“HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Frybread is soft and tasty. Huge portions. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. The double frybread burger was good, and the Navajo taco was amazing. Flew in from Texas and when we come back we will definitely come back to this place.“
“This place is Awesome!!! They have so many games, and a bar on both floors which makes it super easy for me to get a drink. I love the pinball, new and classic arcade games, and they have darts!!!! The music was awesome and the place is beautiful. I'll definitely be back soon!!! Also Aarin, Max, and Terry were extremely helpful, friendly, and made the experience even better!!!“
“My recent visit to ZONA Cantina Cocina was a mixed bag of experiences, with some highlights and a few areas for improvement. The food, for the most part, was excellent, and even the leftovers proved to be a delightful surprise the next day. However, when it came to the bar and drinks, I found them to be lacking. Despite dropping hints to the bartender, it seemed that our concerns went over her head, resulting in a less-than-satisfactory drink experience. Unfortunately, our server was also oblivious to our hints, leaving us feeling a bit neglected.Thankfully, the situation was salvaged by someone who carried themselves like the manager. They took notice of our dissatisfaction and promptly made it right by waiving some of the charges from our bill. Their attentiveness and willingness to rectify the situation were greatly appreciated and turned what could have been a disappointing experience into a more positive one.Overall, while there were some hiccups along the way, the outstanding food and the responsive actions of the management team leave me willing to give ZONA Cantina Cocina another chance in the future. With a bit more attention to the bar and drink service, they have the potential to provide a truly stellar dining experience.“
“Amazing Tacos and Mexican food. This is my favorite spot to get Carne Asada Quesadillas. Jarritos are always stocked up and every times I've been here it's always tasted amazing. Their Salsa is actually really spicy too I love it.“
“Just tried this new restaurant for the first time. The service was great, friendly and fast. The pricing is great. We got a good amount of food for under $20, that's hard to find nowadays. They even made custom machaca taco for us that wasn't on the menu. We are mexican food snobs! We eat a lot of Mexican food, cook a lot of Mexican food and we know quality food. This place passed the test. The salsa was flavorful (careful the habenaro is hot!) The enchilada red sauce was different, good but different. The beans are made from scratch, not out of a can! The beans are delicious. My favorite was the potato tacos. Crispy shell, creamy potatoes with crispy edges. The jalapeno sauce was delightful on the tacos. This is not high-end fancy Mexican food, this is family owned mom/pop shop that is doing it right. Also a bonus is they are open later than most places around. We will be back!“
“This was a cool place. I liked the vibe and location. The food was just so so, we got a bunch of tacos and they just weren't that flavorful. For food 3/5. However, the margs 5/5. The guava one had to be one of the best margaritas I've had! We will be back, we will skip the food but come for a few good drinks“
“Been there twice now. The 1st time, mostly went for the hotdogs, which are phenomenal. My first experience with Sonoran style hotdogs, and the buns are so good, and the whole hotdog is very very good. I honestly don't love the bacon wrapped around it, but it's OK and everything else more than makes up for it. My son had a Vampiro tostada, which was excellent as well, great flavor. I believe the others in my family had hotdogs at night, and we all loved it. The second trip, the cashier told us that they had change the menu a little bit. I had a hotdog and a taco, and the rest of my family had tacos. I did the Vampiro with Al Pastor, it was excellent! They all seemed to like theirs as well. My wife thought the tacos were just ok, she had chicken tacos. The restaurant was nice and clean. Service was OK, the cashier was also the server, and brought everything out in a timely manner.“
“First time here tried the sopes. Omg ? ? so delicious. I am glad to have an authentic mexican place near by. I look forward to trying more of their menu. The evening girl who had taken my order is respectful and kind. She definitely knows the menu and gave me a good detail of each item.“
“Great taqueria. Stop in and show 'em some love. Pastor, carne asada, shrimp, fish, cochinita pibil, cabeza (I would call it barbacoa) , birria tacos and bowls. Great fixins bar. Mexican Coke! Friendly, hard-working owner operators. A little off the beaten path, but worth the trip.“
“After a long day of community organizing, I was looking for a spot to chill and eat bomb tacos near my house. I found it. This little spot is new to my area and I am glad that I found it! The Birria taco Dorado was FANTASTIC! Crunchy y mojado con salsa. The carne Asada meat was smoky and in good sized chunks. The tortilla was not over cooked. The filidogo was perfect! The bun was grilled and buttery, covered in beans and sauces and the dog was wrapped in crunchy bacon. The young ladies at the register were fun, helpful and shared their opinions regarding their favorites. I think I found my local spot for hunger pang tacos!“
“Food is delicious, fresh, and seasoned well. I normally order off the delivery apps but I went in and picked my order up today. Great customer service overall. They only have a few tables inside to dine at so if you have a larger group it might be best to order take out.“
“Good tacos got to have the consomme with it. So used to getting beans and rice with my taco platters of birria. I want to say that there is one place that I went to that I wanted to multiple times during my stay in Arizona The Don was on point.“
“My girlfriend was craving Tortas so I took her to this place and the food was amazing. The bread was so good. Although they didn't have my favorite meat pastor so I got the shredded pork tacos and they were just as good. This will be our Torta place!“
“I am not sure how I have not experienced Birrieria Xolos before, but it will definitely be in my rotation moving forward! My cousin was visiting in town, and has lived in the area, but was looking to try something new! She found Birrieria Xolos on Yelp, and the photos cemented the choice. Originally, I was not going to get anything, but their Birria Pizza was speaking to me.....and it did not disappoint! They only offer one size, I think plenty for 3-4, as it's quite filling and enough for each person to have 2-3 slices, but leftovers are never bad! We grabbed it to go, their drive through makes it easy and is a nice change of pace for some quality mexican cuisine with authentic flavors. In addition, they wrapped up everything so well. Liquids and saucy dishes can be tough sometimes, especially if the biz doesn't offer quality to go containers. Though it was primarily just foam containers ( Not a big fan personally) They did wrap up the consume in plastic as well to keep the lids and any major leakage. They also included additional fixing from limes, cilantro, onion, small foam to go plates and tortillas wrapped. I have not had a birria pizza before, so I do not have anything to compare it to, but the massive quesadilla base, with birria sprinkled all on top, along with cilantro, cheese and pickled red onion, it's definitely a way I would continue to get my birria fix! The menu offerings include plenty of a la cart iems, classic sides and one combo. I would enjoy trying some of their other items, but honestly may not be able to divert from the pizza!“
“I work in the area and never noticed this Pollo place existed until I started doing a Google search for places to eat around here and read its high-ranking star reviews, and decided to come in and try it out.We ended up ordering the Pollo Combo, and I didn't disappoint. The flavor of The Pollo brought me back to some places where they sell it in Mexico. I would definitely keep coming back.I sometimes work in this area and I had never noticed that this place existed until I started doing a Google search for places to eat in this area and I noticed that the place has a high number of good comments and I told myself, well, we have to Stop and see what all the good things they say about the place are about.I ended up ordering the Pollo special and as expected, as soon as I tried it I thought I was eating El Pollo as they sell it in many places in Mexico. I will definitely continue returning to this place for El Pollo.“
“I came here for a Yelp Elite Event. This meal was free, but even if I paid, I'd still be happy. I had the jumbo shrimp. It was butterflied and seasoned with a Cajon seasoning. I had fries and zucchini as my sides. The service was exceptional and the place was very clean Definitely will be back.“
“I'm so mad that I've lived across the street from this place for at least a year and never tried it!!! The birria taco was melt in your mouth good and the carne asada was my favorite, though my usual go to is chicken. And thats not to say the chicken is a slouch either, the grill on that meat is delightful!!! Absolutely going to try to make this place a staple in my life, cause I'm sure I've only scratched the surface. :) thanks you guys for amazing service, and wonderful food!!“
“Delicioso! The Al Pastor is extraordinary, tender, so full of flavor! It was the perfect burrito combo plate! The tacos we're generous and filled with mouthwatering al pastor. perfect beans, rice was the best balance to all this deliciousness. Finished with fresh crispy churros! What a find ! We'll be back, ThankYou“
“We use this Taco Truck for my son’s 50th birthday. It was a phenomenal success. The food was fresh. The truck was clean and oh so delicious. So many people asked for their information at my party. I would definitely have them again without any question. I give them very high marks.“
“A coworker recommended Mario with West Coast Tire for my alternator repair. We were advised to bring the car in the following morning and the crew would work on it. The next morning when we arrived, Mario said they would try to squeeze us in- but wasn't sure if they would be able to because someone else had brought in their car unexpectedly. A couple of hours later, Mario called and informed us my radiator was leaking and asked to replace it. Mario & his crew were able to get a new radiator, install it, and replace my alternator, all that day- when he wasn't sure he was even going to be able to squeeze me in! What we paid was more than fair- it was a steal! What we would have paid in labor, we paid total! Not sure if they are cash only, but he offers a discount with cash. There is an ATM inside. Mario advised us to keep the receipt and any future radiator repairs would be covered! Great service, great prices, and a very knowledgeable team!! Also love the sense of community- many customers seemed to know Mario!“
“Amazing Tacos and Mexican food. This is my favorite spot to get Carne Asada Quesadillas. Jarritos are always stocked up and every times I've been here it's always tasted amazing. Their Salsa is actually really spicy too I love it.“
“Service here is always stellar. I love snagging a horchatta. To be honest, most of the food is nothing special. The price is a little steep. The chimichangas would be better without the guacamole. It is so plain and detracts from the flavor. The rolled tacos are decent comfort food. But the enchiladas, those are fantastic. Again, the price is steep, but they are a pleasant mix of amazing flavor and a massive quantity. Overall, I'm glad to live down the road.“
“I love street taco. I eat at so many different taco joints in all of Phoenix, east, west, north, and south. This is the best is the east valley. One of the best in whole Phoenix. Barbacoa is their best meat. Their carne asada and other meat is also good. Didn't order anything that i don't like.“
“I have been eating at Rito's since 1991. The green chili burro enchilada style is one of the best things I have ever eaten and the beans are the best I have ever been served as well. The staff at the Mesa location are fun, friendly and professional. We no longer live in Arizona but the first place we visit when we return is Rito's. All of my friends that I have taken or referred to Rito's say wow you were right. Great food! Try Rito's and you won't be disappointed.“
“This is a great place to get mesquite grilled tacos and burritos. It's one of the best carne asada tacos I've ever had, and the salsa is killer. You can build your tacos and burritos just the way you like them, and the service was very friendly. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of their menu.“
“Ate here on a Sunday morning. The staff was super friendly and made sure we were happy with our food. The food was super fresh and some of the best chicken around. The carne asada burrito was huge and so good. We got the whole chicken special as well with sides. The whole pintos were fabulous!! Would recommend and will be returning. Great food and great service!“
