“The pizza was overall pretty good - got the margarita pizza, however for the price preferred the pie to be slightly bigger. The crust was great and tasty, and the menu had many vegetarian and even vegan options. Ordered their bread pudding - would definitely not recommend, the bread was very dense and dry. Otherwise pretty good food!“

“Came in on Friday for HH at 4pm. The place was not big so there weren't a lot of tables. On the floor, there were two high top tables that's fits 3 ppl, 4 tables that could seat 10-15 ppl depending how crowded you wanted to be seated and a few bar seats. We were seated with a free glass of Rose which was good. The 3 of us we ordered the 3-2oz cup. I ordered the cab.cab.cab which was good. We also ordered some meat and cheese to go with our drinks. Parking could be challenging but if you drive around the blocks you will be able to find a parking space. This is a good place for HH if you want a more quiet chat with friends.“

“extremely bad tasting food and bizzare combinations....miffed at kichadi like biryani with no flavour and being served with aam ka achar....god knows how this restaurant got Michelin star rating ....Shame on the chefs and the owners for ripping off the customers with overpricing of the food for poor service, absence of any ambience or decor“

“Without any expectations, I was highly impressed. Their Easter brunch was fantastic. We had the caviar and monkey bread appetizer and they were the bomb. My wife had the lamb cheeks over polenta and it was divine. With the great service, I found the experience one of the best I've had and I've been to three Michelin stared restaurants before.“

“Great experience starting with delicious food selection, wonderful service and nice quiet atmosphere. I can mention the octopus ? wich is absolutely amazing 5 stars ✨, tzatziki mashed eggplant and hummus mix of 3 served with pita as well, fried calamari, cheese pizza for the little one and of course lamb gyro wich deserves applause. The lamb was medium rare prepared but was absolutely delicious. Sparkling water served with lemon absolutely necessary on hot days, delicious coffe and fancy looking cold beer served for my husband. Obviously will come back !!! And yeah recommend this place!!!Kid-friendliness: My son enjoyed coloring pages during our time wich is really helpful instead of watching iPad videos.“

“This is an unusual place, basically the lobby of a new residential complex turned into a hip (for Menlo Park) lounge. The first time we were here the food was mixed (in not everything was fantastic), but the service was outstanding. This time what we ate was all delicious (the scallop ceviche was one of the best things I have ever eaten), but I had a hard time getting anyone's attention to get a glass of wine. It is designed to be a place to hang out for a while. Good cocktails, small plates of tasty food.“

“This is our "go to" place for special occasions and this visit was a little disappointing. I usually go for the steak frite, but with beets...no thanks. The duck was a little over cooked and the crab bugatini was too spicy. Brocoli soup, oysters, frites were top notch. We'll. come back.“

“Hadn't been to this place in about 5 years, and I had forgotten how good the drinks were. My favorite was the matcha cocktail. I shall return to savor another.As far as the atmosphere goes, it can get very loud, so if you want to chat with someone, you might need a bullhorn.“

“Overall, what stands out is the unique dishes and Japanese style seating option. Our group thought certain dishes were interesting and good enough that we would return. We're not rushing to go back, but we would return for the right occasion. Service is just ok ~Details~ Our waiter was not very personable or helpful when we asked if we had ordered enough food. There is a 90 minute time limit but frankly we finished our food in an hour and no one kicked us out. We stayed to chat and no one said anything about it, we had to flag someone down to get our check. On the pricier side for the service and the ambiance, as it was $40 on average per person. ~Dishes~ Really liked 1) Sake harami nitsuke braised salmon belly in soy-sake sauce - A solid favorite for all. 2) Tako salad (octopus) - All of us liked it, dressing was divine 3) Gindara munieru (pan fried cod with plum-garlic sauce) - 2 of us thought this was a great dish, one of us thought the sauce was too sour. 4) Kamo yuzu (grilled duck with tomato-yuzu-pepper salsa) - Unique, most of us liked it 5) Age nasu tofu (fried eggplant and tofu) - Delicious, soft silky tofu. Not our favorites 1) Mushroom tempura - All of us agreed it was a disappointment. We wanted more mushroom flavor out of it, but truthfully it did not taste like anything. They had matcha salt on the side (we think it was matcha salt) but that didn't really help either unfortunately. 2) Mentaiko fushion pizza (spicy cod roe, snow crab, mushrooms & bacon) - All of us agreed it was a disappointment. It was cheesier than expected. It had very little cod roe (we could not taste it) and there was only scattered bacon. The flavors did not meld as well together as we hoped for. No one in our group of 4 would recommend this dish. We had to place sauce on it to make it more flavorful.“

“BEST everything! A must visit. We were on a tour of California and kept returning - best steak we've ever had - the paella was fabulous - the duck confit, amazing - the charcuterie platter is ridiculously good - all washed down with amazingly delicious wines paired perfectly by the expert taste buds of sommelier, chef and owner, John Graham-Taylor - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“
