“I’ve been to this Smorgasburg twice this summer. It’s pretty decent. The live band (Latin music) that I encountered the second time added a really cool touch. The food I tried was good too. I had samosas and a catfish Poboy. The patrons were not as friendly and engaging as the other 2 Smorgasburgs I visited in Brooklyn (Prospect Park and Kent Ave) but that could just be because it’s a touristy venue. So give it a try if you’re in the area…it’s a pretty cool place to hang out. The food isn’t a heap so make sure your wallet matches your appetite.“

“Been eating here since 2010, food has stayed consistent through the years. The cooks always have a genuine attitude and respect for the food. I am often getting lamb over rice with red/white sauce, but the chicken and Falafel are always tasty as well. For an extra dollar they will toast a pita with white sauce for me with my plate, just epic!“

“This place originated from humble beginnings as a small struggling food cart. Their food is legendary among the locals and did well enough for them to eventually open this store. On to the food - still as good as I remembered from my youth. I love to order a mix of beef tripe with rice noodles. Delicious and will definitely go again.“
