“My husband and I are in town for a few days and we're thrilled to see there was a Caribbean place in town. We stopped in for lunch and plan to come back this weekend before we head back home. I had the crack chicken, and my husband had the jerk shrimp, both of which were delicious. The menu was trimmed down that day, but the full menu gets served on the weekends, so we will definitely be back for some oxtail, brown stew chicken, etc. The family who runs this restaurant is so sweet and inviting. This will definitely be a regular stop for us now any time we travel through Hot Springs.”

We had enough left over to take some home. We will be going back for sure. It's a little chilly so you might keep that in mind and take a sweater or wrap.”

“First we arrived at Fisherman’s Wharf, got in quite fast. Very friendly staff we sat and ate dinner with lalo around 6:30. Didn’t get serviced until 6:45, when he came to the table is was very unprofessional and uncomfortable. Overall he did a great job and we got our food quickly, but every time he would approach the table he would have an attitude. The catfish was great, and my husband enjoyed the grouper oscar. 4.3/5* overall”

Emerald was very knowledgeable about everything 501 Prime, very attentive, friendly and engaged! Actually, not a single employee walked by our table that didn’t stop and engaged in a conversation. Everything we ordered was perfection. Just excellent service and food all the way around. Great experience, we’ll be back!”

“Nice restaurant at the horse racing track. We were here with a party of 5 on a Monday night. TVs everywhere and Monday night football was on so we he place was packed. They were very short handed in staff but our server did a great job.

We had the meatloaf, gorditas and salad and all were very good. Great portions and $4 draft beer.

Worth a stop if you are near by.”

Obviously the fish is the star of the show, but when a sushi restaurant puts extra effort into the sushi rice, you know they pay attention to detail. “I’m so glad we brought our dog on this trip because we came across so many amazing restaurants just by googling “dog friendly restaurants”. This was hands down the best place we ate at as far as food quality and service goes. Everything we tried was AMAZING! You can tell the eggs are sourced from grass fed operations by the rich orange color of the yolks. Two things you HAVE to try if you come here are the Crème Brûlée French Toast and the smoked duck bacon, but everything we tried was seriously so good. My fiancé and I split the shrimp and grits and the best breakfast platter with spicy bloody Marys and the mimosa flight to drink. The blood orange and the prickly pear were our favorite mimosas. This is a must visit when you’re in Hot Springs. We will DEFINITELY be coming back. Shout out to our server Addy for the amazing service and being so accommodating with our dog. We also thought it was really cool of the owner/manager to let the hostess bring her baby to work. I cannot recommend this place enough. Also, really affordable considering the quality of food you get.”

“I had been CRAVING strawberry shortcake. For a while I couldn’t find anywhere to get one in town. I finally saw one on Sugar and Spice’s website and had to get it. Let me tell you- it was AMAZING! The server was certainly nice, but it took 30 plus minutes to get two margaritas, and another 30-45 minutes to get two Caesar salads. What should have been about an hour long stop actually ended up taking almost two hours. Still, great food if you don't mind the wait.”

“We had a combo plate of fried catfish and fried shrimp, coleslaw baked potato and hush puppies, with cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. All was very good . The hushpuppies need improving. Our waitress, Adrianne, was very nice and checked frequently to see if we needed anything. Everyone was friendly and the new Cajun Boilers has been renovated into a very very nice restaurant.
