of the way for us. The fish has a light batter that is still crunchy. The deep fried oysters have been consistently good last several times we went there. The staff has always been great - the busy kitchen staff would greet you if the host/hostess was elsewhere. The dining room staff has always been cheerful.This is in the northeast corner of Kensington Square. The plaza mall has plenty of parking - very convenient.Parking: Plenty of mall parking. Some street parking east and of the mall, on Grove Avenue.“

“Must have been here a 50 times over the last 10 years. It’s our all time go to favourite sushi restaurant in the Burnaby. Volcano roll, Holdon roll and Las Vegas roll are always a crowd pleaser in our house hold. The owner (I think) is the collector of actions figure, so lots of displays around this mini but cozy place.“

There are lots of gluten free, dairy free, vegan and/or vegetarian options not listed on their website, but are on a printed menu in the restaurant. Mind you, the graphics that tell you what's what are tiny and faint, so it's a bit hard to read or take a photo of in low lighting. Everything is made in the restaurant, so they can actually tell you what the ingredients are, and the food is great. Nice atmosphere and lighting, and the owner is very friendly. I went with a group and the service was a bit slow when it came to taking our drink order and bringing drinks around, considering there weren't many other tables, but overall the experience was lovely! I only wish their allergy-free options were listed on their website, to make ordering take out easier. Having so many options is overwhelming, lol. I had the Imam Biyaldi and the Bourekakia, and having a phyllo-like rice pastry was such a treat. “I haven't been to this restaurant for a while even though it's right in my neighborhood. Now I'm wondering why it took me so long! The waitress was friendly and seated us promptly. We ordered Sfinaki trio dips, grilled kalamari & mousaka. Every dish was delicious. Tarama dip was my favourite. I'll definitely be going back.“

“This is my family's go to Pho restaurant in Burnaby. Portions are big and service has always been very top notch (The owner is very attentive). I always get the Beef Number One Special here and it has always been consistently good. I've had pho at other places, but this one stands out the most and I can't figure out what it is that makes their Pho so good. If I could give 6 stars, I would.“

“A true gem of Brentwood. Generous portions when ordering vermicelli and the spring rolls have got a crispy + chewiness that I find really addicting. You can never go wrong with their chicken wings as appetizier as the lemon pepper sauce is amazing and the wings have a nice fry coat. Service is always quick and the location is clean.My only gripe is the hours of operation. Closing 8PM on weekdays and not open on Tuesdays is a real shame. I feel like the rising density in the area should be able to financially support later hours.“

“Hello, I have not had the privilege to go to your wonderful dining establishment. My wife and her friend did today for lunch and she sent me a message asking if I would like some food for home. She had naan and butter chicken and lamb curry. I said yes, please. She arrived and announced she had dessert as well rice pudding and something called a "honey ball". I exercised my adult privilege and ate dessert first! The consistency of the rice made it the pudding. It was silky and melted in your mouth. Western rice pudding like Kozy Shack the rice sits in the pudding like mixture. The rice here was suspended in a cold sugary broth. The creamy cold broth like lake was sugary but not cloying. That honey ball was like a 5 star, Heavyweight Champion World Cup winning donut hole. The cake was spongy and its outer layers soaked in that broth however the cake and shape retained its integrity. It was heavenly and sublime. Then I had just a taste of the food Best Lamb Curry I've ever had. Meat was seasoned so well and it melted in your mouth. The homemade Naan was so perfect. I wish to come back with my wife and our friends. Thank you“

“This is a restaurant that I would like to evaluate as fusion Japanese food rather than authentic Japanese food.The price is a bit high, but the overall taste and quality of the food is good.When I visited, I saw that most tables were eating cream pasta, so I ordered it and it was delicious.In the case of Yuza Chashu Ohsi, the taste of yuzu at the end balances out the greasiness of the pork.In the case of Spicy Tuna Ohsi, red pepper paste sauce was used to reduce the greasy taste of the tuna, but it would have been more delicious if the red pepper paste tasted a little less.Overall delicious food!“
