“Food was pretty good, and service was attentive but a little strange--it was not made clear to us that they only take Visa and MasterCard, or that the lunch specials do not apply on the weekends (or at least they didn't let me order it on the day I was there). Thankfully for us it all worked out fine. My food was good, and my friends who got sushi seemed pretty pleased with it.Overall, a decent place. I'm not itching to go back, but I wouldn't say no either.“

The place feels pretty sterile upon walking in- but ignore that and trust the good reviews. It seems like others are a big fan of the hibachi and after the one roll I had, I’m looking forward to coming back by before I go grocery shopping.“
“Ordered online to pick up. Order was done right in time. We got the Orange Chicken Bento Box and a salmon sushi roll. Everything tasted great, really fresh , good portions. The ladies were also super nice and accommodating as we decided to eat there. 10/10 recommend.“
“DAMN was this tasty! I had the big quesadilla with chicken. It was ready fast, inexpensive, and very good. They have a toppings bar with various salsas, really fresh pico, and don't miss the house-made avocado sauce - it's REALLY good! I travel all over the valley for work, and I keep a "collection" of my favorite places in each area. This place is definitely going in my Gilbert collection! I'll be back!“
“In case you were not aware this restaurant has new owners as of nine months ago. I decided to visit after many years. The last time we visited the food was not that good. Tonight I sat at the sushi bar and spoke with the owners Shawn and Joy. They were very pleasant and the food was excellent. Shawn even made me a custom roll based upon my description! If you have not been here in a while, come on back and give it a try!“
“Not only is this place the absolute best - the food is amazing (get their bento box!), the people are SO friendly, they've literally never messed up a single order (and I go here a TON) AND they sell asian snacks at the front desk which is SUPER cute. Try the strawberry crunch pocky! I love this place. They literally bend over backwards for their customers, and whoever the amazingly sweet front desk girl is - thank you for being so kind and making my doordash/uber orders so special with nice notes. I had the worst day today - and yall really made my day with your kindness and amazing food. LOVE this place. 10/10“

“Came for lunch with my mom and daughter the other day! My four year old who doesn’t love sushi, devoured the orange chicken! And happy hour made everything fairly inexpensive! We got potstickes, edamame, sashimi and five rolls and tried the mochi! Loveeed all of it, the king kong roll was superb. The dynamite roll wasn’t my fave but why get cooked fish when there’s sushi available!?“
“Seriously great place to eat. I enjoyed everything about dining here with the exception of one small detail. Reservations are not your typical reservations. You will be seated with strangers even if you are wanting an exclusive dining experience. Luckily our strangers were celebrating the same thing we were and they were very nice too...still was very awkward for both of our parties to be forced to mingle. It's a small detail amidst the abundance of positives this places offers but sadly it slightly ruined the experience for us.“

“The food was incredible and if you can impress the chef squirting sake in your mouth can get a quite a bit of good drink for free. People celebrate birthdays here often as we heard their birthday song about four times while we were in so you can get excited seeing people go crazy over their special tricks. Good price for the quality of food and great experience all around. “Awesome place! Spoke with the owner who took our order and she told us all about the authenticity and care that goes into the food. She told us that most of the ingredients for the ramen is sourced from Japan. Sushi rolls have a very generous amount of meat in them and are priced fair. Will come again! Always happy to support a local business.“
“We love sushi & have tried many around but had never tried Sushi Rock so decided to try it out since we were were in the area.We called in to get added to the waitlist & were seated as almost as soon as we arrived.Service was a bit slow because they were super busy but…wait till the end :)We have a variety of sushi, including Spicy Tuna, Spicy Salmon, Tootsie Roll, Philly Roll & Shrimp Tempura Roll as well as Edemame & Gyoza - everything was delicious!After we were done & had asked for our check our waitress came out with a slice of cake for dessert, on the house & apologized for the slower than ideal service; very sweet of them!“
