“This was our first visit to the Capital Grill in Scottsdale. It was an experience to remember.

We had just purchased a new home in Arizona and stopped in to celebrate with drinks and a late lunch. Just walking in was impressive. The restaurant is beautiful ! The hostess immediately greeted us. She was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. We did not have reservations. Still, we experienced only a very short wait for our table.

Upon being seated, there was glitter on our table and beautiful card congratulating us on the purchase of the new home and a welcome to Arizona. (The hostess asked us earlier if there a special reason for stopping in)

Our wait staff was amazing, especially MARNIE ! Just the perfect blend of friendliness, knowledge, and superior service. Our food (Mini Tenderloin Sandwiches with Mushrooms) and drinks were to die for. Everything served to perfection.

We were served with a complimentary desert that was also to die for.

One of our favorite dining experiences ! We will be going back often. We highly recommend the Capital Grille. It is heaven !”

I was hungry before a concert and got to the venue pretty early, so I grabbed the southwestern burger. It was delicious! Nice, thick burger, with tons of cheese and hatch chili peppers on, and they didn't skimp on the bacon too. Great burger for a great price, I'll definitely be back again! Service was prompt and quick”

Cook really did a good job and food was done pretty quickly and tasted delicious. They have a full salsa bar and it was clean. 10/10 would recommend and come again!”

Also tasted the Shrimp and asparagus special, equally as good. And the portions...very generous! Wish I would have had room to try the mango and sticky rice...next time!”

The food was impeccable and all sent out evenly spaced so we could enjoy each course. We had the lobster escargot for an app and I recommend taking them out of the tray and set on plate because they are so hot. Excellent flavors though. The oysters were amazing and the tray of condiments were a delight. We shared the filet and it was cooked medium rare to perfection. Oh and the butter cake is a must for dessert! We look forward to coming back again and again.”

“Solid above average food. Brussel sprouts were really on point for an appetizer as well as the macaroni and cheese. Thete is a nice cheesy grits on the side dish menu that I liked as well. For dessert we tried the tiramisu which was really large and quite sweet for a tiramisu. Tiramisu is one of my all-time favorites. I've never had one even close to this sweet. So this was a disconnect for me.

Overall, These guys use quality ingredients and put out a good plate of food. It's not a place I'm going to be craving non-stop, but will definitely be back.”

“Had a truly excellent experience yesterday for brunch on the patio. It started with the hostess seating us which was very professional and courteous. Alexis was our server and she was amazing. Found out during the end of our meal that she had only been working there for two days. She was as knowledgeable and professional as she could be. She checked back numerous times to see if we needed anything. The brunch burger was amazing. So many flavors inside one bun! The Bloody Mary’s were spot on! We dont live here but if we did this would be a regular spot for brunch, business dinners or just a great date night! In todays world of lousy service and subpar service, this place is a shining star!!!!!”

“This is such a cool spot! I'm glad we stumbled upon it recently. Big shout out to Zack as well for the incredible energy and work ethic. Rare to see these days but it doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated.

My family and I were in the area and needed a last minute dinner. Our young daughter is loving chicken right now so when we saw the sign, we figured we'd give it a try. Zack greeted us and explained how sneakybird worked. We settled on trying Chicken Tenders, Homestyle, Garlic Butter Parmesan and Lemon pepper along with a flight of sauces. The sauces we tried were Sneaky, Mo Bourbon, Teriyaki, Fools Gold, and Soko. We also got the 2 Tenders and Tots from the "Kiddos" menu. We thoroughly enjoyed them all! My favorite sauce was the Mo Bourbon and it's slight spice kick along with that bourbony flavor. My wife really liked the Fools Gold sauce with it's slightly smokey, but not overbearing, flavor.

While we didn't partake in the bar this time, it is good to know they have a bar there with several beers on tap.

Should you visit, we hope you enjoy as much as we did! We will be back.

The moment I took my first bite, I was hit with a burst of flavor that exceeded my expectations. The meats were not only tender and juicy, but they were marinated to perfection, each morsel bursting with spices that danced on my tongue. The portion sizes were generous, and I could hardly believe how much food I had for the price—it was incredibly fair. The filet was cooked perfectly and the pork chops were good. The potatos were awesome. However the asparagus was overdone and was a little mushy. For dessert we had the creme brulee and it was licked clean. The server was extremely nice just extended a little thin.”

“My wife took me and the kids out for my birthday. We sat outside and were comfortable with plenty of heaters if you got cold. The teams service was good and they cleaned up the water glass I broke promptly and kept the table clear. To eat we had crabcakes, lobster mac, regular mac, au gratin, French fries, stuffed chicken, kids steak, a blue cheese and crab topped 11 oz filet with extra butter, creme Brulee and a pinata colada and old fashioned to drink. For the drinks i enjoyed my old fashoined but my wife didn't care for the colada. The au gratin were cubed instead of sliced like I expected but still very delicious. The lobster and regular mac were to die for and oh so cheesy. The fries could have used some seasoned salt, but still very good. The crabcakes were nothing special but still good. The stuffed chicken was so delicious, I wish I'd gotten that instead of the steak. The steak, unfortunately, was not good at all. My daughter didn't eat hers and mine was quite underwhelming. I ordered it medium well but it was well done. No big deal as it was still tender but the flavor was almost non existent. To be a steakhouse, I was disappointed. Outback, roadhouse and longhorn all have been better. The creme Brulee also wasn't for me because it tasted burned. (I know it's torched so maybe just not for me). Overall the food was mostly good if not delicious but to be a steakhouse the steaks were a huge letdown. I would still visit again to try other entrees.

Parking: The parking was fine for us. The restaurant is upstairs but there is an elevator if you don't want to use the stepa.
