“We were in Juneau for a day off a cruise ship and wanted to grab dinner somewhere less touristy, and more so where the locals eat year-round. This was exactly that! Dumplings and staple Vietnamese soups make up most of the menu. The shrimp dumplings and chicken steam bun were both quite tasty and good quality. For soup, I had the chicken hometown mystery (medium spice). The portion was generous, it had an excellent broth, and the noodles were super tender. It had a good amount of heat if you have some spice tolerance. This place definitely has a hole-in-the-wall vibe, but we loved the guy who was running that place -- good vibes and pretty quick service. I'd highly recommend if you find yourself looking for some good local food.”

“We went to the one put of downtown, they have an amazing dog friendly patio entrance outback! Tried the island ale and loved it, the hard seltzers were especially good. Loved the atmosphere here, a little calmer than downtown spot. Took some growlettes for our VRBO.”

“This is one of the best restaurants in Juneau. It has one of the most versed menus and you really can’t go wrong with any of the choices. My personal favorites are the shrimp angel hair pesto pasta, and the Baja fish tacos. They have a pretty good selection of cocktails and beer as well and you get the great view, especially when there are cruise ships in the bay”

“We experienced the salmon bake here that was included with our Mendenhall Glacier excursion. The area is a forest setting and is very serene. There was a guitarist playing soft music. We took a short walk to a beautiful little waterfall along the creek right there. The salmon was delicious and cooked outdoors over a big barbecue. The sauce they use is so good! It was very cozy especially since it was lightly raining but there were canopies.”

“We stopped by Coppa Cafe in Juneau for a quick coffee, and it did not disappoint! The service was fast and super friendly, and the cafe itself was spotless and inviting. Our coffee was absolutely delicious—perfectly brewed, rich, and just what we needed to kickstart our day. It’s always a plus when you can enjoy great service alongside quality coffee. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in town!”

“This is such a great coffee shop in Juneau Alaska. I was looking forward to a coffee shop quality drink and this didn't disappoint. The owner said she uses coffee that is roasted in Alaska. I got an Americano and the creme on top was fantastic. My wife got a cold coffee milk drink and she said it was phenomenal. I highly recommend this place.”

“Ate here yesterday. The Iced Teas were perfect, best I had in 20 years! Learned that it's a relative of ginger and pretty good for you as well. The salad that came on the side with my rice noodles/tail-on shrimp/pork was so fresh and the rest of the dish was light and refreshing, crispy spring roll too. Fresh cilantro and other herbs! My wife got the pork combo rice platter and loved it! She loved the "perfectly cooked" fried egg, "savory but not too oily." Definitely our new favorite in Juneau!”

“My cruise ship waiter recommended a filipino food truck by the fort and it was extremely underwhelming. I went to the museum and by sheer luck wandered into Raven Cafe. This place is phenomenal and it’s no farther than a mile away from the fort. We tried the Adobo burrito and a latte and they were great. The burrito was huge and can feed two people. The owner chatted with us and he’s such a cool guy for giving us his time to talk about not only his food but also about Juneau in general. If you want to discover a good Filipino place with great service and even better food, walk a mile from the fort and be surprised: we definitely were.”

They should update their location on google and their phone number but its easy to find as all the cruise ships docks at the marina and they serve most of the cruise ship staff on their break

Awesome flavor selection, served anyway you could want (cones,floats, cups and shakes... He even has gift certificates. Take the whole family! He was extremely patient with Grandma while she decided among the many many choices. I could go on because there is the best customer service I've ever been given. Go eat your dessert here the next chance you get and you won't be disappointed.”

“Nice venue, but their beer isn’t phenomenal. Zero stouts to be had. Tried the Kolch, Amber, Pilsner, blonde, and their Rauch Porter. It’s fine though. They’re a larger brewery in Alaska, so they have to turnover beer quicker.”

“Super cute place. Very nice atmosphere. The only negative was it was super slow for four people in the building. I wished they had looked up and acknowledged us, maybe say good morning, I'll be right with you, but they didn't. It could have been because they focused on the good coffee. It was very good, but the synergy between the two ladies working either was not good, or maybe something happened earlier that wasn't pleasant. People are allowed to have bad days. This was the 11th in the AM.”
