“Late Review, we dined here (party of 6) around Christmas Time 2022 to celebrate hubby's birthday and also meeting my newly wed cousin Joanne and hubby for the first time. I am very well pleased with the ambiance, like dining at my home's formal dining room. We ordered practically everything in their extensive menu. The food was served promptly and everything delicious !! Everyone enjoyed the feast. I would like to thank the owner especially for giving us a 5 Star personalized service, making it a memorable dining experience. Regrettably cousin Joanne recently passed at a younger age of 48. I will always remember our happy gathering here ♥️“

“For context, my family went here for a Sunday lunch. Menu can be scanned via QR code which is handy. Parking can be tough, that is a big issue we faced when we arrived. We had to park in the side street of LA. About 12-15 tables inside, and more seating outside. Definitely can be packed on some days.Food is 3/5 stars, I highly recommend the coconut adobo, it’s a perfect mixture of adobo and ginataan, never really thought of that combo. Rice comes in 3 scoops. We didn’t like that the ribs and the tri-tip were not warm enough, it felt like they microwaved it and was not fresh from the grill? The sauces they have carried the flavor. Felt scammed out of the cornbread bibingka, try it out, but we won’t be buying it again too overpriced, nothing too special.Service is 5/5, the servers were friendly and gave us options, the owners were present acting as the servers and explained to us about the history of Park’s Finest and context about the food. It was our first time there.Atmosphere 4/5, it is too moody and dark, can use a bit more lighting. Maybe a light bulb on top of the table? ? cool modern design however, maybe its darker during the daytime. The wash room is clean and has all amenities.Overall 4/5, would come again but not cravings. They have Wednesday, Thursday-Friday deals, definitely check those out.Bill came out to $80+“

“Atmosphere is very nice… I love the vibe. The hostess were lovely. Our server was a this beautiful black female … though I don’t think she even told her name. This was our first time and we did not know anything on the menu we felt very rushed in ordering. We asked questions about the menu but the server did a horrible job at explaining the dishes. We were told that the dishes were family serving size. NOPE they are nope so we ended up ordering extra. The food was so delicious and the lemonade. We didn’t like the feeling of being rushed, though… The pie was the highlight of the meal. And oh FYI, they do not accept cash“

“If you want to experience the street food of manila without flying to manila, this is the spot! They have almost everything here that u can find from manila street food, its like KBBQ but Pinoy street version. Only part I hate coming to eat here is the parking, so you better be good at parking your car coz the parking lot is tiny and you guna have to find a spot somewhere to park your car. And if you're high blood, better make sure you got your statin and garlic ready coz all the food here are high cholesterol.“

“Saw and heard about this place from friends and YouTube. It peaked my curiosity so when I had the chance to go, I grabbed it. 5/5…did not disappoint!!! The food was great (especially the mushroom salpicao) and the atmosphere was very laid back…lived up to the hype!!! Also helps that their hype-woman/co-owner Jackie gave a her own personal touch all night. We will definitely make the trip here every time we travel from Denver!!!“

“This is my favorite Filipino restaurant in the historic Filipino town. I've been coming here for decades. The service and food quality is great and consistent. My family's go to are sinigang, okoy, fresh lumpia vegetables (without wrapper), bangus, caldereta, and their breakfast combos. Ambiance is homey.“

“Found this awesome family owned bakery on my way to the farmer's market. The Mom owner and son? handling the counter were super friendly, doling out samples to everyone, explaining what everything was...the pastries were flaky and not super sweet and the chicken empanadas were delicious. Can't wait to try everything else on the menu, except maybe not balut. Haha.5 stars!!“

“In the heart of Historic Filipinotown lies this gem of a restaurant, most of the things in the menu are mostly savory meaty dishes from pork , beef, chicken and shrimp. Truly a vegan's nightmare, I suggest having a maja blanca for non meat eaters (good luck with the dairy though), most dishes are served with rice with Java rice as an option together with sweet sour papaya salad (atchara) and condiments accompanying the dishes making it an enjoyable meal. Staff are helpful with the menu and will explain how the dishes are served , there is no fountain drinks so asking for an extra cup of water or ice might be needed for the hearty meal. Unfortunately, limited parking on the side of restaurant and front street parking is the one of the flaw of the place, a wide window view of Temple Blvd in front of the hospital, most of the ones eat here are really rare because of the parking factor hence most of the people only do pickup orders. But if you get past the parking problem, you can enjoy the atmosphere of quietness or random original Pilipinas music playing in the background.“

“i8Sushi is an immigrant owned establishment from the Philippines nestled along Sunset Dr in Silverlake. I was so excited to try this place out after reading the story behind the owner. Not only is i8sushi woman owned, but her business flourished when most were deteriorating in the height of COVID. These comfort rolls are fun and delicious. You can taste the freshness of the fish, and you can see the delicacy put into the rolls the way they're presented in a pizza box. There's a cute small patio where you can enjoy your rolls, perfect for a summer night date. As well as a small lot to park which is convenient considering there never any parking in LA.“

“A great place to dine when in the area! The staff were very welcoming and the atmosphere felt very cozy. I was sat in a comfortable armchair at one of the areas seated for 2. They served water with some citrus and mint in a large pitcher that was delightful. The food I ordered was good and I will have to try more of their selections to satisfy my curiosity on how the rest of their menu holds up.It wasn't busy at all when I visited during the afternoon on a weekday. It's located just down the street from the Kaiser buildings so if you need to wait for someone or find yourself hungry after a procedure, I found this a great place to relax and unwind.“
“Great place to order some Filipino food. I've ordered Arroz Caldo plenty of times, Sotangon and more!! Customer service is great and everyone is so kind. Special thank you to Gerald who has been so patient with me when I go and order because sometimes I keep changing my mind, and thank you for making me laugh especially after having a hard day.“

“The best home cooked filipino breakfast place! Been going here for decades, the service and taste of the food never changed. A little gem in LA to must visit when craving for filipino breakfast or food. Their Bulalo that is being served on Thursday and Sunday is also a must try. Their phone number changed to (323) 407-6193.“

“The quality, freshness, and flavor of the grilled seafood are outstanding; it comes highly recommended. particularly the grilled pompano. It's well worth it, especially given the staff's excellent standards for customer service and product expertise. It doesn't matter given the open space for dine-in as long as the food is excellent and my family enjoys eating there.“
“Have been to Eagle Rock Kitchen many times and like it. Fast and friendly service, delicious and nutritious meals, vegan included. I recommend ERK whether your vegetarian or not. A lot of choices.“

“The folks who work here are always friendly. They’re always very warm and welcoming. Classic Filipino hospitality!! I’ve always said that Filipino food is best enjoyed out of someone’s home. Preferably, their grandmother’s!! This is as good as you can get without having to get an invitation or crashing your Filipino co-worker’s niece’s birthday Party!! Their kare-kare is on Point Point (see what I did there?! LOL)!! As well as the lechon kawali!! Literally tastes like my Mamang’s!! My one regret is that I don’t eat here often enough!! Highly Recommended!!“

“1/2 minute read:If memory serves me, Little Ongpin has been here since the late 1980’s.The menu you see there has been (basically) the same. There’s nothing to complain about that. They provide a good number of dishes that are popular with their culture. You’ll see Pancit Bijon, Pancit Miki, fried fish, Kari Kare, Sisig and other standards. If you would like more information related to those menu items, I’ve found that YouTube can help you. Just go to YouTube and search the name, like PORK SISIG.There’s street parking and just next door, there’s a parking lot but I’m not sure if it’s private. As I mentioned, LITTLE ONGPIN has been open at that same location for some 35 years, meaning- they have a faithful Following, including my wife and I. My wife loves the Pancit Bijon, and I’m not picky- I like it all BUT I won’t eat a dish made with Blood. The service is good, courtesy, fast and easy. Eat in or take out.The Servers are helpful and friendly. If you can, leave them a tip.OK, I’ll have more photos later on, thanks.Parking: Street parking is available. Just next door to Little Ongpin, there’s a parking lot but no indication if it’s private.“

“Small little bake shop with delicious breads and pastries. There's no seating and the space is quite small but that's no bother. Note it's CASH ONLY. Service was okay. I was asking what a few things were and the lady seemed a little peeved by it. I got some coco jam (love this on toast with a little butter), pineapple cream cheese bread and turon. All great.“

“I live in the central valley, but whenever I come down to Anaheim see my.mom and my sister, I stop by here. I love, love, love their karekare, macaroni salad and buko pandan. Those are only the few reasons why I go there instead of the others that are close by the freeway. Don't get me wrong, all the food are delicious and cooked fresh, but what really gets me to come everytime are the people there. They are so friendly and they always smile. They greet you and they even talked to you, nakakawala ng pagod sa mahabang biyahe. Thank you for being so kind to us. May kakwentuhan ka na, busog ka pa.“
