“Alligator bites were chewy. The Thai sauce and ranch were sooo good. The steak Diane was SOOO GOOD!! The mashed potatoes and shrimp were good.I did not like the chicken dish. It was crispy and the chicken was cooked well but really lacked flavor. The rice was too crunchy too.The crème brûlée was amazing.Make a reservation and ask to sit on the bay side. I was really disappointed that we were seated facing empty parking lots lol.The parking was also very convenient and free.“

“My husband and I pride ourselves on finding the small quaint places to eat that are hidden diamonds. Mojeaux’s blew us both out the water. Crab Bread was next level. My husband had the oysters and crab cakes that were phenomenal. I had ribs with mojo Mac and cheese and fresh collards with smoked turkey legs. Service was impeccable. 10/10 recommend.“

“My wife and I were looking for great sushi and we found it! It was so fresh and delicious. The specialty rolls were unique and tasty. It's some of the best sushi we ever had. The cocktails were great also. Ashley, our waitress, was delightful! She gave us great service and shared the secret sushi menu with us and then gave us great recommendations. We will definitely come back the next time we visit Mobile. I highly recommend Chuck's!“

“Enjoyed this little downtown diner while staying in Mobile for the week. Good food, decent service and does get crowded so be prepared for close seating and a bit of a wait. Some of the service bar area was a little dirty and had some bugs so adjusted the review for that and a bit more pricey then some of the other area restaurants. Overall we enjoyed our meals and our experience and will be back.“

“This was one of the few places open early afternoon around 4pm, which was one of the only times my wife and I were available to have a date meal. This met all expectations, it was not busy (at that time we had the place to ourselves), food was delicious. I listened to the recommendations from the waitress and was not disappointed. We had the biscuit service, marinated crab claws, pulled duck and grits, wine. Highly recommend. Location is odd, seems to be just another house in a neighborhood, parking is available in a little lot nearby.Parking: Small parking lot around the back and side just a small bit down the block.“

“We went there for lunch and the food was top-notch. Service was very friendly and accommodating and even receive some seasoning that they used on our food from the kitchen. Only downside is it was a loud restaurant which you would expect for a large lunch crowd Only downside is it was a loud restaurant which you would expect for a large lunch crowd“

“Where to start? This place was incredible. So I did not know how big the Po-boy sandwich was. It can feed 2 people. There was so much shrimp ?. The Gumbo was good also. Definitely have to visit if you have not. Great prices and wonderful staff.“

“I went to the West Mobile location, and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered, the oyster plate, which consisted of 16 cooked oysters with various flavors. They were delicious, and I can't believe I only paid $28 for this many oysters. Bread was provided before the meal, and the service was very timely. I will definitely return.“

“It's called Asia's now, and she's a peach. Best seafood deal in all of Mobile! They'll fry your oysters hard or soft, and you can substitute fries for creamy grits, with cheese and bacon if you like, or a huge pile of fresh okra. It's a hidden neighborhood gem for takeout.“

“Great service! Owner makes experience personable. Menu.good, main protein choice entre options good. Side selections with the meals could be refined - specifically the pairing. The chef probably has a reason for the decision. I had a porkchop recommend. I asked for medium to have a little juice, it was fried hard - well done but still good. Location convenient to other entertainment! Will be back in area soon 75% will dine just to see if refinements made to menu. H Oh yeah, didn't order bread pudding dessert bc no middle piece of bread. Recommend if that is top dessert that make more pans. Also it is made w crispy cream donut so no reason 2 run out.“

“Recently had the pleasure of going to wet willies, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by whitli ( who was very friendly and helpful) . The restaurant's selection of alcoholic beverages was impressive, with a wide range of mixes to choose from. Lastly, Greg over heard our conversation and helped me out. Two great workers glad they were there for my first time.“

If you’re looking for a quick but delicious meal, make sure you stop in.DO NOT MISS THIS LITTLE STOP!!!! ?The Shu bam slam and grits are absolutely amazing!!“
“I cannot say enough great things about Velvet Pig! My menu favorites are the pork belly skewers and the turkey pesto sandwich but everything I have tried is insanely good! Today, I picked up lunch for my office of 20 and they went above and beyond to accommodate our group and all of the orders were accurate and excellent - which is no easy feat!“

“My niece and I visits Judy's Place often and the food is great, but on this particular day we ordered the Philly steak sandwich with fries and it wasn't at all what we expected. Fries hard, bread hard and didn't have all the ingredients that goes on a Philly steak sandwich. Very disappointed, but will give them another try.“

“Meet some friends there for dinner. It’s a good place to visit for the atmosphere. Food was ok, catfish was a little over cooked, as were the shrimp but the beer was cold the view was amazing. It’s a seat your seat, order yourself place, but they will delivery when order is ready. They have an indoor bar and seating area if you don’t want to sit outside. If you plan on sitting outside after dusk bring something for the “no see em, Nats”“

“Tried this for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. The interior is nothing special and comes across as just a fast food restaurant. You order at the counter and service your own drinks. This is fine for a quick lunch. The service at the counter was friendly and helpful A++. The food was very reasonable, I ordered grilled fish and shrimp which came with 2 sides for about $10. It included grilled onions and peppers and a small “salad”. Everything was delicious and I will be back.“

“Soooo good!!! I have been here twice now, and I'm addicted. They have specials every day, but I'm in love with the baked chicken. It is too good. It's seasoned perfectly and so juicy. The smothered porkchops and the chopped steak are also good. The greens, the green beans, the mashed potatoes, cabbage, and rice are all to die for. And the lemonade is too good!!! No matter what you pick, it's going to be good!“

“We came for boiled crawfish. The crawfish were really good and plentiful. The boiled potatoes were fantastic. Corn was good but we were better once i added salt. Everything came out streaming hot. About $20 per person. Will come back.Place is a seafood market. Don't expect fine dining or table service. No alcohol (person taking our order laughed when we asked about it).Once we ordered and paid we waited about 20 minutes for our food.We saw others eating fried seafood plates and they looked both good and plentiful.“

“Great customer service. Super friendly every time we go. Wish the parking was better, but no big deals since everyone is basically in and out. We've never waited a long period of time for cooked food. The store could use some updates, but it is to be expected from a seafood restaurant.“

“This place is jam-packed during lunch with a line outside of the door. I didn't order off of the hot bar. I have a phobia of things sitting out even if it's inclosed. I ordered a seafood plate. It didn't take as long as I thought that it would consider the number of people. I kinda skipped the line after waiting a bit. Suggestion There are 2 women working the front. One fixing plates off the hot bar and the other ringing up the customer. Some people are undecided or getting more than o e plate fixed. They should have 2 lines, and if the person on the register was taking orders and payments to people having orders placed, then it would cut down on as much waiting. The food was good and the staff could smile and be more inviting. ?“

“So we were in town for a show at the civic center. We originally were going to eat at Loda across the street. But that place was a **** show. So we walked across to TPs. We were immediately greeted by one of the waitresses, told we would be seated shortly. Very shortly was seated with Courtney. She was very friendly and knowledgable about the menu. We asked for drinks and they were perfect. It was about 5 o’clock and not so busy, but out of no where(assuming from the show) it got super busy. The owner was an elderly gentleman that reminded me of my pops and came to greet us. Super awesome to see him helping the wait staff too which is super uncommon. Food was really good. We ordered a Philly and jambalaya pasta with queso and chips. Soooo goood!!! The drinks were delicious. I am only writing this review because of two things. 1. The wait staff and restaurant handled getting busy like an absolute pro!!! 2. Because we were originally going to Lodas across the street because I read the reviews and was like they seem like that got something going on over there. Boy was I glad we gave this place a shot. 11/10“

“I genuinely believe Alabama has the best soul food in the country, and places like Taste of Heaven are why. I have never in my life had wings that were fall off the bone yet crispy, until I ate here. The staff was very friendly and the carrot cake might have been the best I ever had. Definitely recommend.“

“We finally got to eat at the new location. Got 2 steamed combos and fried shrimp and oysters. The garlic butter was either a little spicy or they put the wrong seasoning. Shrimp and crab were a little hard to peel. However, overall, everything was very tasty. Prices were very good also. Restaurant was very clean. They were very busy but service was fast and friendly. They have indoor dining available, but we brought ours home. I would recommend K&D for sure.“

“Very nice big open place. 1st time there, looking for a seafood lunch. I had the 2 pc white fish, w/Cole slaw and cheesy grits, they were huge and crunchy, my date had the popcorn shrimp, red potatoes and Cole slaw, that could give KFC a run for their $$. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we definitely will be back, They have much more to offer!!“

“I am not one to give reviews, especially 5-star reviews, but this one is well deserved! My family and I were passing through Mobile and just needed a quick lunch to suffice us. We came across this lovely place. When you first walk in the store is clean and the people working were very welcoming and helpful. The guy answered all my questions with such kindness and gave his recommendations. I ordered one entree from happy hour, a shrimp poboy, and some fried fish. Everything was spectacular! Freshly made, plate’s overfilled, and taste was amazing! I love an over stuffed poboy! Thank you to Cajun Corner for making my family’s day with some awesome Cajun food. 10/10 RECOMMENDED!“

“This is our first time dining here, and it was a great experience. We started with seafood gumbo & Soup du hour for the appetizers. The entree for the night was grilled redfish and coffee braised short ribs, and dessert was bread pudding. All the dishes were amazing. We'll be back again to try more menu items. Our goal is to try everything on the menu out. Thank you so much. See you all next time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!“
