“We had lunch here today for the first time. We tried the pork plate, pork sandwich, potato salad, baked beans and slaw. Everything was so good. Pork was not dry at all and very flavorful. The slaw and potato salad are both mayonnaise based and delicious. We will definitely be back.“

“As usual, Smokey C’s is the best lunch place around Decatur. The food is outstanding and everyone is super nice. You can always tell a good restaurant by the length of the line. Even though the line is almost out the door every day. It moves quickly because of their great serving and cooking team. The flavor & tenderness of their smoked chicken can’t be matched by anyone else. With a large selection of sides, you can get just about any combination you like. Don’t forget an order of deviled eggs.“

“It may be a 4 table dining area, but the BBQ is off the chain. The ribs are so tender and juicy and the pulled pork is absolutely awesome. If you want amazing BBQ that isn't dry and overpriced come to this spot. Also the mac-n-cheese and baked beans are awesome as well. Take the time and try them.“

“Drove by a couple days ago and stopped in. The place is very casual and very friendly. The catfish platter was very good: fried catfish, onion rings, hush puppies, and slaw. The slaw was different from what I've ever had and not to my taste, but everything else was very good.OTOH, my cardiologist may not have approved of all the fried food.Looking at the pics I wish I'd had the pecan pie.“

“The smoked chicken was great and bbq sandwich was also. The slaw is good but be careful if you're on keto diet because it is sweet! My family loves their cookies too, chocolate chip and macadamia nut cookies. Service was great, we got there at closing time they made us feel welcome and didn't rush us at all very friendly folks.“
