“Very intimate and definitely one of the better Michelin restaurants I've been to. I will be back and definitely recommend the chefs wine pairing. 10/10 experience staff was very knowledgeable and respectful. Selected the premium add-ons with zero regrets.“
“Costra taco was one of the best we had during our stay in PHX. The dark salsa that came with the chips was also fantastic. We ate in a group of 8 with a kid so we were worried we wouldn’t find room but we did and it was great. There were high chairs.“
“The vibe was easygoing and relaxed. The food was tasty and didn’t feel like it was trying too hard, which is hard to pull of with newer restaurants. Our server was amazing, made sure we were well taken care of but didn’t hover. The cocktails were balanced and smooth. The chocolate cake was the best I’ve ever had, delectable but not overly sweet. The owner was working the line, which I love. Sweet Phoenix spot!“
“Cool place in Downtown.Manger was super helpful. Fast service and server were niceHad the shrimp empanadas and potato tacos. The shrimp was a hit, and the potatoes were good. They just needed more salt n pepper.Prices were amazing, especially for downtown. Will definitely be going back to try the chicken tinga.“
“Fantastic venue! It used to be a house, so it's very cozy, with lots of nooks for people to mingle in. It's the right comfortable, relaxed atmosphere to reconnect with old friends and make deep bonds with new ones. The cocktails and mocktails are phenomenal! Everyone's talking about the Queen Bee, but there's a cinnamon berry one with a shockingly complex flavour that I loved. We hosted a private mixer at Garden Bar and Kim & her team were terrific. Great to work with, rock solid, made the event a total delight. My guests kept coming up saying how lovely the place was and how delicious the drinks were. One guest was hesitant to try a different drink because of how enamoured he was with the first.A true hidden gem, and a fantastic host for our event. Highly recommend.“
“It really surprised me, great atmosphere nice people, great service and the food... GREAT!!!We had the "Seared Scallops" , Bad & Buri, Ryujin , Mushrooms Miso Soup and a couple of drinks.Next time in Phoenix I am coming back for sure.“
“Contact-less pickup set up easily with a call (we had Covid) - order online easy. They brought out order and put in trunk. Food was good - pizza and wings, regular and boneless. Did not know “Butter” crust was a pan pizza, only issue…needs online description.“
“This is my favorite spot for craft beer straight from the tap. They also have a little convenience store on the other side of the bar that has other beers and wines that are not available on tap. Excellent customer service and atmosphere. Highly recommended to all beer and wine drinkers.“
“What’s not to like here? Everything is fresh and delicious. I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly. The appetizers were yummy and just enough for our group. Calamari was a huge hit! Highly recommend. The team was attentive & friendly. We ❤️ everything about Alexi’s Grill.“
“Omg what can I say this food is out of this world, came for the weekend for my son’s tournament and ate at Puerto Rican in Latin bar and Grill 3 times we were here, the best host, the best food takes be back to Puerto Rico all over again… the taste of the food is so authentic. Much Love to cook great jobsAnd pricing is not bad at all…. Food comes out quickly.. I am so pleased and happy ? highly recommend this beautiful place“
“had someone cut in front of me and a buddy right before the cash register on a night so busy they refused to serve people sitting at the bar, as soon as I told the person there was a line they told me I was locked out. tiki lounge or Grand ave brewing was far better“
“Nick was amazing!!! I’ve been to this bar a few times and have enjoyed it each time. This most recent visit absolutely blew away my expectations. Nick was truly putting on a masterclass in bartending. He took so much pride in his work, and was so personable. He recommended the perfect drinks and made them better than I could have imagined. Go to this bar!! Ask for Nick!!! You will be glad that you did.“
“We received outstanding service and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting.Given the price point of the menu I feel the food could be a bit more unique. Also, the dishes would benefit from being more balanced in seasoning - there was a tendency of every item on the plate having heavy, homogeneous flavor, so taste buds tire quickly.“
“My friend and I stopped into Rewinded to wait for our seats at the tiny Glai Baan restaurant. What a delightful surprise! Rewinded is a funky bar filled with the most board games I've ever seen. The Logo quiz game at our place at the bar made our wait to eat fly by. The staff was extremely friendly, and our server was very knowledgeable about wine. I can't wait to go back and play Monopoly. Maybe I'll score some real estate. Reminded is definitely a score!“
“Jewelz was fantastic. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. We had al pastor tacos and a version of mini quesadillas on corn tortillas. Fresh lettuce tomato and avocado on the side with pickled red onions. Service was very good, beer mugs always full and server/bartender was polite and attentive. Would definitely go back.“
“Lesbian bar. Dancing area and patio. They have a NA beer, and of course sodas. Wish there was an actual mocktail menu but you could ask the bartender to mix something up. Came during the day. Love that they opened at 2pm since we are old ladies that don't stay up late anymore ?Street parking is kind of limited so be prepared to walk a couple blocks. Not bad. Will be back.“
“What a great meal. The service was very welcoming with Karely taking care of me and my party. We got to meet the owner Jose! Very nice. I couldn’t eat all of my meal but I went home and finished it in front of the t.v. Thanks El Chullo and welcome to MELROSE!“
“Though we initially felt the menu is limited, every dish we ordered was exceptional. My daughter ordered the raviolis with marinara, and it may have been the best marinara I've ever had. The ingredients are fresh, and left us wanting more.“
“Such a cute spot! They had some good food that I really want to go back and try! I was there super early because I was meeting some people there and the waitress mentioned she had just finished a batch of champurrado. OMGosh, it was delicious! So perfect for the cold morning and I even got one to go. Staff was very helpful and just super nice. Great find!“
“We went for the NYE 4th annual Labyrinth Masquerade Ball! I wanted to ring in the NY with something I have never done. I am so excited to attend next year already such a fun time. Pictures came out a little blurry but the memory with forever be in my head and heart. Such a fantastic time. Thank you so much! Food was from the outside venue it was good though. Thank you all so much for putting this splendid event together. Silly girl if she would have gone that way, she would have gone straight to their castle..........“
“My husband and I came here on a Sunday close to 1:00pm. Although Yelp says that they opened at 1:00pm, a bartender stated that on Sundays they open around 2pm due to the low traffic on this day and at this time. We were waiting in front of the doors to find another place to go and the bartender went ahead and let us in at 1pm! The ambiance is always nice to me. The lighting in here just gives me good vibes. I haven't had the food from here but I plan on it when I come back!“
“Beer! BeeR! And more beer. Stopped to meet my friend for one beer...ha many beers later and some good laughs. The staff was great, especially the adorable bartender girl (we loved her, yes I do know her name). The owners stopped in and they were very kind. The place is super clean. They have a wide variety of beers on tap. They also have beers to go! So if you are a beerie (yup like a foodie) stop by, have a beer or three and enjoy the good music. CHEERS!“
“Desmond Spirits and Oven in Phoenix, Arizona, is a culinary haven that never fails to impress, and their corned beef plate is just one of the many reasons to visit this delightful establishment. However, it's not just about the corned beef; their shepherd's pie is another standout dish that deserves recognition. The shepherd's pie at Desmond Spirits and Oven is a hearty and comforting classic that is executed to perfection. The service is impeccable, with attentive staff who are always on hand to ensure that your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. In conclusion, Desmond Spirits and Oven is a culinary gem in the heart of Phoenix, and their shepherd's pie is just one of the many reasons to pay them a visit. Whether you're craving classic comfort food or innovative culinary creations, you're sure to find something to delight your taste buds at this charming restaurant.“
“Came here by chance and had a great lunch. Our server was Ally(?) and she helped with some recommendations. For drinks I had Dos XX’s ? and water. I started off with guacamole that was very good; and complimented the various salsas they brought out with chips. Enjoyed them all. Then I went with the lamb ? taco on a flour tortilla. Generous portion served. The meat was very tender and juicy too. The side of corn was very good as well. The meal was filling, but not so filling that I couldn’t try the rum cake with ice cream and caramel sauce. That, I couldn’t finish; so I took it ‘To Go.’ I’ll definitely return as my friend had the cherry beef that he says was better than the pulled pork. Great time sitting outdoors on the small patio area.“
“Full Vietnamese restaurant/bar. A packed parking lot at 8pm on a Saturday tells you this place is good. Employees are very attentive - not common, but appreciated. Pho was good. I liked how they cut the meatballs - thin long slices vs the standard quarter chunk that's hard to eat. I'd say they're a solid choice for the West Valley. I would agree with the Nats and cleanliness posts - but I'm kind of use to it in these restaurants so I don't mind as much. Definitely authentic“
“Great spot. Our first visit. Place was super clean and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Plenty of beer choices on tap, as well as, some wine. They also have food but we did not partake this time. Comfy place with plenty of tv's, lounge chairs, a couch, and outdoor seating as well. We will definitely be back.“
“I visited Last Exit Live with my significant other to see Don't Panic (Az local band) perform. This bar/venue is a small but cozy place, minimal seating in the back, standing bar only, at least during the show we saw. The waitress was Alice, and she was quite nice and chatted with us a bit. Lighting and sound for the performance was fantastic, and Don't Panic put on a wonderful show, as always.“
“I went with my boyfriend to play pool and have a drink. I really liked the bar and the jukebox. The ambiance was nice and I liked the interior with the tiki decor. It was dim and I love dim bars when it's hot and sunny outside. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars versus 5 was because of a bad smell near the bathroom area like a sewer smell. But I would still definitely go there again.“
“I’ve been going in here for probably 40 years. It’s one of THE BEST Burgers Anywhere. When I want just an Old Fashioned Burger. This is the place to go! I usually get their “Great Big One”. Great service and Very Welcoming atmosphere. I have a Service Dog and they even make Him feel Very Welcome.“
“solid divey experience that feels homey. not middle of nowhere dive where machete man in the parking lots looking for you. nice selection of brews, nice bartender, i even didn’t mind the very bright christmas lights ( i take to lower lighting dives) but this place is cool. good stuff PHX“
“I’m convinced that this is the single best growler bar in PHX, and it’s top 5 one of my favorite places to drink beer. The tap list is ALWAYS full of amazing beers, and the service is top notch. Plan to check this place out if you’re traveling, and if you live there and can visit often, I’m a little jealous.“
“This place is great. Claire is a superstar and Nick is also awesome. Food is fantastic. Pizzas are a top favorite of any pizza place and the fries were incredible. Anytime I'm in Phoenix I will go here. Claire's old fashioned is great. Has a nice twist to it. We went twice within a week. Place is clean and enjoyable to sit and hang out.“
“Best cocktails we’ve found in this neighborhood! Highly recommend the hummingbird (tart, complex old fashioned) or the saguaro sour (whiskey sour with a cinnamon twist). Also loved the beer selection, especially the very interesting rosemary IPA from Greenwood.“
“Great atmosphere and even better customer service, I ordered their waffle fry basket and hibiscus tea. The waffle fries in my opinion were just the right amount of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside (came with ketchup and buttermilk ranch), The hibiscus tea was just the right amount of sour definitely not too overwhelming. I give the waffle fries a 5/5 and the hibiscus tea a 5/5 as well, would definitely visit again, I recommend this place to take your friends and family.“
“Wife and I reserved a seat in the basement bar to follow our anniversary dinner at another restaurant. We were immediately seated and greeted. We browsed the menu and tried a few drinks (Elote Moda, Papel Picado and Poder De La Flor) while enjoying the music and vibe. Watching the bartender work was a treat because he's actually making your drinks instead of just mixing them. Each drink we had was wonderful and well worth the price, in my opinion. They also have a lot of nice touches like artwork in the ice and really cozy seating. I'd definitely recommend coming here and I do believe we'll return with friends.“
“We had a team happy hour during a conference last week and this place was perfect. I loved every detail of the decor and the drinks were phenomenal. We had the patio reserved and it was the perfect size for our group. The atmosphere, food, drinks, and service were great! There were two bartenders on service and the only recommendation I would have is to maybe have some additional staffing support when there is a large group. The bartenders were phenomenal and were a blur of business the entire time. They were trying to cover our group and the entire, full restaurant which is a tall task that I think they handled well overall!“
“This was such a cute spot in downtown Phx! The restaurant was super accommodating with my reservation and even was able to add to my already large party when I got to the restaurant! The service was great, loved the martinis (def try the lavender one, it was so good!). The food was also great and there was a lot of variety so that every girly with dietary restrictions was still able to find something they liked! The appetizers were also large and they were great to feed the table. Recommend the rosemary and sweet potato fries! We also loved the buffalo cauliflower. It looks like this place is a great brunch spot too, we came for dinner but will definitely be checking it out again for brunch!“
“Total dive bar, but this is the bar that sponsors our kickball league, so we will support it. Service was good and right down the road from he parl that we play at. Added bonus as most local dive bars... super inexpensive drinks and $2 jello shots, which is a bad idea before a kickball game.“
“I always walk by this place, and this time, I decided to give it a try. I had the southwest chicken sandwich, and omg it was delicious, but the real star of the show is their mango habanero sauce. It is so good. I really wanted to buy a whole bottle, but it is not for sale, bummer. Keep in mind if your don't like spicy, that sauce is not for you.“
“Great time for unique drinks with a rotating menu. Amazing service bartenders really make it a fun experience and know how to recommend drinks based on your taste. Drinks are perfect for a date night to make your own adventure trying out different drinks on the menu. I would recommend not being afraid of straying outside of your comfort zone you never know what you might like.“
“Been wanting to stop in and check this place out for a while. They play good music (underground hip hop and other stuff you don't hear on the radio when I was there). Appetizers were great, I had the artichoke dip and buffalo cauliflower. Draft selection wasn't huge however good choices. I'll be back for sure.“
“Quiet, but still a fun place to just enjoy a quick drink, plenty of beer selections, but only a couple of options if you dont enjoy beer! Their fries are also amazing. Breezy, the bartender, was very sweet and so helpful with picking new beers to try!Kid-friendliness: It's not really a place for kids“
“Small venue, nice outdoor seating. Food was good, a little slow coming out tho. I had the Fish and Chips. They coat it with cornbread crust, which was perfect. Fish was very tender. My friend had the pretzel plate with cheese which she thought was ok. They had a nice selection of beer of course! Definitely recommend this venue.“
“Here's another really nice place and it's refreshing because they're open late all days the week. The bartenders will engage you in conversation like the way you think old bartenders should be and the clientele is generally friendly but because it's a late night place there are sometimes a few unscrupulous characters that make their way through but the collective community that frequents the bar at night is top notch.“
“DJ Thursday night played The Specials to Fleetwood Mac. Big patio in the back with lots of seating. Bar has seating too. They have food as well. A dive bar with punk flair. Their parking lot is South of Gracie's, only 10 spots or so, best bet is to come early to snag a spot (like I did) or park in the neighborhood around it using the street parking available. "Chopped Cheese" for $9 was good. Imagine a diced hamburger.“
“What a cool place! The bird mural caught my eye and then the fantastic music drew me in. The bar tenders was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. She picked out a four pack of some super fun stuff to go and helped me choose the most delicious sour I think I've ever had!“
“I was wondering how any restaurant would be able to successfully take over the space once occupied by Sin Muerte, which was a great establishment. Hugo's does a great job at it, and boy did they change the theme. We've gone from the somber morgue theme to a very lively, bright pink cantina, and it is so fun! Love all the funky art and the colors. Food is delicious, and I appreciate that it does not cost an arm and a leg. The menu may not look very vegetarian-friendly, but they can make just about any of the menu items vegetarian upon request. The bar area with its emerald green walls is very neat too. Drinks are colorful and fun. Metered parking outside - it's downtown Phoenix and that means parking can be a pain. Fast service with a smile. I'd go back, and would 100% recommend it.“
“So much fun! We were a group of five and loved it. The atmosphere was great, our server, Annalise, was attentive and wonderful even though she was the only server, the food was delicious, and the small bowling balls and pins were a unique experience. We look forward to coming back.“
“Bianco pizza with a strawberry shortcake dessert Hanny's is a place dear to our heart that we stumbled upon one night in Phoenix 2 years ago. It's very romantic and intimate with great food and cocktails. The restaurant was transformed from being a department store with the same name into this amazing restraint. At the end you can see an elevator shaft they took out and replaced with glass to look down. Wonderful experience yet again and that dessert is to die for, I wouldn't even try anything else!“
“We stopped in at the casino and grabbed something to eat. We had a great time, the bar was great, and there were plenty of machines and tables to choose from.We didn't have a great experience with the food options late at night. The food wasn't good and was pretty expensive for the price we expected something a little better. We also had to ask for items that should have been given with food, like dressing and condiments. We just did not eat!!“
