“WOW! - Really happy we found this place when we moved to Burnaby!!. We tried ordering Aloo Gobi on Door Dash from 3 other local restaurants and were disappointed until we ordered from Tasty Planet! Their Aloo Gobi is super yummy, tastes authentic, is perfectly spiced (**but they always follow order notes perfectly as we like it extra spicy**) , and they always fill the container FULL! I also appreciate that they listen when I ask for less oil/ghee - We found our new fav Indian restaurant!!!Vegetarian options: Aloo Gobi is fantastic!”
“This pizza is amazing. So tasty and unique. Love the garlic flavor that you can add on to the sourdough crust. It's a 10 out of 10 pizza. Bonus part staff are friendly. See you again soon”
“A fun selection of rolls, fresh nigiri and sashimi. Great local spot for good sushi.Ordered some takeout too. Great size and presentation. The unagi don is delicious.”

“This was a random pick for lunch and what a jem of a find! It's small but has great food! The menu is extensive so you have many many many choices, I suggest you kinda have a dish in mind prior to going or you'll be looking through that menu for a bit... I'm sure it's All good considering what we ate and observing other tables. Prices were decent as well!”
“Japanese food for us is a great 9.5/10 round it up!Great service came to do refills and ask how food was doing !Nice homey feel! Not too bad I would 9/10 this :)Couldn’t take pictures before kids just dove right in :)”
“They changed the recipe of my favorite salad (the tuna salad) and it was quite disappointing. Service is never great here either.. I always forget how bad it is until I go back a few months or so later”

“Amazing Chinese northern do-it-yourself BBQ. We came here around 10 and the owner was super friendly and welcoming. We ordered some beef and DO get the lettuce! My wife was talent enough to make the best sauce and sorry if you don’t have one, but their sauce bar is amazing with small dishes and a wide selection of choices. Overall great experience, and we will definitely come back for late dinner and snacks.By the way, order the yogurt donut as your desert. Best in the town!”
“We had several items here with my family, including pineapple chicken curry, which was a new and unfamiliar taste for me.Despite an expectation of spice, it wasn't that spicy but a little sweet as well. It came with rice, which made it reminiscent of Middle Eastern flavors, and it was in fact yummy.”

“An excellent bakery with highly nutritious products and friendly service. Definitely a must-try for anyone following a low-carb/high-protein diet. My favourites are the cinnamon cranberry bagels and the sesame flax crackers. Highly recommend!”

“Nice little cafe on Hastings St in Burnaby. Good amount of seating, electric outlets and free wifi (password is on the table). Latte tasted great, as well as the blueberry pastry.”
“Came by for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the gamjatang, kalbitang, boneless Korean snowing cheese fried chicken, tteokbokki and everything was delicious. Huge portions as well, we definitely left with leftovers. Will come back if I'm in the area again.”
“I had the Deluxe Chirashi Don which came out with huge portions of fresh sashimi. Their sashimi is high quality and delicious. Uni and Toro were my favourite! All the nigiri and rolls were amazing, with perfect ratio of rice to sashimi/ingredients. Fried salmon sticks were so tasty. The service was outstanding, the servers were so friendly and attentive. This place will be my go-to if I want fresh and delicious sushi.”
“I personally haven’t dined at their restaurant location yet because I haven’t got the time. But when I do I will. However I had ordered twice online because of the social media reviews. From its Laotan Sauerkraut Basa Fish bowls to its Hot Spicy Boiled Beef stew, the dishes here are flavour-packed and give diners a taste of the Sichuan-style cuisine the restaurant is known for.I think I’m hooked ……in case anyone didn’t get the dad fish joke.”

“Ate here last night for the first time. Incredible food and wonderful atmosphere. Most of the restaurant had been reserved but the staff was very accommodating. Maybe phone ahead to check seating availability. The food was incredible, Every bite from every dish we tried was delicious. The portions were huge as well, we both went in hungry and left with about half of our meals in takeaway containers. Will absolutely be back to try more from this place, highly recommended.”
“We had such a great server, Brad. He was like a best friend we haven’t seen in forever, and I appreciate the genuine, heartfelt awesome service that the keg always provides. Always highly recommend the keg specially the Burnaby keg.”
“Bring your appetite and empty bellies :) the happy hour after 9pm is totally worth the price.Came back to Cho Cho during daytime and the food never disappoints. Everything is esp fresh and very very filling. They have select dim sum available in the daytime along with their usual choices of fresh ingredients to choose from. We ordered the unlimited drinks but I was only able to try one flavour since I got really full.”
“I will rate at 5 stars as the place was clean, renovated, great service and the tables not as crowded. And the most important part the food was delicious. Pizza was great from the oven, freshly made salad and wine selection it's pretty good. Stayed a bit late and the crew was very polite to te greet us when we left.”
“First time trying aroma eatery and I was so impressed. It tasted exactly like the food I've had in Taiwan. I had given up on good Taiwanese food in Vancouver for so long because I've been disappointed so many times but this place really gave me hope again! We got the combo for 2 and it was so worth it. The combo came with two black teas, two dishes of our choice, and a stir fry vegetable dish and a deep fried tofu dish. It only costed 38$. This is one of my best restaurant finds in a while. I HIGHLY recommend it!”
“The food is excellent and you can order refills for the side dishes . But keep in mind that the place is small so you might have to wait for a while but it won’t usually take too long. Most of the food is spicy so if you don’t prefer spicy food then you might have to tell them to make the food without the spicy stuff.”
“There were eight of us. We had a reservation. We were celebrating my 67th birthday and retirement. This was the perfect place. Was our first time and no regrets. The portions were enough. The service was wow..E and C gave us such great service. The wine was perfect both red and white. The Calamari was the best i've ever had and i'm a lover of calamari. There being eight of us we tried different dishes on the menu and everyone enjoyed their choice. Was the perfect place to be. Food,Service,Atmosphere.Wonderful experience. The Chef came out and we all thanked him. Yes we will be back.Thank You.”
“Really great sushi restaurant, wonderful menu and the sushi was super fresh and tasty. Service was also fast. I recommend maybe having a reservation a bit of busier day”
“I have been here multiple times. I always enjoy eating here with friends or by myself. Strong recommdetion of this restruant at Metrotown Burnaby. Thank you very much!”
“Good atmosphere. Have converted a few of my friend to a regular here. The soup I rich and free rice noodles refill to ensure you are well fed before leaving. Will recommend.”
“We ate brunch here for the first time and it was excellent. We both had the bacon eggs Benny. The bacon was a nice thick cut. The biscuit the Benny was served on was outstanding. The hash browns were well seasoned and crispy. Staff was very friendly and we received our food in a timely manner and it was nice and hot. Definately worth a visit if you love eggs Benny!”
“I've visited this Cactus location multiple times and have tried almost every item on their menu. While Cactus may not be exceptionally extraordinary restaurant, it earns a solid 5-star rating from me due to its remarkable consistency. The food and drinks always meet a reliably high standard, and the service is consistently pleasant. If more restaurants maintained this level of quality, dining out would always be a great experience. The atmosphere is inviting, and the food quality is consistently good. The staff, including waitresses and hostesses, are always kind and patient. Moreover, the ambiance is good for various occasions—whether you're inviting someone on a date, enjoying a dinner with family, or just watching sports and having a few drinks and appetizers with friends.”
“It would take a minute to figure out the menu. If you are looking for fast food dimsum, this is as good as it gets. I would recommend the siu Mai, stay away from the hagao. I'm pretty sure I'll return, and will post an update once I've tried the other stuff on the menu.”
“Wonderful Mom and Pop restaurant serving South Indian cuisine. Lots of choices and lovely chai. Family friendly atmosphere with kid friendly staff.Vegetarian options: Lots of different types of vegetarian choices on the menuKid-friendliness: Staff is very friendly and have high chairs for little ones.”
“The food was amazing and so reasonably priced! We ordered the hot pot combos that come with meat, vegetables, drinks and dessert! The restaurant was very clean, and service was great as well. Must try!”

24 Hour Restaurants
“How is this place not 4.5 stars? Been around for a long time. Their pho ALWAYS delivers! Great portions, fragrant soup, lots of tender beef, and relatively inexpensive. Better than a lot of the better”
“Always had a small issues about conversation, but I was able to see they were trying to do their best, and loved always loved sandwiches. I assume I got around 60 or more cookies from here. Last time, I recieved luxurious beef slices in my marinara sandwich when they had no slices of pepperoni left.Vegetarian options: There are veggie sandwiches if you want. I was not fan of it as I am a meat lover, but was fresh and cheap.Parking: Free parking lot next to it with enough spaces.”
“Hands down the best A&W branch I've been to in Vancouver (and trust me, we are huge A&W fans). Place is always clean and organized, staff is always so kind and friendly, food is very consistent. The staff are always attentive to our needs and have big smiles on their face. Thanks for being in our neighborhood! ”
“It is a cafeteria for students. Students use monthly tickets. It is open for lunch and dinner every day and can be used unlimited times during meal times. As for foreign visitors, single-time tickets are also allowed to enter during business hours, but there are no restrictions on dining times. The restaurant has a high C/P value for students or visitors. It has a large dining space, an aesthetically pleasing layout, and a wide variety of dishes. There are many healthy organic ingredients, such as lettuce salad, organic fruits, pizza, and individuals can prepare their own fresh milk juices. , you can also prepare side dishes by yourself, ask the on-site chef to prepare fried noodles and rice, freshly brewed coffee, various sodas and cola juices, various cooked foods, various after-dinner desserts, ice cream, etc. It is a rich experience. The four of us visitors came to dine at 12 o'clock and finished the meal at 3 pm. During the period, we chatted while eating. We were satisfied and happy with the meal. We will meet again next month.Dietary restrictions: Choose your own side dishes, ask the on-site chef to fry noodles or cook them into soup and rice with your own side dishes.”
“Whether I'm in a rush or have time to sit and relax, this Tim Hortons always exceeds my expectations. The service is prompt, and the coffee is consistently delicious.”
“I came to this A&W on Monday, February 12th, 2024… It was just about to turn midnight… It had been a long day of sorts, and I was drained and hungry… I attempted to order inside the store, but was surprised when the door was locked…A male employee (the man of the hour) opened the drive-through window and said he could help me from there. When taking my order he had the most welcoming energy, he spoke kindly, and was very courteous… His tone was caring and genuine, and I felt so welcomed… Never have I felt this way at a fast food or restaurant venue… This was next level hospitality, but I believe, it’s because he was sincere and authentically just a wonderful person! A man of exemplary calibre! A rare gem in this industry… When the food was ready, he waved out to me from the window… I just want to say a heartfelt thank you! Thank you so very much, you made my day late at night! If I ever choose to go to an A&W, it will be this one because of the positive experience, and the lasting impression made! ??? Thank you so much, it means a lot for those who work from dawn till night to have a sort of lighthouse in this city ✨”
“I’ve been to countless fast food spots. I’ve genuinely never seen a fast food place this good. So clean and the staff are always so nice and courteous. I make the trip to this location just because of how good it is.”
“Good and fast service, but we have realistic expectations. No problems with food quality. Parking can be difficult and not much seating inside - some seating outside. We usually do drive-through with no problems. You'll need to line up in the alley at times if drive-through is busy.”
“In the last few weeks, I have come to this Tim Horton's branch many times.Unlike other branches, this branch is very clean and the employees are friendly. They also have good quality of food and coffee.??????”
“MMM fried chicken!!! If you want great fried chicken pop on by to any of the church's chickens around town and you won't be disappointed. If you want a little spice in your life (from chicken) they have spicy fried chicken as well. Check their menu for a full list of food options. This one was close to home so I went there, but any of the church's chicken will provide great service and great fried chicken”
“One of the most friendly staffed McDonald's around. I usually go to this drive thru for coffee and breakfast sandwiches. I have never had a wrong order or had to wait very long. A personal favorite McDonald's drive thru when driving in North Burnaby.Parking: Large easy access parking lotWheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchairs”
“My friend suggested me the place and I really liked the sandwich I had this morning. Worth the money . Good plac to sit and have breakfastVegetarian options: Try the new pinwheel”
“Great Customer service from the new skinny girl never seen before her she treats customers with smily face also give 100% to the guest service as well as her language is so clear to easily understand.”
“This place has EXCELLENT, fresh food and the staff were SO friendly! The reason why I gave 4 stars for atmosphere is that the seating area is very small (but CUTE!) and so you may not be able to plan to be seated when you go. We had takeout and it worked very well. Would definitely go again! I order the salmon oshi and it’s probably the best tasting dish out there! Loved it!”
“Food was fast and taste good. Even their tiny side dishes was good. Kimchi wasn't that spicy. But it was kind of expensive for lunch. 3 dishes came to $64. Seafood pancake was good, but for $25 that is kind of expensive. Not much seafood and not much veg either. Normally not much seafood should still be a lot of veg. The chicken was good , and the udon was good too. The restaurant was full during lunchtime and there was only 1 waitress and she did everything. Answer the phone for takeout, waiting table, serving the food........ She was a one man band. And we still able to finished our lunch within the hour, impressive.”
“My friends and I visit this place at least once a month! The chicken is very tender, especially their signature charcoal chicken menus, which are excellent. Other items such as their ddeokbokki, fried chicken, and sides are also superb, so please come and enjoy yourselves! Additionally, all the staff are very friendly and kind, and the atmosphere is very welcoming!”
Takeout Restaurants
“More like a self-serve place. Ordered the golden original and snowing cheese chicken. The golden original is the best. The batter was spot on and chicken was juicy. And oil doesn't taste bitter where some other places reuse it so much it affects the quality of the food. The snowing cheese tasted more...sweet. The fries were good, reminded me of Costco fries. Had the mushroom burger. It was done right. Nothing bad about it. Washroom was clean. Only odd thing is they do not have high chair, so my toddler had to sit on the adult chair. I would still go back, just for the golden fried chicken .”
“The pho was amazing! I had the house special and the broth was incredibly rich and flavourful. You can tell that the ingredients they use are fresh and fragrant. I finished every last drop haha. The staff treat you like family and they really take the time to make sure you’re well taken care of. Can’t wait to go back!”
“The food was amazing and so reasonably priced! We ordered the hot pot combos that come with meat, vegetables, drinks and dessert! The restaurant was very clean, and service was great as well. Must try!”
“This place has opened for a while in my little neighborhood at Royal Oak. I thought I would give it a try to support small businesses in the pandemic. The owner made The crepe with love. He kept asking me to sit outside his store so his crepe will be nice and fresh. I said I live like a minute away. Then he gave me a container of his whipped cream to take home so his crepe wouldn’t be soggy. nice guy. When I had a bite of the crepe, I was surprised by how thin but crispy his crepe was. His salted caramel sauce was buttery but not overpowering. He was also very nice and generous in the fruits and topics which I appreciated”
“Good cafe with nice selection of drinks and pastry. Their gluten-free and more "healthy" food option run out fast and didn't seem to be restocked throughout the day which is kinda sad.”
“My friend and I came in after a book signing and Hollie was an absolute treat, just like everything in the store. We bought a couple things and the portions are perfect to share amongst our loved ones. This is 100% a place that needs to be shared with others and not selfishly in a single sitting.”

“My experience with this food store was so amazing. I visited here very first time with my gf. We ordered Medium $12 pizza deal. They prepped our pizza in front of us. They called us for choosing the toppings. We were surprised to see how they were making our pizza. It just took 5-7 minutes to our pizza. Me and my gf planned to do dine-in. We bought couple of things like dips and drinks too. And we had beautiful time in store with yummy food. First time ever we finished our whole pizza and i think it was because of loaded toppings. We will definitely come again!”

“Quite literally finger-licking delicious food and generous portions. Can't wait to go back and try a couple other things on the menu! Special thanks to Jasleen for her amazing service.Vegetarian options: Lots of options”
“This place was excellent. Got the special, the stir fried noodles with pork belly. The crystal noodles were excellent and the pork belly was crisped to perfection. The service was probably one of the best experiences I've ever had, and I'm in the service industry myself. Very very good.”
“A nice quiet place for any travelers and locals to sip on a nice cup of coffee. Its right between the Rural side of the country with only Coffee Monster in sight, and the busy ramp up areas down Waterfront/YaleTown of Vancouver. If you're looking for a place to rest and smooth up your tired travels, this is one stop worth dropping by.”
“One of the most Gracious hosts in the city. Great food, friendly service and anyone can feel like they fit in. oh yeah and home-made Gelato, best in the city.”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Food was on point as always. Hritik I believe is the floor manager and was very accommodating for myself and my pregnant wife. Very nice staff including Elisha and once again, food was top ”
“This Starbucks location was a great experience. I had such nice people helping me there and I think this is a better Starbucks than a lot of the ones I’ve ever been to so I would definitely recommend the Starbucks location. They were also so nice on the phone when I called.”
“We came by on a Sunday and we were pleasantly surprised with the assortment of teas and bubble waffle choices. I don’t frequent many bubble tea shops and it was my first time having a bubble waffle. It was the perfect crispy light snack that hit the spot. I ordered the mango milk tea with 30% sugar with little ice. I assume all bubble tea shops give you a choice of sugar and ice levels. The one employee was very helpful in explaining the choices to us. This tea shop appears to be a very popular shop for takeout as well. He was very apologetic to a customer who came in to pick up an order that wasn’t quite ready. As we were leaving, the shop became very busy. Kudos to the lone employee working here!”
“Food is good, service was good,However me and my wife were sat in the middle of the kids section and it was very loud. Not sure why they decided to put us there instead of the other side of the restaurant.”
“It has been a while since we last dined at this restaurant. We went for Happy Hour yesterday & had a grand time - service by Celina was excellent. She is courteous, friendly & the food was delicious. Given the nature of our food, Celina was extremely considerate giving us extra paper napkins without us even asking her for it.”
“I was craving Starbucks after having lunch at Happy Lamb and it turns out that there was one located conveniently just down the block. Who knew? Wasn't I just saying in another review how there are so few Starbucks around these days?I stuck to my usual Java Chip Frappuccino, and it was heavenly. If you're at Metrotown and don't fancy waiting in line at the food court Starbucks, make a trip out to this one.”
“We took my girlfriend here with my family since she never been to a white spot before. We all got the Legendary Burger with fries while my sister got mac and cheese. They also gave us extra fries because they accidentally gave my sister regular instead of yam fries. Staff were extremely friendly and were pleasant to talk to.”
“We arrived 20 minutes before they usually close on Sundays and we were informed that they closed early because they ran out of their stock. The barista however was nice enough to offer a free coffee since the till was closed. Starbucks employees sometimes go far and beyond to make sure customers" satisfaction is met. That is appreciated. Thank you”
“A typical Triple O's but catered towards students. Service is a bit slow and getting coffee can be confusing, but food is delicious (as all Triple O's should be)”
“Legendary eatery! Lots of seating and parking at this location. Staff are always eager to ensure your visit is pleasant, and your meal is satisfactory. We come here often for great food and good times.”
“The food was great, soft homemade buns and fresh homemade patties. The customer service was excellent and friendly. The prices are reasonable. I would definitely eat here again! ?”
“I think it depends on your luck, if you got a good cashier/ and barista. I had a good experience today because I am a coffee drinker but for once I need to order a drink to share with my toddler. The cashier, named Ace, gave a few options but the one he first thought of was double chocolate chip frap. Ie no coffee but just mocha syrup. It was a hit for the family. Thanks for the suggestion Ace.”
“This place was excellent. Got the special, the stir fried noodles with pork belly. The crystal noodles were excellent and the pork belly was crisped to perfection. The service was probably one of the best experiences I've ever had, and I'm in the service industry myself. Very very good.”
Cheap Eats
“Dated and old cafe but a hidden jewel. $8 for a homemade turkey sandwich and chicken noodle soup is cheap. The owner was nice. Will go back as no one beats his prices for soup and sandwich. Had 3 soup options the day we went. He offers a lunch dish option also. Update: I went 2 more times, but today at 11 am March 4th, we tried again. He greeted us, busy so we sat and sat and waited, never took our order. In the meantime, others ordered to go so their orders first. Finally, we left. Needs another person to work lunchtime. Too busy. Waits for food are long. He is too busy trying to do it all.”
“This place is so good that I want to gatekeep it… but a girls gotta share!! As students, this is literally our new favourite sushi place in all of the greater Vancouver area. We’ve tried an assortment of rolls and they’ve all been absolutely out of this world delicious!! Not only is Salmon Wave affordable, the staff are SO lovely and the hours are incredible (especially for students in the area… it’s a great place to study or fulfil evening cravings!!) I’d easily recommend salmon wave to anyone!! ???Pictured is the volcano roll, the French kiss roll, the baked salmon roll, and two cups of heart warming miso soup :)”
“❤️?? Oh my… goodness!!! This place is a hidden gem in the area. Their portions for the price is honestly a steal! Quality and flavour of the food here is great as well. My coworkers and I discovered this place as our office moved in the area and discovering Mama’s Rice Bowl has blessed our lunchtime ?The only downside is that they close a tad bit earlier than I’d prefer but, it leaves room for us to desire their food all-the-more. Definitely going to add more details when I order from here again!*** Update:Went in person for pickup and the employees are very kind :) They’re located on the inside of their building and there’s no signage on the front of the building that they’re in. The area when you enter and are ordering is quite small but, they do have tables where you can eat your food and “dine in”. I took a picture of my food after one bite because… I couldn’t wait to eat it, sorry it’s not as aesthetic ”
“So excited to have an actual roaster locally! The service and espresso based drinks are quite well done and the space is very cute and would be great to study in. Next time I will try the baked goods for sure!”
“It's great food that is 100% vegan! Quality ingredients and fresh, also from my understanding they are old family based recipes! The owner is amazing and even though I'm only there every month or so, he remembers me and my order, so it's top notch service. While the atmosphere is nice and cozy, it only has space for about 16 or so seats. So sometimes it can be packed. If I were to word one critique, it's the limited hours of operation, however, being family owned and run I can totally understand the extra downtime to prepare for when they are open. It always has a couple people there eating and picking up takeout. So they need the prep time.Vegetarian options: It's 100% vegan.”
“I come here quite regularly , and to all of the locations , I was just at the south Surrey location yesterday and they nailed the taro slush bubble Tea, I also bought a panda at 50 percent off for my daughter. Can’t beat the price and quality.”
“We only discovered this brewery yesterday through a friend. We got to sample a testing and fell in love with all the selections. We checked out the actual Brewery today. What an amazing place, the feeling was warm, the staff was friendly. We purchased lots today. And we can’t wait to come back with friends and recommending it to friends. Great job ! Keep it up and we look forward to seeing what is released in years to come. If you have not checked it out. Stop by , you wine be disappointed”
“Probably the best burger I’ve ever had and I love my burgers. I highly recommend the smash burger with an extra patty and bacon. I’m just sad I only get to come to BWC once a year.”
“Get the BB fried chicken.Crispy batter with a nice hit of spiciness. The $12 plate is 8 pcs but not in the classical sense. Breast cut in half = 2 pcs. Thigh cut in half = 2 pcs. Whole chicken looks interesting for next visit.”
“The meal was a big one. Three people ordered two left portions. The portions were generous and even the two women and one man couldn't eat them. The taste was good. Both the sausages and the meat were delicious. The potatoes were not bad either, but the pork chop was a little hard and the overall taste was bad. Very good??”
“Got the C08 purple rice fresh milk with mochi, with 50% sweet, it was delicious and I would recommend it for everyone!TIP: The paper straws really suck and make it hard to drink though, not their fault, but bring a metal or plastic reusable bbt straw if you're planning it enjoy it to the max!Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor so it's easily accessible.”
“Small place, good service, great pizza. The cost is higher, but the flavor is amazing. We had a build your own, peperoni and bacon. Then there's Sue. She is very kind and sweet. Watching people come and go, their interactions with her, and the fact she remembers alot of their usual orders... she is their go-to place for pizza. I would definitely eat there again, this time for the all meat pizza.”
“Excellent customer service from both frontline and pastry chefs. Good communication. I loved the cakes I ordered for my kids birthday. Our guests and the kids loved the designs and flavours. It wasn’t overly sweet and we kept digging in. It’s my number 1 bakery now. Thanks for your service.”
“The desserts taste good, the presentation is exquisite, and the prices are reasonable. The indoor atmosphere is very suitable for couples or bringing children, especially when the weather is good, recommended.”
“Best Pho place in Burnaby. The meat was so tender and juicy. The both was phenomenal. The old couple who run the place is also super lovely and adds to the charming vibe. Will definitely be returning.”
“Great place for sushi! My wife and I have visited here three times and enjoyed our meals very much.My wife loves the mixed veggie rolls and yam tempura roll. She likes the way the yam remains hot and crispy in the roll.I have tried Grouse Mountain and Maple rolls which kinda looked and taste the same. They were both awesome. The crunchy crumbs sprinkled on top of the rolls complement the softness of the fish and give it a more pleasant bite :)))I had also tried Kastsu don here but it didn’t live up to my expectations. So I strongly suggest their sushi not Katsu.Kid-friendliness: The staff has been kind and warm to us in all of our visits.”
“All around amazing experience! Went this evening for my husband’s birthday and was absolutely blown away! ? The food was incredible, staff were so kind and did not feel rushed to leave at all. I also love the family- style ambiance ?”
“I'm not a very social person. I would prefer to stay at home to watch a game.Browns is an amazing place with an amazing atmosphere. (Tj?)was our server and her service was impeccable and she was very punctual. The food was amazing, and the gyozas were so good!!! With all the screens to watch sports it sure made it easy to watch the game! The 2nd time we went to watch hockey,we had reserved a table with the most amazing view of their big screen. The food this te around was more scrumptious then the first time!!!We will definitely be coming back here.”
“This is one of our favourite haunts for fish-n-chips even if it is a bit out of the way for us. The fish has a light batter that is still crunchy. The deep fried oysters have been consistently good last several times we went there. The staff has always been great - the busy kitchen staff would greet you if the host/hostess was elsewhere. The dining room staff has always been cheerful. This is in the northeast corner of Kensington Square. The plaza mall has plenty of parking - very convenient.Parking: Plenty of mall parking. Some street parking east and of the mall, on Grove Avenue.”
“The food was fantastic:) we had a party in the park for 50 people food came on time and hot:) excellent customer service:) If you like great food I highly recommend this place:) Thank you Argo Restaurant.”
“Delicious meal every time I have had the pleasure of dining at Simba’s. The quality and care are apparent in each dish and the service as well as greeting from all staff make you feel welcomed, especially when they remember you! I often recommend Simba’s to family and friends and everyone is more than appreciative.”
“Must have been here a 50 times over the last 10 years. It’s our all time go to favourite sushi restaurant in the Burnaby. Volcano roll, Holdon roll and Las Vegas roll are always a crowd pleaser in our house hold. The owner (I think) is the collector of actions figure, so lots of displays around this mini but cozy place.”
“Went here to try their dakgalbi as I was craving for it after I returned from Korea. I wasn't disappointed and it tasted like what I had there.Foods were amazing and staff are friendly.I was specially surprised at their cream onion chicken. It was really good. Crispy, jiucy, and HUGE servings. And the SAUCE and the ONION were delicious! My new favourite Korean place.”
“A proper evening with your loved ones.Simple things like being greeted warmly, or an excellent bread basket start things off so well.Front of house staff second to none with a kitchen that is amazing in that it serves as a premier dining spot as well as serving their lakeside banquet tent.”
“I would like to give 10 out of 10 star review for Steve's Poke Bar! I'm not able to compare the taste, delivery, staff, and atmosphere to anything else. This is a 10/10 in it's own category of excellence! Love this place!”
“If we are in town we go to Me & Ed's Pizza. It really is the best pizza. Tomato allergy? No problem asthey make fabulous pesto based pizza so everyone can have fun and socialize over beer and pizza. For many years we would have to go to the Burnaby or Coquitlam locations. You know it is amazingly because we live on an island and wehave been going here for over 30 years,”
“We tried this place out during Bite of Burnaby and we were blown away at how good this place is. We tried the fried frog legs, crab soup noodle, chicken on rice and vietnamese ice coffee. All the food were incredibly delicious. The portions were also generous. The flavor of their food is unique and I would go back to try other items on their menu next time. The staff there were very friendly. The restaurant also has a great atmosphere and felt clean. Not your typical vietnamese restaurant experience.”
“Phenomenal!... I have eaten at o-Sushi-ya all over the world. Tokyo, New York, Honolulu, San Francisco; and outside of Japan, this is the best. From the briny ponzu kissed Miyagi oysters to the rich and deep-nuanced Chawan-mushi to the creamy smooth Yamaimo drizzled Maguro to the perfectly done butter-soy grilled fresh local squid - all were the best I have had. Then to finish, the matcha, fruit, lychee kanten and ahn parfait was light, sweet perfection.”
“One of the best coffees and pastries in the whole Greater Vancouver, if you are in the neighborhood definitely give it a try. it worths the way that people drive from Richmond to get a piece of it.”
“I’ve been so many times that the servers all know me. The sever named Victoria in particular is the best as she knows exactly what I want to order every time. I highly recommend this location.”
“We had a party of 16 and had a great birthday dinner here for my mom. Although they sold out on stuff the rest of the food was great. Service was great and helped us combined a table for 16. Thank you for the fun and the music. I ”
“My go to food place. Love their new wasabi mayo. Plus this time I got to use my points to pay for my order! Yay.Vegetarian options: There are vegetables selections.Parking: Mall parking lot”
“Huzzah! A Greek place that is actually great for people with allergies! There are lots of gluten free, dairy free, vegan and/or vegetarian options not listed on their website, but are on a printed menu in the restaurant. Mind you, the graphics that tell you what's what are tiny and faint, so it's a bit hard to read or take a photo of in low lighting. Everything is made in the restaurant, so they can actually tell you what the ingredients are, and the food is great. Nice atmosphere and lighting, and the owner is very friendly. I went with a group and the service was a bit slow when it came to taking our drink order and bringing drinks around, considering there weren't many other tables, but overall the experience was lovely! I only wish their allergy-free options were listed on their website, to make ordering take out easier. Having so many options is overwhelming, lol. I had the Imam Biyaldi and the Bourekakia, and having a phyllo-like rice pastry was such a treat. Will be back for sure.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and dairy free optionsDietary restrictions: Tons of gluten free options”
“Simple place, good food and reasonably priced. Presentation is great but taste good as well. Service was fast too. There are so many choices which are unique. Not a typical Japanese restaurant. Our favorite is the salmon tartare, salmon carpaccio and club salmon poke. We tried the aburi salmon shikoya - salmon with zucchini roll, its just okay for us but not outstanding. Will definitely come back again to try the other dishes.”
“Kilala offers super fresh sushi at reasonable prices. Eat in is nothing fancy and service is very polite reminiscent of my time in Japan. There is maybe 2 parking spots available in a very tight awkward underground parking (best to find street parking). The japanese creme caramel is a must try if they have it available.”
“I had a fantastic birthday celebration at an Iranian restaurant last night. The music by DJ Hamed created a lively atmosphere. We enjoyed the tahchin and vaziri dishes+yogurt dessert •chai saffron was a perfect endinghighly recommend this restaurant for a fun setting.”
“Six of us went there after a day of walking and climbing stairs, sightseeing. There was a wait to get in. The food was perfect and the portions were so large, we wished we had agreed on one pasta dish and split it and we still would have had some to take home. That is the only "negative" thing we could say. Our waiter was amazing. He was friendly, attentive and answered any questions. The food was superb. Highly recommend!! A must do in Burnaby (Vancouver).”
“Drove here from Metrotown to try out Socrates. This place did not disappoint. Great food quality and quantity. Tried their roast lamb and chicken souvlaki, it was finger licking good. I can’t wait to try other dishes on the menu.”
“Our server Sydney was so sweet and kind. It was my birthday and she brought out a cake for us without us having to ask. 10/10 experience and we will ask for her to serve us the next time we come eat here since she made our time here wonderful. Thank you Sydney!”
“Been coming here for years as my family lives close by. The soups are super tasty and meat always come out sizzling with lots of flavor. Great spot in the south Burnaby area without driving all the way to North ”
“It was nice to return after a while. I tried their combo and really loved it. I also ordered sweet onion for the first time, and it was soooooo good. Lastly, the customer service and friendliness of Boram were exceptional :)”
“I like malatang here the most. The staff are really kind and the taste is similar to or better than the malatang I used to enjoy in Korea. Also, all the ingredients are fresh. It's my fourth visit and I plan to come every day off”
“It's okay and interesting. The sauce is creamy and rich, but the tappoki in carbonara is quite bland. The chicken is really good! It's juicy, well-battered, and tender. However, I found it unpleasant that the server asked for payment TOO EARLY because I was trying to enjoy my meal and chatting with a friend. The meal was just served about 8 minutes and we haven't finished it yet.”
“Earls was great tonight. It was really busy but still got amazing service from Marly and Chirsten! Though it was kinda cold at the patio they made the vibes very warm. The Tuesday felt like a a Friday night. Love it here as always! Will always come back.”
“Wonderful experience with the Balkan House team organizing our birthday party for 35+ people. Entertainment group was fabulous, knowing every song we requested, the food was tasty, wine simply perfect. Family style restaurant, relaxing, homy feel. This is not our first experience with the BHR and certainly will not be the last. Thank you!”
“This is La Foret's second location. It is different from the first location. At the moment this is a to-go location. I was surprised to walk in to see a big open space. They have donuts, croissants, pastries, cookies and ice cream. They also have coffee and other drinks. We went on a Sunday and there was only one person working. It was surprisingly quiet compared to the first location. I got a croissant and B got a coffee bun. The croissant was nice, flaky and fluffy. For $3.75 can't complain. B really liked their coffee bun. It has butter coffee filling inside which is very different. The location is very convenient. It is walking distance beside the skytrain. I will definitely go back for other treats.”
“fantastic restaurant mixing local ingredients in Japanese dining, but also Japanese imported items if you wish as well. they have a seasonal section that you should always take a close look at. have been multiple times and always a great experience.”
“I love bubble tea and have tried many places. This place has the best bubble tea, most friendly staff, and best food place hygiene. My favourite is Oolong milk tea with pearls. The taste of Oolong tea with sweetness of brown sugar pearls is the perfect mix.I am glad that they kept their clear cup unlike a few other BBT places. The visual presentation is so important for drinks and desserts.”
“Beer was good. Decent selection on tap. Find your own seats, go to the cashier, and order your food/drinks. Has board games if you want to play something with your friends.”
“Literally the best sushi I’ve had in a long time. I’ve ordered it TWICE in the last week- can’t get enough. Fish is SO fresh and everything tastes incredible.”
“I went here with my family last Friday. It was a nice cozy restaurant serving Malaysian food.We ordered half Hainanese chicken and rice ($26), Hainanese Chicken Laksa ($14.95), Char Quay Teow ($15.95), and Belacan Fried Rice ($15.95). Everything was really good I couldn’t pick a favourite. Hainanese chicken was tender and delicious. Rice tasted pretty good. Everything else was tasty as well. Belacan fried rice was packed with flavours. It had pungent smell of salted shrimps, but was pretty tasty. We shared all this food for 4 people. We couldn’t finish Hainanese Chicken Rice and Belacan Fried Rice in the end and ended up taking home leftovers. It still tasted really good the next day. I saw some tables ordering Satay Skewers which looked so yummy. Price was moderate. Food was pretty memorable. They accept cash and debit only.”
“A bit of moldy smell but not serious enough to call a health inspector to do a walk around. Service is great waiter is attentive. Food is made by a few Korean auntie so you bet it taste good or at least decent. Will recommend.”
“A cut above AND great value! Stopped in here for dinner because we were in the neighbourhood -kind of a random pick. Their take on dishes common all over the city was consistently unique and subtly complex. We will make a point of going back.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. I always like to see an umeshiso roll on the menu (not every Japanese/sushi restaurant has it) and theirs did not disappoint”
“For Kelowna... What a nice restaurant dining experience tonight at Bin 4 to share! Best fries in Kelowna Very good food Nice specials Lots of variety extra offers Great tunes! Exceptional service Nice company with the gf after her work My 2nd time ever only so far but obviously will return 5.5 of 5 stars!!”
“Came here for my birthday and it did not disappoint. I liked the relaxing atmosphere of the interior. Seating is comfortable and even though I was sitting in the middle, I enjoyed glancing out the window for the view of the golf course. I enjoyed my meal—good portion. The servers were very professional, genuine and attentive (and not pretentious). I did not feel pressure by the servers or excess hustle and bustle like at steakhouses and high end restaurants. Good for special dinners with family or friends. Parking outside is sufficient.”
“Ordered for take out and had a good experience throughout! Food, staff and atmosphere were great. Would definitely order from them again, loved everything my family ordered :)”
“I ordered Doordash from them when they were doing BOGO promotion. It was two chicken fried rices for the price of one. Some other restaurants also doing the BOGO, raised their prices for the BOGO, but this restaurant actually BOGO-ed their original price and it was 100% worth it. The restaurant also did their best to fulfill any special requests.”
“I haven't been to this restaurant for a while even though it's right in my neighborhood. Now I'm wondering why it took me so long! The waitress was friendly and seated us promptly. We ordered Sfinaki trio dips, grilled kalamari & mousaka. Every dish was delicious. Tarama dip was my favourite. I'll definitely be going back.”
“Things have definitely gotten a tad bit expensive, but it's a decent place. The service is actually nice. Usually in hot pot places I get poor service. But this was good.”
“Such great service! The soup is so delicious and the food is great quality. I highly recommend going here for hotpot, you'll absolutely love it! I will definitely come back!”
“Came here for the first time for Bites of Burnaby and I was really surprised by the portion sizes! I was so full, and the dessert was HUGE! Nice ambience inside too, perfect for date night or girls night :)”
“Before I explain how amazing the food was, I would like to inform everyone that the food is HALAL!! Indian Wok is definitely a hidden gem to have quick or dine in place to eat! Its combination with South Asain and Asian food gives it a great taste! I tired there chicken dumpling, chicken fried rice, general Tao chicken and Manchurian noodle!! All tasted super amazing!! Service was fast and efficient, staff was super welcoming and friendly! Great place to eat if ever in the Burnaby area!!Vegetarian options: Many options for vegetarian!Parking: Parking is behind the building, super cheap like a dollar and hour!”
“I think the food from Chakra is delicious but unfortunately too spicy for my family. Not really the restaurant's fault we are wimps for spicy but I guess for us, the search goes on.Ordered takeout and requested mild for everything and added a note that if possible, make things not spicy at all.In order from least spicy to most:Lamb korma - not spicyButter chicken - a bit spicy.Palak paneer - spicyEggplant Bhartha - too spicy. Hurts to eat it.The garlic naan was 1 big piece and I thought it would be bigger.”
“Best Hunan food in Vancouver! Must go!I order 笋尖炒腊肉 every time, never disappoints me.They’ve also recently remodeled the interior design, so the atmosphere is also great here.”
“Friendly, beautiful decor and beautiful Mexican atmosphere in its simplicity. It was a first and we had a great time. The team is nice and cool for responding to my curiosity. THANKS ! Looking forward to coming back”
“It is one of the best places to get individuals hot pot. Ordered pork bone chicken soup with fatty short plate combo and vermicelli. It includes milk tea and ice cream. The price is decent. There are just tons of veggies on the bowl. will go again.Parking: Parking on the side of Nelson St.”
“I am so grateful for this restaurant to have made our wedding dinner so spectacular. Shakiba has done a lot to make it extra special. This is our top 1 restaurant in Lower Mainland. Such a great costumer service. Their Koubideh and Joujeh Kabab which we ordered tasted like the best restaurants in Iran.”
“Hello, I have not had the privilege to go to your wonderful dining establishment. My wife and her friend did today for lunch and she sent me a message asking if I would like some food for home. She had naan and butter chicken and lamb curry. I said yes, please. She arrived and announced she had dessert as well rice pudding and something called a "honey ball". I exercised my adult privilege and ate dessert first! The consistency of the rice made it the pudding. It was silky and melted in your mouth. Western rice pudding like Kozy Shack the rice sits in the pudding like mixture. The rice here was suspended in a cold sugary broth. The creamy cold broth like lake was sugary but not cloying. That honey ball was like a 5 star, Heavyweight Champion World Cup winning donut hole. The cake was spongy and its outer layers soaked in that broth however the cake and shape retained its integrity. It was heavenly and sublime. Then I had just a taste of the food Best Lamb Curry I've ever had. Meat was seasoned so well and it melted in your mouth. The homemade Naan was so perfect. I wish to come back with my wife and our friends. Thank you”
“I would call this place good, sometimes hit or miss. Some foods like the pakoras were very well done and nicely plated. Others like the meat curries were dry and overcooked. The servers were efficient. The bathroom was extremely dark with only a dim light in the black painted room. Alright for the ”
“I think this is going to be my new favourite hot pot restaurant. Not only is it beautifully decorated, had attentive and friendly service but the quality of food was outstanding. We had the tomato broth and the flavour was beautiful. Very good selection of skewers and good selection of side dishes. I’m usually very sensitive to MSG in food but couldn’t detect any in any of their dishes which is a huge plus for me. Good quality ingredients prepared professionally! Thanks for a great dinner experience. (This was our second visit, both times were throughly enjoyable).”
“Never been there before, but will definitely be back. I had Pollo Alla Baci (Chicken breast in a Brandy Mushroom sauce) OMG - It was to die for!!!! The sauce was unbelievable. The staff was fantastic. The do allow children there, but I didn't see much on the menu for the kids. I got the feeling it was a higher class place - for a great bottle of wine, and delicious meal with out the kids. But my 1 year old grand daughter was with us, and they treated her amazing, and did their best to accommodate her for drinks and food.”
“The food is very good and service is quick. The platter is great for groups and would recommend sharing plates. The snapper is great! Parking is free and there is ample parking in the mall lot next door.”
“Excellent service, great food, good quality dishes and fresh ingredients. Miso soup is really tasty. Chicken teriyaki is huge but delicious. Price range is actually pretty affordable.”
“We have had dim sum and regular dinners here a few times and now it’s almost the end of King Crab KC season BUT a few other restaurants we called first could not positively confirm the availability so we decided to come back to Lee Garden BBY who guaranteed they still had abundant supplies. So a day before we ordered over the phone the KC set dinner for 4 ( for the three of us)Although we have been here a few times, we didn’t know any of the staff but we were still greeted by a very welcoming manager Wallace, who showed us our crab and I took a photo to compare when it returned on dish (heard too many scams in some other restaurants which swap crabs)…. It was TGIF and there were groups of happy customers and almost every table was enjoying their KC dinners!!All the 5 dishes and the soup included in the set were very tasty and in big portion….in fact we took home the last two fish dishes and the fried rice….they lasted for another two meals….)Our favorite was the garlic KC, but the salt & pepper KC was also very yummy. All through the dinner, another manager Roy and his team continued to provide very friendly service. Our wonderful Friday evening concluded with the desserts provided and the overall bill included tips and everything (no alcohol) was a bit over $600. Looking forward to return in the next KC season!”
“Food has always been phenomenal. Clean, not too greasy, but oh so delicious. Their pricing is modest as well but portions are big and comes with refillable side dishes. Ordered their beef soup as well as original fried chicken. Both came out fresh and steaming hot, granted it was past the lunch rush hour. But constant flow of customers with ppl coming in to do takeout. Good recommended spot away from the busy main area of the plaza.”
“Food was on point as always. Hritik I believe is the floor manager and was very accommodating for myself and my pregnant wife. Very nice staff including Elisha and once again, food was top ”
“This place is the best spot! Easy to get to, always got parking and the atomsphere is chill and cool. Raj and his staff are really friendly. They know what they’re doing! We get greeted right away and customer’s satisfaction is their main priority. Food and beer are good! With some classics cocktails with some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Highly recommend when you’re in the area! You can bring your whole family, food & drinks for all ages.Thank you Raj for making this my go to spot!”
“It's an amazing restaurant, really good food with amazing portions with affordable prices, and really friendly waiter! Really recommend at least trying this place out. The food is fresh, affordable, and is a gem.”
“They have really good burgers. Personally, I go here to get the burgers. Darn good ? ? ? ?!!! The owners are super friendly, 7and the pub is filled with regulars. I know I will sound like an ancient man, but the pub has vibes of the "Cheers." Everyone knows everyone???”
“Me and my family went to Famoso Pizza tonight after a long journey to find a restaurant for our family dinner. This restaurant is combined with Ricky and both have their menus. So we decided to try the Famoso one.Foods were amazing and delicious. Everything was tasty—the pizza, pasta and salad. Also, the staff members were friendly. Even the manager of the night was helping around. Thanks to them for making us a great night.”
“Great food and great service! I ordered the bbrinkle boneless chicken with the fried rice cakes, and they were very tasty! The chicken was juicy and had lots of flavour. The rice cake was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The service here was very fast and nice. They provided a good variety of side dishes and it tasted fresh!”
“Found this place last minute for a birthday. We loved the vibe, Food was honestly way better than what we thought and saw! food 10/10. Vibe 10/10. Service was 15/10.Highly recommend, We’re definitely coming back!”
“This place is amazing. I’ve been here two times and both times they didn’t disappoint, staff were very attentive and accommodating with me and my mother. There are many things and combinations to choose from on the menu. I ordered the triple iron plate with Grilled Squid, 3 Lamb Skewers, and Deep Fried Fish Filet with a Sunny Side-up Egg and noodles (w/ corn, peas and carrots). The Mushroom Tomato sauce compliments the meat and noodles when drizzled on top. It is so0o0o delicious. I also ordered the Assorted Fried Basket A1 (mix of breaded chicken nuggets, Taiwanese sausage, fish cakes, prawn crackers, and green beans). I recommend getting the Brown Garlic Dipping Sauce - it cost $0.75 extra but totally worth it with the basket. I also ordered a Mango Slush with Boba Pearls + Pudding. I would definitely come back again to try other dishes.”
“Very creative dishes. Tried similar in Tokyo but the first time to find similar in the US or canada. Amazing food and good service. Everything is organized well and the food comes very fast.”
“The place is very welcoming, food is absolutely delicious, service is 10/10. Extra credit to Om, he was very polite and attentive. Thanks, Om!Will be totally coming back!”
“I was looking for a Japanese Restaurant on my lunch break yesterday. Stopped in, ordered spicy tuna roll (my fav) and Tonkatsu meal..Everything was delicious⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ looking forward to my next meal there... ps, the salad dressing is fantastic!!!”
“A Gem Tucked Away in BurnabyThis past Friday night, I stumbled upon a hidden gem in Burnaby: Makoto, a charming little Japanese restaurant with a warm, family-run atmosphere. Stepping inside, the decor was unpretentious, focusing on clean lines and a comfortable ambiance. It became immediately clear that the focus here was purely on the food.Despite being a two-person operation, the service was surprisingly swift. The husband, who skillfully doubled as both bus boy and server, was incredibly efficient. While the wife worked her magic in the kitchen, he expertly handled the floor, his genuine warmth adding to the homey feel of the restaurant. Now, onto the star of the show: the food! I started with the agedashi tofu, a classic Japanese dish that can be a true test of a restaurant's skill. Makoto's rendition was nothing short of delightful. The tofu was perfectly cooked, achieving that delicate balance between soft and firm. The light, flavorful dashi broth it was bathed in was a symphony of umami, and the accompanying crisp panko crumbs added a delightful textural contrast.Next up were the crispy California rolls. I have to say, these are a must-try for any California roll enthusiast. The seaweed salad (a delightful surprise!) added a touch of freshness and a delightful crunch, while the avocado and cucumber offered a cool counterpoint to the savoury crab meat. The true star, however, was the tempura batter — perfectly light and airy, it encased the ingredients without overwhelming them. Finally, I couldn't resist the ten tama don, a dish featuring plump shrimp tempura and a perfectly cooked, fluffy egg. Each spoonful was a delightful combination of textures and tastes, with the delicate sweetness of the egg and the savory pops of the shrimp. The entire meal was surprisingly affordable, which only added to the overall satisfaction. Makoto isn't a place where you go for fancy ambiance or a trendy scene. It's a place where you go for delicious, authentic Japanese food prepared with care and served with genuine hospitality. The husband-and-wife team at Makoto are clearly passionate about what they do, and it shines through in every aspect of the dining experience. I left feeling happy, content, and already planning my next visit. If you're looking for a hidden gem in Burnaby that offers fantastic Japanese food at a great price, Makoto is definitely worth checking out!”
“Did take out, not dine in.We ordered by phone and asked specifically for veg , very spicy dal makhani and very spicy chole masala. We also ordered garlic naan , bature and mint chutney. When we tasted it, felt like only the spiciness was there and no salt in the food. Both the dishes tasted the same way, with no salt. The naan , bature were good. The mint chutney felt like there was a lot of onions added to it more than the mint.Vegetarian options: We eat only veg , but the spiciness made the food quality go down.”

“5095 Canada Way, Burnaby, BC near the Shadboldt Centre and Deer Lake. Now moved to the front of the small strip mall. Somewhat of a long wait, but worth it. Note hours might seem inconvenient to you. Generally a takeout. Heavenly spice food from far west China, and Kazakhstan All lamb dishes are good and succulent. Be aware some dishes are peppery hot. Ask!”
“Nice little cafe on Hastings St in Burnaby. Good amount of seating, electric outlets and free wifi (password is on the table). Latte tasted great, as well as the blueberry pastry.”
“Best Pho place in Burnaby. The meat was so tender and juicy. The both was phenomenal. The old couple who run the place is also super lovely and adds to the charming vibe. Will definitely be returning.”
“Went there recently and ordered a lamb donair, and the new lady there made the best donair I have ever had, not just randomly slapped together, but built properly with meat on one side and the veggies on the other side, it both tasted fantastic and looked delicious.”

“Always great at this location, the booking was personalized and we were able to obtain the exact table we requested. We will continue to visit this location forever and a day. Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”
“Second time going to Big way and its just as good as the first time. Their Signature broth was so good. However, just be mindful that you pay by weight of the toppings you put in the pot.”
“Jenn is so organized and friendly. The place was so clean too! It makes me want to come back again knowing that my food is prepared in a food safe environment. Will definitely come back again to get pizza?”
“Great food. I love all their dimsums. Their tea is really strong, not just hot water with some loose tea. Excellent service comparing to other Chinese restaurants I have visited so far. Will definitely visit again for our next dimsum meal.”
“Pretty surprised with the quality of food. The price was on the expensive side but the taste and flavor is worth it. They don't skimp out on the ingredients.Vegetarian options: Not that many options but they can customize dishes for vegetarians”
“Excelled service and delicious ramen! The place is well decorated making for an elevated dinning experience. The ramen had a lot of flavour and it was a pleasant dinning experience.Definitely check it out next time you’re craving ramen!”
“The location is good, and this is a pretty spacious unit. There is an average kids' playground. The food is standard McDonald's food. However, it can get busy on the weekends, affecting the service, like forgetting the Happy Meals toy or giving napkins, cups, or straws in your order. Napkins or straws would not be a problem if they were available in a self-service way. However, they are not, as there is some sort of initiative to decrease the waste of these items, so you need to go to the counter and ask for this every time they forget it (and it often happens as the location can get very busy).I like that there is a good space and a lot of tables in the kid's area, which allow parents to stay close, and that area is a bit (not too much) isolated from other areas, so parents are happy, and people without kids don't need to be close to the noise/mess that kids do in that area.”
“Got the spicy chicken ramen (hot level) and it was a good amount of spice. The soup was flavourful, the thin noodles were a great texture, and the chicken was super tender.Only issue was we stood at the front for a little bit before they seated us, even though we tried to make ourselves more noticeable by stepping further into the restaurant. Wonderful experience otherwise.”
“I ordered an egg McMuffin meal. Indy greeted me at the last window with the warmest smile and best attitude. I finally learned her name today as she’s been serving me since I was a kid. Very wonderful human being and excellent service!!!”
“We all had a great time at Trattoria Burnaby. Tara our server was amazing, personable and fun. There were 9 of us celebrating a wedding and could not have been happier spending the dinner portion of the event at Trattoria . Thank you Tara for making the night even better.”
“GREAT EXPERIENCE! 1st time here and boy did WE FEEL RIGHT AT HOME! Lucas our awesome server was super helpful!! All recommended food and broth was amazing. Their “mild” spice is definite try… Start with mild first and work from there…”
