The food here is good. Maxim has built a good reputation however, their service is terrible. The girls behind the counter are not friendly, helpful or welcoming. We always try to give people the benefit of the doubt but I've been there a few times and each time, their service sucks. I guess they know that people will always go there so it doesn't matter to them. If you aren't picky about service and just want baked goods, then give it a try. I am always a big fan of their assorted freshly made bread and pastries. They have cakes available as well but tasted almost the same with the ones in the supermarket across them but a little bit more pricy in comparison. Their transactions are cash-only basis and with the technology nowadays, I find it more convenient to just tap every chance I get. So for me it's an inconveniece when there's no other option to pay.
