“I've had the pleasure of dining here on multiple occasions, and each visit is just as delightful as the last. The standout feature for me has always been the exceptional customer service. Brenda, in particular, exudes a warm and inviting personality that makes every dining experience memorable. The food, especially the Pollo con Tajadas, is nothing short of delicious. The generous portions are notable – often more than enough for one person, ensuring you leave satisfied. My frequent visits have allowed me to interact with Victoria, Brenda, and the rest of the team, all of whom consistently display a level of friendliness and professionalism that truly sets this place apart. It's a pleasure to recommend such a welcoming and delicious dining experience to others.“

“Yummyyyy, I love coming here for a taste of home. I’m originally from the east coast and grew up in a Puerto Rican community where all the goods taste just like they do here, it’s so hard to come by PR restaurants and so lucky to have found Phoenix Coqui !!“

“What a difference a few years can make!! Music was no longer a main feature!! Food was visibly fresh and well managed, staff was quick, accurate and ready with paper menus. Sashimi platter features were well cut, fresh. Calamari app is crisped just right, not overcooked or under cooked. Sushi rolls I had N Lights and Señor Larry, rice was perfect!! Not overly soft or under done.Great time!! Would actually take friends or family!!!Non alcoholic mix drinks are available on request.“

“I hardly ever leave reviews but I truly felt like this place deserved it. This is the best Mexican food I’ve had in Phoenix. Not only that, but the staff were so incredibly nice. My husband and I ordered an online pickup when I went inside to pick it up and it wasn’t ready they offered me a seat and water. I didn’t wait even 10 minutes over the suggested time for pickup. Everyone I came into contact with was friendly and the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. We got a chicken torta, asada sope, shrimp cocktail, guacamole and chips. Our total was around $63 with a tip. We thought it was a good price for the quality and quantity of food. We will definitely be back!“

“I got the burger and it was absolutely delicious. It was cooked very well and it was nice and juicy. We immediately got seat and asked what we wanted to drink. The owner was very friendly and made great conversations to try and connect with us. I will be coming back again! Great 50s diner with great atmosphere and food.“

“Okay, this might be questionable but this was probably the best coffee cake I've had. I don't even think they make it there but where ever it came from it's delicious and paired perfectly with my vanilla latte. Service was great, and the outdoor swing and climbing vines are so cute and quaint. There's something whimsical about this shop, makes me want to come back for more!“

“Valentine has been on my list for a long time so when we finally made it to Melrose for dinner we pulled no punches on our ordering. If we didn't get everything on the menu we were close. The restaurant itself is cute and delightfully photogenic which helps set the tone for a great meal. On the cocktail front, most were good. The only standout to me was the hatch chili margarita served in a glass boot which was as tasty as it was eye catching. Similarly, most of the food was above average with nothing being bad. The Elote pasta is the standout - it was outstanding. Basically this is a carbonara style pasta with Elote flavors instead of the traditional bacon. The execution on this dish is perfect. Prices are quite high for what you get on most dishes and cocktails and if there was more value, I'd likely have a better rating. That said, I'd return and I definitely would like to come back for pastries from the coffee bar if driving by in the AM.“

“We tried four different flavors. I liked all but the fat Elvis. Just wasn’t for me. The dough melt was epic. Had one with vanilla and one with the bourbon caramel toffee. I would definitely come again to try more flavors. Drove past the place twice. Hard to see from the road and not much parking. We parked down the street. Maybe we’ll try another location next time we’re in town.“

“Used to be a great place to hang out and meet amazing people from all walks of life. The manager is stand off ish and the culture has become so clique ish. Not open or accepting. There are so many former customers such as myself that have left and will not come back because of it. Also, they ironically preach about creating a "sober" environment but actively sell substances some of which are quite addictive (kratom). Steer clear and find other kava bars that are more welcoming and less judgy.“

“My husband a I were visiting AZ for a wedding and searched for local vegan food. So happy to find Early Bird! The buffalo Mac n cheese is phenomenal and the BBQ Birdie sandwich was fantastic! So delicious! We got to meet the owner Crystal, who is lovely and I feel like we made a new vegan friend. Hepet at the front is awesome!Crystal and her staff are wonderful and my only complaint is they’re not in Austin - yet ?“
“Not a lot to say. We stopped in for a beer while trafilfic was easing up. The place was nothing special. The beer, Spellbinder, was pretty good. The thing that put it over the top for a 5-star were the great people we met. My wifenand I sat next to a newly engaged couple and a couple 35 years married. We had a great conversation about beer, secrets to a great marriage, dogs, and children - quite eclectic!Anyways, we had a wonderful time making new acquaintances. We wish we would have got contact info ro stay in touch, but it was not to be.The brewery seemed like a local hangout as it was packed at 2pm on a Friday. We would love to come back and continue the conversation.Recommend!“
“GET Phoenix hosted an event with Greenwood Brewing in late March. Our attendees were blown away with the courtyard area that was reserved for our private event! Paloma was a huge help with coordinating and a pleasure to work with, highly recommend!“

“This has become our go to place for lunch for me and my work besties! The tacos are so flavorful and they use homemade tortillas. You can see them making the tortillas in the window when you are ordering. Try the Flamingo! It's my favorite but the fish tacos are out of this world too. They have frijoles a la charra (whole beans) and salads too. Be sure to try their agua Frescas Every one of them are refreshing. They do have a happy hour 3-6 daily and ALL DAY on Tuesdays!“
“We hosted my baby sprinkle at The Teapot and couldn't have been happier with our choice! This spot is sooo cute and perfect for events! We reached out to the venue, and they were very communicative. They were so helpful the day of, and very reasonably priced! Definitely will consider this venue for my future events!“

“Decent coffee house, the homemade system in the lattes are almost too sweet, and there isn't good searing for bigger groups like teams trying to get together offsite. Other then that it was good place to work from, chill music selection, minimum volume, could easily hold phone conversations iside and out.“

“My fiancé and I have a slight obsession with trying to find the best coffee wherever we are living/visiting. And currently we have been living in the valley for four years. At this point in time, Moxie is our champion. Not only do they make very impressive specialty drinks but even their classic coffee, espresso and latte drinks are always amazing. One thing that we think really sets Moxie apart is their consistency. Their drinks never disappoint. Unlike many other shops where you might get a really good drink one day and then the next day it is much lower quality. On top of all that, their staff is incredibly kind, and cool. They help set the really chill but modern vibe in the shop that makes it a great place to chat with a friend or get work done. And one of my favorite things about Moxie is that if you have your coffee in shop, they will always serve your drink in one of their beautiful mugs or glasses. Most coffee shops tend to serve their drinks in disposable cups whether you're staying or going and I think it really ruins the experience. Moxie seems to really pay attention to the finer details:) Oh and one more thing! Their pastries are insane and they warm them up the perfect amount before they serve them to you! Moxie is 10/10 and over the years they've really gained my loyalty and my recommendation to anyone visiting or living in the valley:)“

“One of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. The tater tots inside were so crispy. Bacon was great. Eggs were fluffy. “Fantastic venue! It used to be a house, so it's very cozy, with lots of nooks for people to mingle in. It's the right comfortable, relaxed atmosphere to reconnect with old friends and make deep bonds with new ones. The cocktails and mocktails are phenomenal! Everyone's talking about the Queen Bee, but there's a cinnamon berry one with a shockingly complex flavour that I loved. We hosted a private mixer at Garden Bar and Kim & her team were terrific. Great to work with, rock solid, made the event a total delight. My guests kept coming up saying how lovely the place was and how delicious the drinks were. One guest was hesitant to try a different drink because of how enamoured he was with the first.A true hidden gem, and a fantastic host for our event. Highly recommend.“

“I tried this Vietnamese restaurant recommended by a friend, turns out it's our new favorite Vietnamese place! We used to go to other places that changed hands and the quality/flavor had changed. So I'm glad we checked this place! The choices we picked were delicious and well served in good sized portions. I was not able to eat my whole dish, I'm glad to have left overs for work ?. I can't wait to go back and try something else next time. I recommend this place if you are in this area and the mood for a good Phò!“

“Inaugural visit Saturday. After stopping at a brewery that was celebrating it's anniversary THIS was just the brewery I was looking for! Quiet, kids not running around, not nutty busy....just a quiet brewery w friendly beetender Tony! We almost didn't make it in as there isn't a lot of parking and all the spots were taken,... lucky for us a jeep left just as we were giving our second drive around. I was so excited to see ALL standard height tables!! Even the bar was regular barstools, not high top. There was even a couch lounge area and another couch nearby. So far this has clinched me!! The north was is mostly windows, glass doors or garage doors so lots of light and lets you see what's going on out on McDowell! Tony was kind and very helpful in building my flight and helping my mom pick a pint. The brew house is right there too! Comfortable chairs around the different tables. I like the tap list, it's not a standard list, it's 8.5x11 colored print outs. Tony was also very helpful in describing which order to drink my beers in and why. Upon tabbing out Tony slid me a sticker....much to my delight!! I collect these!! Thanks Tony and Roses By The Stairs for meeting my brewery needs on a Saturday afternoon.....cheers!“

“I’ve been vegan for almost 12 years. Slowly there have been restaurants that are plant based, but I’ve never found good vegan Mexican food, until now. “You know how some places have the Pig pan dulces, baked on the day you get there, and they're stiff, overly chewy and need a Sawzall or dunk them in coffee? Not here!I bought a Surprise Bag via the Too Good To Go food rescue app on a Thursday, and tucked into them the next morning. I tell you, the Piggies were so soft & tender, just the right amount of sweetness without having you jittery.. the pan dulce just melted in my mouth without needing the coffee - although it would go great with some!“

“I met good people at this place. Several times. Like several times I have been there and good people have been there. The bean bags and foosball in the court are just bonuses. The strong beer in the dark teal/green can. All the others are light. Some of the bartenders are friendly. Others, just doing their job. No hate though, if you had to take questions from a sweaty mustached man in full kit you might be tight lipped too. This place is the midtown Sunday drinking event station. Take advantage. No pictures. I think I made a friend so you know. When we're in church please no photos.“
“Seems like a secret hideout, every time I come its quiet. I hope they’re doing well though because everything is amazing. I’ve only ever had the pretzels and they are always so good. The beer is top notch. It seems all the other menu items are made with passion, maybe one day I’ll try something else. My one complaint is the hours. They are closed Monday-Wednesday and they close pretty early.“

“Fantastic new find for us. we had the shrimp etoufee which was amazing. So authentic and flavorful.. The chicken wings "dankenstein style" were dry rubbed and had am amazing blend of spices. I def believe there was some creole seasoning combined with a tiny bit if faunt sweetness. Seasoned perfectly... honestly my favorite wings ever. not 1 bit greasy, glistening inside. Just crazy. My wife had the chicken Salad which sounds boring, but not this chicken salad. Great service. Friendly owner who was mentored by our fave Cali soul food chef. Just crazy good. We will be back... prob on Wing Wed again lol. A must try. 10 out of 10.“

“This is hands-down the best Ethiopian food in Phoenix! Flavors are so complex and developed. We're vegetarian, so we usually go for the veggie combos and lentil sambusas. The ambience is friendly and warm, and there's an extra eating area with Mesob basket tables for a more communal and intimate setting. My husband and I enjoy this spot for date night, and my daughter loves eating with her hands. For an extra treat, try the coffee ceremony. We're not Ethiopian, but we just love this spot. “This tiny (five tables) place in a nondescript location is a real hidden gem! The three of us had pizza, lasagna, and spaghetti bolognese. All were absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous enough for tomorrow's lunch! But the piece de resistance was dessert. Our server mentioned one that isn't on the menu, semifreddo. Vanilla semi frozen base mixed with a broken brittle of dark chocolate, almonds, and caramel, drizzled with caramel and dark chocolate. IT WAS FABULOUS! We will be going back! We had such a hard time deciding, there were so many good choices on the menu.“

“Okay this is our favorite spot in Phoenix and one of our all-time favorites ANYWHERE! The whole concept is super creative and the dogs are amazing. Visiting Phoenix for a month and have already been back to Short Leash multiple times. These are not "hot dogs" in the traditional sense (do NOT think Oscar Mayer), but are culinary masterpieces that you get to help build. Brunch is (almost) as mind-blowing and the doughnuts...the doughnuts...oh my Lord, the doughnuts. Never have tasted anything so good. Each time back we've said "best doughnut ever" and then it gets beat the next time around. Indoors has a cool vibe (love the old school posters and all the dog photos) and the outdoor patio is off-street and wonderful in the spring weather. Don't miss Short Leash Hotdogs if you get the chance.“
