The build your own pepperoni and bacon pizza was also generously topped, had the perfect amount of sauce, and we really enjoyed it. Our bacon cheese bread had plenty of both toppings and a garlic flavored crunchy bite. We absolutely loved each and every bite and were surprised by the elevated products we got at a strip mall shop. There wasn’t enough flavor for me, and the burrito stood to have salsa and sour cream. It was a good size burrito; having two meals out of it. The tortilla was good, and had a slight crisp. Could have used more eggs too. Quite an ‘ups & downs’ review. Overall it was good. This food truck isn’t at the Buzzed Goat in Ahwatukee every Saturday. No telling if he’ll be back. I’d recommend trying them. Share it, or take leftovers home.”

“I’ve been living in AZ for about three years now. My wife and I have had a very hard time trying to find foods that were comparable to back home. We’ve traveled 45 min to an hour from where we live just to find good cultural cuisine. In our area there’s mostly big name chains. I’ve tried a few other Jamaican restaurants in AZ and have been disappointed more than a few times even after second attempts.
My wife came across Hot Pot Caribbean Cuisine at a food truck festival in Queen Creek on a Friday. She called me and told me she would be bringing me a Jerk Chicken Dinner with steamed cabbage, along with red beans and rice. I didn’t get my hopes up until she walked in and I could smell the seasoning from upstairs.
I came down and before I opened the styrofoam container I could see strands of steamed cabbage coupled with red beans and rice pouring out the sides. A wave of excitement came over me because I know this is how a container from a Jamaican spot is supposed to look. I open the container and was greeted by 3 pieces of chopped, (dark meat) jerk chicken. They were lightly sauced and momentarily resting peacefully on a bed of red beans and rice.
My wife watched me take my first bite anticipating my reaction. From the evidence leading up to the first bite, it was as I expected. My taste buds were assaulted with spices, seasoning, and smoke. Flavors you can only get from chicken, if you are properly cleaning and marinating it. The cabbage was soft and buttery. The rice was perfect. I ate one piece of chicken and closed the lid because I knew that if I ate it all in one sitting I would have to drive 45 min away just to get more which I ended up doing 2 days later. If you are a Jerk Chicken connoisseur like me, look no further.
I will say if you are not a fan of spicy food approach with caution. Personally don’t think it’s overly spicy but I like spicy food. Other than that my initial reaction was 7.5/10 but had to give it a 8.5/10 because the food also reheats very well which is significant in my opinion when it comes to take out food.”

One order of food easily serves two light eaters. The Al Sham style meals are huge! The Greek French Fries are likewise very large.

Laurie was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. She made excellent recommendations and ensured every detail of our dining experience was perfect. From the drink pairings to suggesting the best dessert, her expertise was evident. What truly stood out was their positive attitude and attentiveness—constantly checking in without being intrusive and always ensuring we were comfortable and happy.
The food itself was exquisite! I tried the Three Cheese Ravioli which was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavors, and beautifully presented. Each course was timed impeccably, allowing us to savor every bite without feeling rushed. My daughter got the Chicken Parmesan, and oh my, was that mouth watering with flavor!
The ambiance at Stone and Vine was cozy yet elegant, making it the perfect setting for both a casual dinner and a special occasion. It’s clear that the staff takes pride in delivering top-notch service and culinary excellence.

I like to get the spaghetti no meatballs and the hummus is so, so good. The dessert bod is super cute and I love the fresh fruit as well. They have live great indie artists on Friday and Saturday evening. Tuesday evenings are happy hour. The singer they had 2 weeks ago was amazing and she brought in a great crowd. Everyone was jamming dancing and singing and it was a beautiful sight. It was super packed. Yes this place does get loud but it doesn’t bother me. The food was pretty good. I had a pesto sandwich and a pineapple drink which were both delicious! I also had a taco that I was not a fan of, however other people in my party liked it, so maybe it was just not for me. I will say that the price is kind of steep, nothing too outrageous but I just think it could've been a bit more reasonable.Also the place can get pretty loud. It's a public / private event center... Able to accommodate from 10-10,000 people.
It has a western theme atmosphere with a western town look...much like Old Tucson, except this is not an entertainment attraction, but an event center for specific events.
We came in from the south and goggle maps had a hard time locating the actual entrance, but with a little driving, we found it finally.
Coming in from the north should present no problems I think, cause the entrance is quite accessible..
We went for a private event, the ASU Wrestling Team end of the year banquet, so the only facility that was used was their large dinning hall with it's small stage and kitchen.
The meal was sponsored and served by volunteers so it was truly a private event with only the physical building being utilized.
Rawhide was an excellent place for a banquet of the type planned and it could be for other groups as well, depending on what their needs are.
We had an enjoyable time and look forward to repeating it again next year cause this is the venue the team usually chooses.
My only complaint would be that there should be better lighting in the parking lot as it was basically dark when we left...and considering it's a western atmosphere with dirt for the vast majority of the ground... better lighting would certainly help.”
