“The service was exceptional. I was greeted when I entered by multiple people. I made a reservation though it wasn’t really needed. The ambiance is nice; I’m a huge fan of low-lit areas. There was a lot of light from the bar area.I asked my server, Mary, what she recommended for a sweet drink and duly went with the Swingin Sunset. It was fresh, sweet, and mixed well. There wasn’t an incredible amount of ice, either. I was served a bread + (sea salt?) butter bowl, which was incredibly tasty. The muffins seemed like they were made with browned butter and a hint of caramelization. The saltiness of the butter complimented the sweetness of the bread. It makes me want to learn how to make it, haha.I asked for food recommendations; she recommended the cheeseburger + gulf fish piccata. I wanted something different from a fish and burger so she ended up recommending the Crispy Potato Gnocci, which was a great choice. It was incredibly filling. The pork belly was crispy and mixed well with the rest of the ingredients in the dish. There was a nice umami + peppery bite. The price of food + drink is a little high, but it goes with saying that the quality of the items made it worth it. I’m glad they have a seasonal menu to provide variety. If I’m ever in town, I would love to come here for brunch or lunch.“
“Jack's Place is always a winner for dinner or brunch. The menu has a large selection of entrees, salads, and sandwiches, and several daily specials. My favorites are the brisket, panko-encrusted pork sandwich, and the chicken parm. Their wine list is better than most in the Shoals. The star is always the dessert like the chocolate meringue pie. Get there early or they will sell out!“
“I had dinner with girlfriends last night and it was one of the best meals! Started with great service by Jennifer (I think was her name?!). Asked for our names then addresses us each by name all night. Nice touch for service :) She explained the menu and specials and we ordered the pierogi and burger of the month. Both delicious. Atmosphere is so cozy and cocktails, beer and wine were perfect too. They have Sunday brunch too with a Bloody Mary and mimosa bar! Highly recommend checking out this hidden gem in Florence!“
“Visiting Florence today with friend who has celiac, so always a challenge to find interesting lunch eateries in GF world. But this is it. Whether you r GF or not, this terrific lunch place epitomizes next generation of tasty, fusion-y, healthy food. Some places advertise as "GF" because they have 1 or 2 dull GF options. Not Esther's. Today, they had predominantly vegie and GF options, but also meat if u chose. For lunch, you order either a bowl or a plate but basically both feature complementary combos of vegie or meat components. I chose meatless options, and like in any super restaurant, as I was eating, kept thinking, what spices did they use to season these couscous? What ingredients make this potato/kale curry so unusual? How did they turn something as boring-sounding as brussels sprout cole slaw into something I would kill to serve at a dinner party? Plus, according to my friend, their GF desserts were great (not just the usual tolerable). Cannot say enough about good vibes of this place. live in a part of Nashville famous for out of box, amazing restaurants, and returning home tonight, all I can say is, Esther! Would you please consider opening Esther's-North up here?“
“The views of the sunrise over the river in the rotating restaurant were amazing while enjoying a delicious breakfast buffet. The service was great and everyone was very friendly, from the cooks to the servers and even security.Parking: Parking available at base of tower beside the spa.“
“Great food, great funk, great fun! The waffle and tenders were perfect, fried green tomatoes excellent, onion rings had superlative blend of crunch and grease, and sauce just the right kick. The atmosphere was atmospheric--love the funky music videos of a certain age. And Jenna while you wait....ahhhh magnifico!!!“
“I'll come back and leave five stars when they get this place fully up and running. Right now it's full of construction and dust, but the stores we visited were great. We hope to get to go back next year when things have really gotten better and some restaurants are open.“
“If you love country cooking like me , this is another good country style food place in Shoals area . Nothing to explain here if you love good ole cornbread with that country fried steak or chicken or fish etc. , creamy mashed potatoes , some beans and greens . They all are good . Its simple delicious and puts a big smile on your face . The service is good , staff is friendly and the food is great . So if you are in shoals area then check this one out of many country cooking places in Shoals . Its a good one .“
“Turnip greens are so good! Only thing that needs improved is parking. Their cooking takes me home ?. Sure is some good eating. I'm an excited regular now ?.Parking: They have parking. They also have reserved parking for handicap (2) but their popularity is such that the lot stays overfull. But it's worth the task. Love this little place ?.“
“Sam’s is a great local spot with great food. There are several TVs so you can watch multiple games at ones which was perfect for catching March madness basketball and opening day for baseball today. We had the spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer which I highly recommend! I had the Santa Fe chicken breast was delicious. The sweet potato fries were good but would have been better with some kind of cinnamon, butter, and sugar sauce. Their chicken fingers are also delicious!“
“I had the meat +3 with hamburger steak, coleslaw, fried apples, and green beans. My son had the best cheeseburger he's ever eaten with mac and cheese and pecan pie. YUM! Also great service.Dietary restrictions: Great low carb options“
“Higher rating on one slice, so the boys talked me into going. The wings were great, the pizza was pretty good. They do have a full bar, and the espresso martini was actually very good. The varieties of pies is extensive, i had the babe, it was tasty, just a little light on the sauce and the crust was thinner than I like, but overall, I'd go back.“
“The Chicago Dogs were really good.Tasted just like the hotdogs back home in Chicago. Our meal came with chips and a drink and at such a great price . The service was really great, and we’ll definitely be back when we come back to Florence to visit.“
“We had a good time set outside ate, watched the fish and enjoyed meeting the people at the table next to us.Parking: It is easy to park some parking closer than others but still easy to parkWheelchair accessibility: It has ramps to the restaurant.“
“Top notch! Ny Dog is A1 quality. Lived in Germany twice this is the closest Kraut and bratwurst I've had since. Works Pizza is fantastic also. I'm sure they got more but it's hard for me to stop ordering these two things since they are so spot on! Highly recommended!“
“So, let just say the steak was prepared well, and one of the better steaks I have had. The mash potatoes was phenomenal as well, and went very well with the steak. Service was good, very good and attentive. I only gave it 4 stars for one reason alone. They do not have a good selection of alcohol. Mainly, scotch, bourbon, or whiskey. You got to have a good selection of these for a steak place of this caliber. A 15 year Macallan goes a long way with a steak.“
“I was traveling with six others when we stopped here for breakfast. We had great food and a wonderful server named Ben. He was super energetic, had a great personality and very helpful guiding us through our meal selection. Everyone enjoyed their meal and our surroundings.“
“I love the Boiler Room! I had my birthday party here about a year ago and it was perfect. The staff was very nice and adhered to all of the needs of the party. I definitely recommend dropping by here to either have a party or enjoy a fun time with some of your friends. They have everything you could ask for when it comes to catering to your party needs!“
“Great French onion soup, and they brown the cheese for you if you ask, which we think gives it more flavor. The lunch bowl is endless and tasty. The oriental chicken salad was also great. Brought entrees before soup, but they apologized, and it worked out great.“
“Food was delicious and plentiful for such reasonable prices! The bartenders were super friendly and came to find us with our food. The only issue was with the dress code. Our friend just messed up his ankle in a nearby wrestling match and was visibly limping and was turned away for sweatpants, had to walk back to the car(a block and a half away) to change. Given what we saw others wearing, I don't understand it. I know it wasn't the security/bouncers fault, they were just enforcing it. But it was a little ridiculous given the circumstances of our friend.“
“Wasn’t packed but that’s not their fault. All depends on the people. But their service and quality was superb! Couldn’t recommend this bar more to someone! Service was quick, drinks mixed excellently, a superior experience to its competitors, will definitely be returning here time and time again. If you see the server in the photo attached you know you’re gonna get good service!“
“Only issue was...when you serve shrimp that are prepared in a manner other than steamed, please remove the shell. Ordered the stuffed shrimp and had to remove shells myself. Should never have to handle or fight with my food. Other than that, great all around.“
“Their loaded potatoes are a two meal eating because they are monsters and oodles of generous toppings. Chicken or pork or beef to choose from. I have tried all three and find the pork is my number one and I do choose the others for a variety.“
